The Midea Cube dehumidifier has a unique lift-and-twist design that offers unparalleled flexibility and capacity: when operating in extended form, it has up to 3 times more water tank capacity than traditional dehumidifiers and can run longer without the hassle of frequently emptying the tank; when in nested or drain form, the unit is half the size allowing compact storage or flexible draining. It can fit into most rooms and maintain the desired humidity level in your home. The patented sensor and wi-fi enabled app allow you to monitor the humidity and water level, all at your fingertips. With multi-directional air intake and up to three different fan speeds, it is powerful enough to dehumidify your room, and quiet enough that you'll forget it's even there
SMALLER FORM, LARGER CAPACITY - 3X larger water tank allows the Midea Cube to operate up to 3X longer than a conventional dehumidifier. Enjoy more time without the hassle of emptying the water tank.Control Type : Electronic.
CONTINUOUS DRAIN OPTION - Versatile, no-bucket option provides more flexibility to remove moisture. You can remove the water tank and place the unit above the sink using the included drain hose, or position it over a floor drain, near a window or door
SMART CONTROL -The Midea Cube is Wi-Fi enabled and can be controlled from anywhere through the cloud using the MSmartHome app on iOS or Android. You can also use voice commands throughout your house, office, or apartment using Alexa or Google Assistant
LIFT AND TWIST- World's first extendable dehumidifier offers unparalleled flexibility - operates in extended or nested form. You can easily find a place to store the unit when the space becomes dry, or extend it to its full capacity whenever you need it
1,500 SQUARE FEET OF COVERAGE - This Midea dehumidifier collects 20 pints of water a day and adjusts humidity from 35% to 85%. This unit is perfect for use in the basement, bathroom, bedroom, or crawlspace
INNOVATIVE FEATURES: The auto restart function limits disruption due to power outages by engaging your chosen settings as soon as power is restored. The auto-defrost function prevents the collected water from being frozen and doing harm to the machine

Title: Best I've had
Review: After about a month, this is the best dehumidifier I've owned. The app is quick to connect and intuitive enough for easy use.Scheduling is easy, has all the typical features (high low fan setting, target humid setting, etc)EXTREMELY efficient! I've seen it take my apartment from 60 down to 50 in under an hour.HUGE capacity in the tank for the size of unit - unlike anything else on the market. I used to empty once a day at least, now it's about once a week.Fairly quiet. It's not whisper quiet, but on low fan mode it's not going to disrupt a conversation or make it hard to watch TV or anything like that. It sounds about half the volume of a house fan on the lowest speed.Extra touches that are nice include the ability to remotely change settings in the app, even when the unit is turned off (sleep mode), and notifications when the tank fills up. You can also set it to stop when the tank reaches 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 or full, so if you have trouble lifting the tank when it's full, you won't ever have to.The only thing I can grip about is that it look pretty boxy - not as attractive as some other models, so if you want it in your living room and are really picky about that, it's something to consider. But for my money, the performance and convenience outweigh the aesthetics by a long shot - maybe tuck it behind your sofa or something.

Title: Removes lots of water in a large area
Review: Well designed, flexible unit that removes more H2O than I could gave imagined. Relatively quiet. Can be used in tank, pump or passive drain mode. Very compact if used in passive drain mode. Huge capacity of tank but heavy when full. Good wide handle makes it easy to pick up. The App works very well and keeps me informed about its status ( tank, filters etc). Superb dehumidifier!

Title: Full-featured, reliable, energy-efficient compressor dehumidifier
Review: I have used this dehumidifier for over a year and a half, both in my 800 sq. ft. cabin and in my 144 sq. ft. unheated storage shed. It has been effective and reliable, even in temperatures below 50 degrees F. It's a good fit for my cabin, but it's overpowered for my storage shed, causing it to cycle frequently.Because I use it in an unheated space, I appreciate the automatic defrost (the compressor stops and the fan keeps running to let the room air defrost the evaporator, consuming 20W). It would be nice if there were an indication that it is in defrost mode (other than the fan running without the compressor). Like almost every other dehumidifier, it doesn't work well below about 45 degrees F, and not at all below freezing. It would be nice if it didn't even try to run below about 35 degrees; I have to use a smart plug with my home automation system to shut off power to it when the temperature gets that cold.Because I use it when I am away, often for months at a time, I appreciate the continuous drain function (also protects it from damage due to freezing of accumulated water), the auto-start, and the remote monitoring and management using the Smart Home app. It would be even better if it were a Matter-compatible device, and if it reported temperature as well as humidity, but still it is a unit that keeps protecting my space indefinitely while I'm away.In the low temperatures and humidities where I use this dehumidifier, it of course does not remove the rated (at standard conditions of 86°F, 80% RH) 20 pints/day, and is not nearly as efficient at removing water as it would be at higher temperatures and humidities. In my small storage shed with vapor barrier, there is not that much to remove anyway, so I appreciate being able to set the humidity level and having the unit shut off when it reaches the desired level. At a setting of 55% humidity and temperatures ranging mostly from 40 to 60, averaged over 19 days, it removed 76 cups of water and used 41.7 KWh of electricity. That's 0.55 KWh/cup, 4.0 cups/day, 2.22 KWh/day. Even at temperatures as low as 40 degrees, it was able to keep the humidity below 60% in this small space, which is at 70-80% without it running. It would reduce humidity below 50% most of the time if I set it that low, at the cost of higher energy consumption.Like other compressor dehumidifiers, it's pretty loud -- not something I'd care to have running in the same otherwise-quiet room with me on a regular basis. It's also pretty heavy to carry up and down stairs. For my storage space, I'd like to find a unit like this with a quarter to half the capacity, but it seems like units in that range are Peltier/thermoelectric or dessicant types that are not as energy-efficient and lack crucial features like auto-defrost or auto-start.Overall, this is a well-made, full-featured, reliable, and energy-efficient unit that works well for bigger rooms and smaller houses or cabins, even if they are unoccupied for long periods, even in cool temperatures. I recommend it.

Title: An absolutely excellent dehumidifier
Review: I bought mine based upon Consumer Reportsâ praise for these and reviews here and I havenât been disappointed. You really couldnât ask for a better dehumidifier. I recommend this thing to people all the time.Itâs quite compact but holds way more water than most dehumidifiers twice itâs size. Itâs pretty quiet for what it is. Itâs very effective. Got a dank mildewy basement apartment well under control in just a few days and kept it that way.Brought a 1200 square foot apartment from 65+% humidity down to 35% in just under 4 days of running around the the clock and the mildew smell was 90% gone. Only had to empty the bucket once a day and the app tells you how full the bucket is at anytime and even estimates when it will be 100% full.It switches itself off when itâs full obviously. It even has a spigot like thing on the bottom so you can connect a hose for continuous draining if needed.Itâs also quite reasonable on electricity use *for a dehumidifier*. Bear in mind, dehumidifiers do use a lot of electricity if you run them all the time. Think small window air conditioner, not box fan (in terms of electricity use) and you have the idea.Really the only suggestion I could make as an improvement would be to add caster wheels to the bottom and perhaps a retractable power cord like some vacuums have.Oh, and it even has an app to control it which works via Wi-Fi. So you could literally turn it on or off when youâre at a friends house or work if you want to. You can also set it to maintain a certain humidity automatically.NOTE: It does NOT have wheels, but it does have sturdy handles. If you can lift 25 lbs off the floor with one hand, youâll have no trouble carting it around or emptying the bucket. I would say that an elderly person or a child under 13 or so might struggle a bit to lift the the unit and move it around or lift the bucket when itâs full though. If you plan to move it around a lot, you could put it on a sturdy, low profile platform with wheels. If the weight is an issue, just empty the bucket when itâs half-full and youâll probably make do just fine.Bear in mind, you do need to lift the entire unit UP and OFF of the bucket it sits upon in order to empty it.If lifting 20-25 lbs with one arm isnât an issue for you â then youâve found your dehumidifier, your search is over. Itâs a well-engineered and well-built unit thatâs worth every penny. Buy this or one of the similar smaller or larger cube-shaped Midea units and Iâm confident youâll be pleased with the results.

¡Te vas a sorprender!

Review: Large capacity, easily emptied and does it pull water out of the air!! We had a different MIDEO dehumidifier that failed just under a year after we bought it. It worked fabulously but sadly it stopped working. Through the AMAZON link to the supplier we reached out and received a full refund ... so it only made sense to buy another from MIDEA. Our daughter had previously bought this model and continues to really like it so we chose it. It is a little noisier than the previous model but it works great!!

Review: Replacing my Bionaire PureQuiet unit which was sadly discontinued. The Midea does a good job but a little cumbersome removing the top section to empty the large bucket but the large bucket also means less times having to empty it. The noise level was important to me and is actually very acceptable. All in all it's a great unit and well worth the price. An update. I'm well into my first summer with this unit and it's actually much better than I had expected. I've had many dehumidifiers over the years but none would compare to this one. I'd give it an A+ if I could!
