Review: Eigentlich war ich immer der Meinung so ziemlich alles von The Cure gehört zu haben, nee, da muss man natürlich irgendwann so ein Dingwie diese Scheibe rausbringen um auch noch die letzten Fans zu melken, dachte ich..... Kann man sehen wie man will, aber hier sind tatsächlich ein paar Songs verewigt, die man sonst nie so zu hören bekommt, von daher, ja, man muss diese Version haben, gerne auch ohne DVD, da gibt es nichts zu holen, die CD ist der wahre Schatz!

Review: I borrowed this first from the Library and liked it so much I had to own it.All three discs have the same songs on the first disc original recordings, the second new acoustic recordings and third DVD original videos and six videos of the acoustic recordings. The first disc is OK, a compilation of the greatest hits. The real treasure here though is disc 2. The recording quality is fantastic, probably the best recording I have heard and the performance is excellent too, played with skill, feeling, and full of detail. The clarity is breathtaking, without any fault. The balance is spot on with all instruments correctly balanced, no distortion, growling bass, exploding cymbals, detailed percussion and the stereo image is exceptional. Take my word for it, my Hi-Fi is £25,000 worth, B&W N802 & Meridian. Disc three includes DVD videos of six of the acoustic recordings which again sound great but are MP3 so don't have the resolution of the PCM tracks on disc 2.This box set of three discs is an absolute bargain and very generous for the money. Congratulations to Robert Smith and the other musicians for a masterpiece!

Review: CD2枚、DVD1枚、計3枚で箱入りです。往年のファンとしてはDVDに感動でした。地方出身の私なので海外ミュージシャンのPVなんて観る機会がなかったですから。特に「The Walk」の日本の小道具乱れ飛び(ある意味西洋人特有の勘違い感)が逆に笑えたり、「Love Cats」のカメラワークの粘着質な感じが当時のロバートスミス(今は見る陰もない巨漢ですが)の神経質感をよく表現できていたと思います。ヒット曲てんこ盛り、しかもPV付き、これは初心者にオススメです!!
