Title: These work well!!
Review: 07/15/2024 - !!!READ 8/10/24 UPDATE!! This corn stripper is fan-freggin-tastic!! Gets the corn off the cob perfectly!!! It's 100x better than cutting corn off the cob with a knife!! Highly recomment this item to everyone! Cobs are very clean and boiled the cobs to make a wonderful "corn water", which is great to use in many recepies... Yes, get this thing to get your corn off the cob!!8/10/24 ****UPDATE**** Sadly, the products metal peeler "ring" separated/broke on 8/9/24, 34 days after purchase. It is no longer able to cut the corn from the cob. A little over a month and on the 4th or 5th use. This is now useless, and past return date, of course!! I must say, it really WAS...WAS....great for the 4-5 "worked as described" times used, but now useless garbage....

Title: I was floored! Great product.
Review: I donât like writing reviews. While they are certainly helpful in purchasing, I just donât like it! But this product made me want to write one.Iâve been freezing corn for 17 years and this is the best gadget to remove the kernels I have ever used. And I have tried them all. Cutting my fingers with knives and weird gadgets is over! I cut my labor time in half by using this. It cuts great, with very little mess. The bottom portion holds the kernels from about 3 large ears of corn and makes it easy to pour into your storage container or plastic bag. I thought it was a really good value for my money! Would recommend.

Title: Nice product
Review: Did like ease of use. Leaves some kernels on the smaller end of the cob. Depending on how you push cob through depends on how much of the whole kernel comes off. Would like to have the kernel catch cup be a little taller so you could push more of the cob through. The cob grabber should be a little longer. Sometimes hard to get a good hold on the cob because the cobs get slippery. Overall would recommend.

Review: Was concerned about how well it would work. Used it in my Elotes off the cob recipe... AMAZING - quick, little effort needed and easy to clean. Will use it every time I make corn on the cob.

Title: Product okay but buyer beware!!
Review: I found the most delicious recipe for a cold corn soup that's just perfect for hot summer days. Recipe calls for 8 ears of corn to be stripped of their kernels. Not wanting to cut my hands to shreds, I began looking for a corn cob stripper.Of all the different types of corn strippers out there this one made the most sense of all, so I bought it on 7/24/24. The first time I used it I was amazed at how efficiently the gizmo worked. Upon cleaning it after I was done stripping the corn, however, I noticed that cracks were starting to radiate out from the center of the clear plastic base of the collection cup, exactly below the center metal cutting ring. Now I live in Ohio and we grow our corn big here, so when I went to strip my corn for my next batch of soup, I noticed how I was having a bit of difficulty getting the wider end of the cob through the metal cutting ring. Thatâs because this second batch of ears were much bigger than the first ones, but I dealt with it.Yesterday I made a third batch of soup and not only have the cracks in the plastic started to radiate out from the center even further, I had a heck of a time getting the wider end of the cobs through the metal stripping ring. This was because not only were the cobs too wide to use on the stripper, I discovered that the sawtooth cutting edge on the ring has begun to lose its sharpness. So the moral of this story is thereâs a very good reason why this product has only a 30 day return period. Thatâs about how long it takes for this gadget start to fail.

Title: Broke after a couple weeks
Review: At first it was great, but after a couple of ears noticed it wasnât working as well. Looked at it today again and noticed the cutting ring had broken (and why we were getting mush instead of whole kernels). Not a great experience.

Customers say
Customers like the bladed food peeler for its ease of use and removal of corn kernels. They mention it works well, is easy to clean, and takes all the corn off the cob quickly. However, some customers have reported that the product cracks at the metal and plastic meet. Opinions differ on the value for money.
