Title: Good book for croissant making
Review: I am a croissant lover, but I have never tried my hands on making them until got this book. It is standing out from other cook books, in that the author has made such detailed steps each accompanied with beautiful photos and you will know every tip and trick for each step of the way. The recipes are precise with high standards of professional quality, yet easy to follow with sidebar notes giving advice on some common mistakes made by beginners. From Classic Charm to the Modern Chic, there are so many variations and styles. I appreciate the imaginative and artistic creations, especially in the âThey belong in a zoo!â section, my wife had a lot of fun experimenting! Her first batch of croissants with four variations turned out really good, they are freshly hot, flaky and delicious, so much better than those bought from stores. We enjoyed not only feasting, but also the process of making them. Looking forward to trying the rest of the recipes.

Title: Detailed Instructions for Fabulous Croissants!
Review: This book is very detailed with formulas, variations of pastries to make with the basic dough, and beautiful pictures to show you what you can make from this book. I made ham and cheese filled croissants with some of the dough and some plain ones. I froze 2/3rds of the dough so that I can have it on hand to speed things up when we want a wonderful breakfast treat.

Title: Awesome recipe for the dough
Review: I followed step by step the recipe for the dough...it's worth it.First time for me to make croissants and they turned out pretty good.for the filling...I'm looking for something that is more visible after baking it.For example the pistachio cream or the vanilla cream get melted in the dough...it's good but I will try something different next time or make it thicker...

Title: I LOVED THE PICTURES AND STEPS PHOTOGRAPHED IN THE COOKBOOK! NICE RECIPES TOO!
Review: It's always nice when you are satisfied with a purchase. I am so very satisfied with this Croissant Cookbook. I had wanted to get one for a while, but life is busy and I just hadn't stopped to look for one. I found this here at Amazon, and it got here in record time -- so thank you Amazon. Also, the steps are photographed in the book, so you get to see the whole process for the recipe, which is amazing -- I just love the variety of recipes in it, and I hope to start using it soon. Very Satisfied Customer!!!

Title: Major upgrade from Phillsbury refrigerated crescent roll to fanzy "Croissant"
Review: Wasn't planning on writing a review on a desert book, but this one is too good not to share! Now that my wife and I are vaccinated and feeling safe to go out, we went to a friend's house for afternoon tea time gathering. OMG, we had the BEST Whiskey tarts ever when Karen served us her homemade dessert. My wife had 3 of them and I only got 2... Anyway, my wife surprisingly asked for the recipe. That's when Karen showed us this book. Long story short, we got the book 2 weeks ago, and it's worth every penny. I used to get Phillsbury crescent roll for breakfast during the weekend if I were lucky; now my wife prepares "Croissant" instead, and they are DELICIOUS!!! With July 4th coming, we are inviting my sister-in-law's family over, and the starter is already made. I think my lovely wife is trying to show off her newly acquired skill!

Title: Clearly instructed cookbook
Review: There are step-by-step instructions, diagrams and photos that show the procedures in making the croissant dough and other croissant pastries. However, the amount of butter used in this book is much higher than other croissant dough recipes.

Review: Although the recipes are well written with photographs for every step, the overall quality of the book is not worth the price paid. The print, paper and pictures look of poor quality and cheap. I feel cheated that I paid Rs. 2700 for this cheap looking paperback!
