Title: Great Advice For Every Man!
Review: Maxim has written a great manual that's a reminder for every guy on how to navigate their way in a relationship. I have read other self-help books on this subject and this one I strongly recommend. You will not be disappointed and it’s always great to get a refresher of how you need to approach a relationship with a woman, especially if you want to have a serious relationship or to date multiple women.

Title: A perfect road map to becoming an arrogant, superficial, misogynistic douchebag.
Review: I've never read any of these dating/pick-up/seduction guru books before, and my assumption was that they were generally sleazy piles of misogynistic rubbish. This one seems to support my hypothesis.The author's approach is haphazard, disorganized and often contradictory. He stresses being honest with a woman about the terms of a relationship but two pages later he recommends hiding what you want from her so that she'll chase you. He explains that, apparently, jealousy is an important part of every healthy relationship but later warns of behaviors that will make you seem jealous.This approach to dating is so self-absorbed that surely it must only attract women who go for the callously conceited types. So much of this book is filtered through a one-sided expectation for a relationship: the man's time is valuable and his company is priceless, so the woman who doesn't waste his precious dating time will be lucky enough to be invited into his awesome life, provided she doesn't break the rules...which he will frankly lay out at the onset of the relationship.This book heavily implies or explicitly states that women are interchangeable, that women are biologically prone to trapping men in relationships, that women can be ranked according to their quality or value, that all women will eventually cheat on their boyfriends unless the man's stern hand at the helm of the relationship commands her respect, that fat women are universally undesirable, that sexually harrassing a woman you've just met is okay because this is how men need to flirt in order to arouse their targets, that the author is so awesome that he routinely attracts women he's not interested because he forgets to turn off his charm, that being polite is a weakness and a turn-off for women, that you should discourage your date from discussing anything that makes her seem unattractive, that taking a girlfriend is like giving her membership privileges to your badass life, that you should manipulate your girlfriend into being the needy one in the relationship so she always wants to be worthy of your company, that the man should be assertive as opposed to accommodating, and that you should not give holiday gifts to your girlfriend unless she's done something (probably something sexual) to deserve them.I think I'm offended on behalf of every woman I've ever known.There's some interesting if cursory behavioral psychology stuff in here, but who knows how much of it is based in fact. The author couldn't be bothered to proofread his manuscript or run a quick spell check on it, so I'm betting he didn't do much in the way of actual research either.You could follow the advice in this book. Some of it might actually work. But if you're the kind of person that wants a healthy partnership and a deep, lasting bond of mutual love and respect, then holy hell did you come to the wrong place.If you want to try to bang a lot of hot chicks and get dumped by a lot of hot chicks who are fed up with your disrespect and your self-centeredness, then maybe you've come to the right place.
