Review: It seemed fair to report that this microwave bacon cooker deserves an upgrade to a four star rating. For standard sized bacon strips, I typically set my microwave for six minutes. I spray a light coating of regular cooking oil in the tray and place as many strips in the tray that can fit without overhang. I cover with a paper towel and cook for three minutes. I empty the excess grease and then cook for the additional three minutes. This works for me, since the bacon comes out just right and the pan cleans up with little effort.

Title: Works for me
Review: This the 3rd NordicWare bacon rack I’ve had over a period of roughly 25 years. The older ones have developed cracks to the point that they leak. Then I replace and pitch. The rack will hold 4-6 slices of bacon easily. I check the bacon halfway through its cooking time and pour off accumulated grease. The rack doesn’t get too hot to handle. I usually let it soak for 10-15 minutes in soapy water, then scrub the surface between the ribs with a small hand brush. This new rack is a different material. Time will tell if it holds up as well as its predecessors

Review: We use the microwave plate when cooking chicken rolls/turkey rolls in oven bags. Our rolls come out perfectly cooked. We couldn't live without the microwave plate.
