We're Not Really Strangers’ Core Game can be played with anyone, at any stage of your friendship or relationship. The Couples Edition is designed for couples, whether they’ve been together forever or just made it official.

3. How do you play the Couples Edition?

Alternate asking and answering each question, starting with Level 1 all the way up to Level 3. Honest answers only.

4. What is the difference between Couples Edition, Honest Dating Expansion, and Relationship Expansion?

Couples Edition and the Relationship Expansion Pack are both games for couples to play. Couples Edition includes 150 prompts, while Relationship Expansion includes 54. The Honest Dating Expansion Pack focuses on getting to know potential partners.

5. Can the game be played remotely?

Yes! Couples Edition can easily be played on a phone or video call.

Review: There are some very good thought-provoking questions in here. It can be a fun way to get to know someone better or even ask some of the level 1 or 2 questions on a date. When I bought it about a year ago, there were a lot of spelling errors on the cards. If that bothers you, I might pass, but otherwise go for it.

Review: The first time I got this game for my bf, I gifted him the original version. Then I eventually gifted him the relationship "expansion pack," and now this Couple's edition. If that tells you how often we have used this game!If you're on the fence, trust me, just order this game. The simplicity of it and the quality of the questions are superior to other similar-style "get to know you" style games out there. My bf and I have connected so much with these cards, we reach for these for date nights and even play them before bed sometimes, and I love that after you have answered several cards on one level you can go deeper and move to the next "level" of cards together. Your answers and pace may take longer the longer you play, because the questions get more intimate in each progressing level. You also each get a "go deeper" card you can play on your partner if there is a point where you feel they didn't truly answer the question fully. My bf and I have laughed, learned and connected so much together every time we play, and this game is always guaranteed to lead us to... other ways of connecting, too :)Whether you are newer in a relationship looking to learn more about someone, or have been together for a long time, the questions in either edition will still be relevant. I would say if you are looking to try the game out for the first time for a relationship, and deciding between the Couple's edition and the Original edition - start with the Original game. That way you can order the Couple's edition as an expansion when you play this so much that all the cards have become familiar. ♥Original game - you could also play this edition with friends or family, because the questions are not specific to a relationship. These games really work best in a one-on-one setting, but you could probably play with a very small, close group.Couples game - honestly this edition is no better or worse in quality than the original game. Just more specific Qs to a relationship. If you are looking to connect with your partner I would still order the original edition, you will reach for this game more than once so it's always good to have more editions!
