Title: Another great deal for the money.
Review: I'll admit that when I bought this chair I didn't even pay attention to the fact that it said "AmazonBasics" in the title. But as it turns out, Amazing must have contracted some Chinese company to build them stuff in their name. And as such, you can bet that the quailty of the item will actually be rather good. Why would Amazon put their name on garbage?This chair is a fantastic value. It was easy to put together, came with an Allen key and all if the hardware was in small, separate baggies that were labeled and the instructions were very well written and very easy to understand. I had the chair together in under ten minutes while moving at a leisurely pace. On top of this, the bolts came with blue thread locker already on them. I know that isn't a huge deal to most people, but it means something to me. It shows they want you to have this thing in one piece for a long time.The chair looks and feels like something you'd have in a professional office. The faux leather is well made and quite comfortable. The adjustment on it works very well and over all, the chair feels like it should cost much closer to the $100 mark.Make no mistake, this isnt some $300 chair, but at the same time, it isn't trying to be. I basically bought this thing to sit in front of our computer that we almost never use. So, in reality, I almost bought it just to complete my office. So, if you have a home office and want a chair that's very comfortable, looks good but don't care about the lack of head rest and don't want to break the bank, this is the one.I actually work in front of a computer all day long, and this is a chair I wouldn't mind having there. I'd probably miss the head rest after a bit, but this is something I would use in a professional setting.

Title: Great home office chair FOR THE PRICE POINT!!!
Review: This office chair is a great product FOR THE PRICE POINT!!! If you're over 6 feet tall or 250 pounds or both this is NOT the chair for you. Also, if you're used to very expensive, professional, office furniture at your workplace, this is NOT the chair for you. I didn't want to spend over $100 for a reasonably comfortable home office chair and this product fit the bill perfectly.Several reviewers have remarked that the assembly process was not the easiest. I used the tools pictured in the attached photo and it was fairly straight forward with a clear & easy to follow instruction manual. Overall (to include unboxing), the entire process took me about 30 minutes. If I had only used the Allen wrench provided to assemble the chair, the process would been somewhat more challenging and time consuming.Additionally, some reviewers have commented that sitting in this chair for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time is uncomfortable. Well, I have a $1,000, ergonomic chair at work and that's also uncomfortable after sitting in it for 2 or 3 hours. So for frequent home office work less than 45 minutes at a time, this chair is great. For serious, full time, work-from-home 8 hours a day, you'll have to spend a lot more to be comfortable.FOLLOW UP: After about 10 months of almost daily use my original comments above remain the same. The chair is still in great shape and working well for less than an hour at a time. Wheels aren't the best even on a tiled surface, but if that's what I wanted, I would have spent a lot more money. Still very happy with this purchase.

Title: Ok for the price, but has issues
Review: At this price point, you can't expect perfection, and if you order this chair do keep those expectations low. It is reasonably comfortable, and the faux leather looks and feels nice. However, it is smaller than the ad photos lead one to imagine, and the arms are a bit close in. The back tilts but it's default position can't be adjusted, and the seat tends to pitch you toward the front rather than toward the back. It is easy to assemble (about 15 minutes). Tip: don't fully tighten the arms until after you attach the back, then fully tighten the bolts on all three pieces. My biggest complaint is a strange flaw with the back on mine that presents unevenly where it meets the seat (see photo). I am choosing to accept the flaw rather than attempt an exchange. I don't expect this chair will hold together for long, and next time I'll spend more and be more picky. For the price, this is adequate, but nothing more.

Title: It worked for two years, then the cheap plastic construction broke and it is useless
Review: It was reasonably comfortable, but poorly designed. The bottom of the seat has plastic with no metal at all. And at the back, which has the most stress if you lean back, There is a pin going through the plastic that is almost half the width. So as you lean back it stresses a small but of cast plastic again and again. The plastic has no more strength than a 1x2 board. So any time you might stretch it can break. All looks and no real strength. For the price, I basically paid $4.50 a month to have a chair. Nothing you buy today can you see how it is made before you buy it. Am I upset because they did not put a few minutes extra thought and a dollars worth if steel into the design? This is how everything is made now, perhaps. "Oh, you want one that lasts? That cost extra" I hope in heaven things never break. My sights are very low now. Heaven is when things you buy actually work. It used to be a chair would last two or three decades or longer. This is a good chair, just do not lean back.

Review: I would definitely recommend this chair to people out there who are looking to buy a nice budget office chair. I mostly use it to play video games and throw my laundry on it when I'm not gaming obviously! Took me about 20 minutes to assemble it but an intelligent person can pull it off in 10. Instructions were clear. I'm 6'3" and I can sit comfortably and adjust the height as I like it. It's actually a strong chair, you can lean back without any problem whatsoever and this one mechanism also locks it at a certain tilt so that you can't f@*^ around and fall. Armrest things are perfect and I actually liked sitting on it, but some people complained that the bottom cushion is not good. Buy it I'm saying. Take care!
