How can Spencer admit even a kiss is beyond his experience level, when everyone thinks he's a ladies' man?

Emily Best went to work for her stepfather, and now she's on a mission to prove she's the right woman for the job. There's no time for romance in her life. Not now, and especially not with a womanizer like Spencer. She's been hurt once, and she won't let it happen again.

Spencer Marshall can't risk his reputation by admitting he's been waiting for "the right woman" for his first kiss. His pride won't let him admit the truth, even when his "reputation" stands between him and the girl of his dreams. Emily Best.

In the end, he has to choose... Admit the humiliating truth in front of friends and family or risk losing Emily forever.

But even if he tells her, will she believe him?

If you love heartwarming romance that will make you laugh and cry and leave you with a smile, you'll love this sweet, friends-to-lovers romance by USA Today bestselling author Tamie Dearen. Get your HEA now!

Title: An Engaging Read
Review: This is a light-hearted story with plenty of unnerving complications. It also has some solid insights, such as: “If you find yourself changing or doing things you wouldn’t do normally to please a guy, take a step back and analyze the situation. Ask yourself this . . . is he helping you grow and be a better person, or are you changing in a bad way?”Some of the action takes place in a rock-climbing setting (outdoors or at a gym), which, for me, adds to the story’s appeal. The point-of-view switches are smoothly done and they keep everything moving while the plot line splits into subplots that have an amusing twist.I enjoyed the characters with their clever dialog and sisterly interaction—it all rings true. And then there are the RULES. Don’t miss them!

Title: The Best Girls are indeed the best!
Review: The Best Girls are back, and they're funnier and feistier and more charming than ever. Anne Best is now married to Steven Gherring and her daughter Emily is interning in their company as an accountant. Things are looking up for Anne, but Emily isn't sharing the fun. Spencer Marshall, the guy she met on a rock-climbing gym when she visited her mom for the first time in New York, is back and is also working in Gherring Inc. Just when she decided to live an uncomplicated boring single life, here comes Steven, the unpredictable, daring and heart-stoppingly handsome man who makes her lose control.Steven is known to be player, always seen with a lot of girls around him. Little did they know that he actually hasn't dated anyone or any girl for that matter. He's got lots of girl friends in the hiking club, but he never ever has kissed one, because he's waiting for that one special girl to share it with.In Best Dating Rules, we meet a lot of new characters and fun personalities. There's Becca, an untrustworthy shameless girl who's got the hots for Spencer; there's also Spencer's four charming and quite boisterous sisters Grace, Claire, Hannah & Olivia; and Brad & Josh, two doctors who have somehow found their way to the Best family. I love all of them, (except for Becca) and I had a great time reading their banters, hoots and loud & crazy convos.Oh, there are also two little additions to the Best-Gherring family and they're probably going to be my most favorites yet.Tamie Dearen hits another jackpot with her Best Girls series. She really does know how to make the reader feel happy, tickled in love and satisfied. I always enjoy reading her stories, even the miscommunication among the couples, and most especially the simple but witty dialogues. I look forward to reading Charlie's lovelife next. Woohoo!

Title: A Rolicking Good Romance
Review: Emily Best is learning fast that her new stepfather, Steven Gherring, is as much of a “force of nature” as her mother, Anne, who is always trying to find her and her sister (and every other unattached person) a spouse. He talks her into leaving a perfectly good job in Fort Worth to mve to New York to work for Gherring Inc. instead. As if that isn’t enough, he first day at work reunites her with Spencer Marshall, who has been texting, Skyping and emailing her ever since she’d met him a year ago on a previous trip to New York to visit her mother. Admittedly, she did think he was amazingly handsome, and she certainly had no quarrel with his personality. But, she had heard he was a player, and she had no intention of becoming involved in a dating relationship with someone like him. Especially since he always unsettled her, she couldn’t think straight around him, and it disturbed her immensely.Spencer, however, adores Emily and they agree to be “friends.” As they grow closer, Emily clings to the Best Dating Rules which she and her sister, Charlie, invented. The rules state, among other things, that it’s not a date unless one party pays for the other, or they kiss. Poor Spencer is as clueless about these rules as Emily is about the fact that not only is Spencer not a player, but he has never even kissed a girl.If you enjoy a rollicking good romance story, you’ll love Best dating Rules as much as I did. I definitely recommend it.

Title: Oh my Gosh
Review: This was a pretty lovely read. It was sweet that the story continued even whilst introducing new partners and loves. It felt like reconnecting with old friends as the story moved on to all these unanswered questions from the previous book. Spencer is an amazingly principled young man and so sweet pursuing his love. I didn't expect Emily to be the hot mess that she was but there is something to be said about fighting your developing feelings. In the end I was kind of let down by the actual proposal and I missed not having more of Grams around.

Review: Read the book mainly to catch up on the first book leads. Fell in love with Steven even more! Stephen was great too, though I really couldn't understand Emily and her stubbornness.

Review: Now that she has gained her CPA Emily Best is starting at her step-father's company Gherring Inc. although she hopes that everyone knows that she got the job with her own merits. Keeping her head down, Emily is reserved and cautious happily going about her new life in New York.Spencer is loving his internship at Gherring Inc. especially when he sees that Emily is working on the same floor. He has been trying to persuade her to go out with him since they met through her mom. With them both in the same city, it should be easy to get her to agree to a date or two.The course of true love never did run smoothly and a series of misunderstandings leaves them on a rollercoaster of a ride. Navigating through the 'Best family dating rules', reputations and proving their feelings for each other. One that will have you rooting for them to be together and frustrated that they keep getting diverted.

Review: I enjoyed both the seriousness and comedy of the book. It was good to see strong characters both male and female. I found it a little frustrated with both Emily and Charlie’s character with their relationship issues of Spenver and Josh. Overall the storyline was great, and glad the writer continued the storyline with Steven and Annie.
