Title: Lovely and Yummy
Review: As a classic deviled egg fan, this book was a fun find. It's small, hardcover, and full of beautiful photographs. A great gift book with an egg tray. Most importantly, the recipes are easy to follow and get an A plus for creativity. I never would have thought of mixing a California sushi roll with a deviled egg.The recipes are for a dozen eggs. I have made them, eaten what we wanted and stored the rest for the next day. They're just as tasty cold.My favorite ones so far are the Honey Mustard eggs with pretzels on top (great yummy kick on top!) and the Dirty martini eggs (chopped olives and onions). Some of the recipes are super fancy and will take me a while to get to like caviar or truffles. She starts with simple recipes and classic and gets more challenging and creative as she goes. The popcorn on top one has grilled corn inside and has a lot of steps but the results are not only visually spectacular, the layers of taste and texture are a delight.Next up for me, the Buffalo wing eggs. I love this book and recommend it.

Title: LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
Review: Who doesn't love some Deviled egg's at any gathering? They are a hit anywhere you go.What I look for in any cook book is for pictures.I just need to get that visual for what I am preparing ya know? The pictures are amazing. One for every recipe. Such great photography!I love all the ideas Kathy gives us for special occasions and such funfacts that I never knew. I also love how she brought in the old traditional recipes your Grandma use to make along with the new. You'll have to order for yourself to find out!I myself have ordered several copies and went and bought some beautiful egg trays for those last minute gifts we always need.Great job Kathy!

Title: Different...
Review: Deviled Eggs are one thing that this reviewer has heard a lot about over time, but never really investigated them, mostly since a traumatic series of school lunches has left a bit of an aversion to boiled eggs. This book changed that, or at least, has made the aversion a little less traumatic.Apparently, Deviled Eggs (hard-boiled eggs, shelled, cut in half and filled with egg yolks and mixed with other ingredients such as mayonnaise) are one of the most popular appetisers in the United States. This book is a very colourful, photogenic celebration of this humble dish, a cornucopia of history and cultural references and, of course, a great deal of recipes as well. There is even a range of Deviled Egg-specific dish ware to serve your eggs on.The author has even given a lot of thought to what recipes could be used on a specific holiday occasion, so you have a whole calendar with suggested recipes just in case you have not had enough eggs... and then there are the recommendations for different types of party too. One must wonder if the author has Deviled Eggs every day at home, as the enthusiasm for the subject seems to be bordering on addiction. After a brief introduction to eggs and their various cooking tips - which probably explained this reviewer's school-time traumas in fact - as well as a comprehensive overview of decoration and storage guidance it is time to see some recipes.Despite having a fairly common, unavoidable constant (the eggs) the various fillings and decorations managed to be fairly extensive and diverse. In fact, one could see potential for the various fillings and designs to be used on things other than eggs, such as a biscuit base or even as a decoration over flat items like fish or meat. Let your imagination run riot. Certainly the recipes are self explanatory and contain all the key bits and pieces you would need. Being a particular American speciality, one can sort of understand the lack of metric measurements also featuring in the recipes, but in today's "wide world" it seems a sloppy oversight nonetheless.A special mention must be made about the colour photographs used within this book as they could be separately used as a lesson in how the "same thing" can be photographed in a plethora of different ways without it looking boring or repetitive. To the sceptical hard-boiled egg eater, the photographs were so engaging it could have been a photographic/art book in its own right! Is it hypocritical to say that this reviewer liked this book even though he (still) dislikes one of the core components that are central to the book? Is it so bad to like Scotch Eggs, for example, whilst removing the egg... and is it a contradiction in terms to enjoy other egg dishes produced by scrambling or frying them? Who said that men are not logical...

Title: So many awesome ideas!!!!
Review: This 6x8" book is hardbound. Yay!!!! 147 pages. Every egg recipe has beautifully illustrated colored pictures of the finished deviled eggs. Most ingredients if you don't already have these in your home, can be easily obtained in most grocery stores. I really appreciated this. You can put most anything on top of a deviled egg, but this gives ideas I would never have thought of. Deviled eggs do not have to be made with chicken eggs. She lists other eggs such as Quail and Duck. So many different spices and garnishes. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Title: Cover is not dynamic and Sharpe..
Review: I was disappointed when this arrived. I though it would be a stunning book with stunning photos of deviled eggs by the other reviews I read Please know, t is printed in a secondary kind of stock.. it is just okay.. the cover is dull the book is small and the photos inside or just okay. It is a gift ..so I was wanting a WOW factor..I'm including an egg plate and decorator injector and hopefully can find another book to include to compensate.

Title: Deviled Eggs for Any Taste
Review: Good collection of recipes and tips on handling eggs. Some are a bit difficult to do, e.g., I can't find quail eggs in my local market, but adapt well. The basic recipes turn out very nice deviled eggs and the more exotic variations can be fun. All recipes are for one dozen eggs, so doing small sample batches can require some scaling down. The book has provided some fun and very good deviled eggs.
