A Cookie Lover’s Dream Come True
This is the ultimate cookie book full of all the flavors you love! From New York City Giant Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies to Nutella® Lava Cookies, Erin Renouf Mylroie, author of 2-Ingredient Miracle Dough Cookbook, has ranked 101 of her favorite cookies ever. With so many cookies to choose from―and some brownies and bars, for good measure―you’re sure to have the perfect treat to share no matter who you’re baking for.
Erin compiled this impressive collection of cookies so that you can have the best flavors for every season, holiday and party. Even better, most recipes can be made in a single bowl to cut down on cleanup, and there are so many delicious choices! Welcome the return of autumn with Dark Chocolate–Dipped Pumpkin Biscotti and Maple-Pecan Shortbread. Savor cozy winter days with Peppermint Sugar Cookies or Hot Cocoa and Marshmallow Sno-Cap Cookies. Or nix the cake and bake up a batch of Happy Birthday Cake Batter Cookies this year. With this cookbook, you’ll have everything you need to make your celebrations effortlessly sweet.

Title: So many choices!
Review: I was looking for a book with just cookie recipes as they are the baked goods I make most often and thought it would be very convenient to have a large selection of cookie recipes compiled in one place. I was correct. There are choices here for every taste. I like that the recipes are mostly easy to make and that there are some unique and interesting flavors included. Perhaps my favorite feature is that cookies for celebrating specific holidays are included and there is an index listing suggested cookie menus for various holidays inlcuded. The birthday cake cookies were a massive hit with all the kids in my family, from age 7 to age 19. Donât sleep on those.

Title: The ultimate resource for cookie lovers!
Review: Where do I begin??? I have been a longtime follower of the author, Erin Renouf Mylroie on Instagram and when I heard she was FINALLY collaborating with her daughter and putting all these incredible recipes into a cookbook I was beyond excited! As soon as I received my cookbook today I dove right in with my kids! We decided to flag the recipes we wanted to make ASAP. Well, after a few minutes we realized we were flagging every page, they're that good!Erin's recipes are simple and straightforward, she uses stuff you have, and she uses it in the simplest ways. There isn't 10 steps when it can be done in 4, and I really appreciate that!I think my favorite part though is all the personal stories she tells about each recipe. (I can't be the only person that reads cookbooks cover to cover??) And I thoroughly enjoy this little glimpse into the how and why each recipe came about and what makes it so special!!!

Title: I hope you like peanut butter!
Review: It's hard to live up to a title like "best on the planet". While the recipes are good, they don't match the hype. I realize cookies are sweet--I've been baking them for more than 50 years--but most of these are too sweet for me. Also, there is not much variety.Like peanut butter? This is your book! More than 20 recipes have peanut butter as the main ingredient. I wish I had known that before I bought the book--my son has a peanut allergy.I've tried 3 recipes. The pumpkin snickerdoodles were very good, the milk chocolate chip cookies were tasty, and theNantucket white chocolate cranberry pistachio cookies were successful. None of them wowed me, but I will keep trying. Maybe I'll find one I especially like to add to my annual Christmas selection.

Title: Best Cookie book ever
Review: I like the variety and simplicity of these recipes. Over the recent holidays I must have tried 8-10 of them. We found almost all of them delicious especially the raspberry ribbons, which I now make quite often. But this isn't just a holiday cookie book. Many of them can be used year round. I liked like many of them were "single pan" cookie mixing, as well as I didn't have to drag out my Kitchen Aid to make these. After awhile you get used to how she describes adding the ingredients, and although different than the way I used to make most cookies, the instructions are quite clear. Only complaint is I wish the color of the font describing measurements was a little more bold for my older eyes to see them. Great book! highly recommend!

Title: Just in time for the Holidays
Review: I follow Erin on Instagram and was so excited for her second cookbook! She did not disappoint! There's a picture for every recipe and nearly every recipe can be made using only one bowl. In addition to the traditional table of contents there is a holiday and seasons section with recommendations for which treats to bake for every season and for any holiday from Valentine's Day to Christmas. This came in extra handy when I was looking for a pumpkin dessert for October first. We loved the pumpkin snickerdoodles. We also made and loved the edible buttery playdough cookies and the campfire surprise cookies. I've made so many of Erin's recipes from her instagram account and they've all been wonderful. This is so great to have now that everyone is spending so much time at home and also with holiday baking just around the corner.

Title: Erin & Good Housekeeping: the only cookie cookbooks you need
Review: This is my second Erin cookbook and I am BEYOND thrilled to try out these recipes. The cookbook itself is great quality, photos are clear and beautiful, recipes are easy to follow and use ingredients you can find in your stores. But the stories, yâall. They MAKE it. And this is coming from someone who hates the stories in recipe bloggers. Her short recipe backgrounds / insider scoops really bring you into her home and make the recipe that much more relatable. I have made many recipes from her IG and her first cookbook and I know this one will be equally fabulous. This fall will be a season of baking in my house. Great great cookbook!!
