Title: Perfect if you like pure simplicity
Review: Remember the 4th generation original Kindle? Imagine if that was just remade today with a backlight and a better user interface. I love having physical buttons in a neutral location, love how slim and simple it is, I can just drag and drop epubs onto it from my computer, and it's got a simple light. Was severely put off from most modern models of e-readers because they all seem to love not having buttons and shoving way more features than necessary in. So many expensive popular models want to show me ads, or get me involved in proprietary accounts and ecosystems, or shove a ton of other unnecessary network features down my throat when I just want a simple device that does one simple thing.This thing is as simple as it gets, there are some network features sure (that I'll likely never use because drag+drop from PC is easy) and for some reason I can play solitaire on it, but as far as adhering to the guiding principle of "do one thing well and nothing more" this is easily my pick of the modern selection of e-readers.If pocketbook is listening, for the next generation of this model please copy the button style of the 4th generation kindle, two page turn buttons on the sides of the device, so it can be casually one-handed in either hand while keeping easy access to page turning buttons. It was the perfect button layout and we need to bring it back.Also, it's weird that a 2023 device charges through micro-USB, but since these things need to be charged like once a month at most I can't bring myself to care too much.

Title: Kindle killer!
Review: This is really Amazing Kindle killer. Most of the people at US didn't know what you can purchase full analogue but fully unlocked and without any AD. Also fully open and you can copy any type of the book. Backlight works great. This model in NOT waterproof, I got it for my daughter. I have waterproof model to read at jym and pool.

Review: Es un gran artículo, anclado en el pasado, parece una tecnología vieja, pero sirve muy bien para la lectura de libros. Tiene varias funcionalidades útiles, lee varios tipos de archivos, incluye sudokus, y la bateria le dura casi un mes. En general es una gran compra. Mejoraría su interfaz táctil, pues al resaltar los textos es super impreciso y hace que sea complejo resaltar ideas, pero en general es una buena compra.

Review: I was unable to create an account on the device or mobile app. The device gave me an "operation cannot be completed" error, and the app gave me a JavaScript error.Without the ability to browse for books (account required), this software issue rendered the device completely useless.

Review: For a lover of paperbacks/hardbounds and a first-time user of an e-reader, Basic Lux 4 is not bad at all. It does its purpose well. One thing that I don’t fancy is its touchscreen. It’s slow to react, and it takes a second or two for the library to look “normal” after each swipe to browse. But overall, I like it; it’s handy, lightweight, with expandable external storage (a 512GB card is supported), and the display is easy on the eyes. 👍🏼
