Title: I have been using dip powder on my nails for years…..
Review: UPDATE—8/8/24- changing this to 5 . If you like at the 3rd and 4th picture- that is a week in- no chipping- still looks awesome! The 5 the picture is 2 weeks after— and you can see that I have growth on the bottom.. but otherwise still looks great! I may just file a bit and and another to coat! Love this product😊7/25/24 -I have been using to powder on my nails for years. I only bought this because the reviews were so high. I used it for the first time tonight and I have to say it was quicker and I liked only having the two steps. I will leave a follow up in a week or so letting you know if I up my rating to a 5😉

Title: Great beginner all-inclusive kit with clear and bright color payoff
Review: As far as beginners go, this is a great kit that includes everything you could need to apply and enjoy a nice dip nail manicure. The color selection is great for nude or colorful sets and the pictures are very accurate to the real life payoff. The glitters vary in consistency and require more care in applying for a satisfying result. The liquids work well together and are pretty simple to understand and use, but do require a bit more care than described in the instructions to keep them from becoming contaminated. Overall, I've loved using the glitter powders and the top coat is excellent. I don't personally prefer the included Beetles base because I prefer a thinner base (like the inexpensive asp Quick Dip acrylic powder set) and I found using just their top coat or their all-in-one base and top coat doesn't give me a long-lasting manicure. I'm pretty hard on my nails, so YMMV.THE VALUE: Excellent for what is provided.EASE OF USE: Good for beginners.THE POWDERS THEMSELVES: Great variety of colors and great color payoff. The glitters are coated so the glitter powders have stronger color payoff than other powders available at this price point (where it's just silver glitters set in a lightly-colored translucent base.) The downside to coated glitters is that if you file the glitter powder down for a more even appearance, the silver will show. Some of the glitter colors are chunkier than others (Z571, the true blue specifically) and are more difficult to get an even application. This could be due to the higher proportion of glitter to base powder for those colors. In comparison, the deep blue Z572 is a DREAM to apply and I didn't need to do much/any filing with it after a little practice. The solids are all opaque and smooth. Some of the darker colors lose a bit of visible pigment when filed down, but not as much as blacks or really deep colors can.THE LIQUIDS:My biggest complaint is that this set doesn't include any prep liquids. If there was a dehydrator included, this would be an A+ for beginners since skipping that step leads to massive lifting issues. A dehydrator and bonding liquid (like Sparkle & Co's pH prep) are two things I consider essential with ANY nail product application, from polish to traditional acrylic. The base and top coat are pretty thick and make it difficult to apply a thin layer. The base WILL dry out quickly if you don't take a lot of extra care (wiping the excess liquid off the top of the neck before you put the brush back in EVERY TIME) while applying your manicure. I personally don't like how thick the formulas are since thicker layers are more prone to breaking/cracking/chipping. Even when I use copious layers of Activator on the powder and base, the chipping issues were things I had to fix daily. Every day, I was repairing or reapplying at least one nail. I didn't like the all-in-one base and top coat from Beetles as it lead to crumbling-type issues with cracks or chips with how hard I am on my nails.I prefer using ASP's Quick Dip liquids with these powders as it prolongs lifting/chipping/cracking from 1-3 days with Beetles liquids to a week+ per nail. I still use the Beetle Top Coat for shine since it's glorious for that. I think their UV cure gel topcoat is the best for a low-fuss and longer-lasting shine.

Title: I'm usually too lazy to write reviews, but this kit deserves one!
Review: I had never done dip nails before (and maybe that's partially why i'm so impressed with this, since i have noting to compare to). In any case, I got this kit because 1. it takes so long for my home gel and acrylic polish to dry (even with a dry lamp) and I was sick of having smudges on my nails because of it; and 2. my nail polish never stays on for long, no matter what brands or base/top coats I try (I work in a hospital so am constantly washing my hands). This kit is DEFINITELY quick (almost instant!) drying. It is also MUCH easier to get clean borders than with traditional polish, and it is suuuuper long lasting (nails in my photo have been done for 8 days). As other reviews have said, if this is your first time doing your own dip nails, I definitely recommend watching a quick tutorial video before using, but overall the kit has great instructions and is really easy to use once you get the hang of it. Really cute color selection (and apparently the Beetles brand also sells additional color palettes, which I definitely plan to try). I've only used it twice now but people have been asking me where I get my nails done! The only downsides (honestly, more related to dip nail application in general than to the kit itself) are:- powder can get messy. even if you brush the nail off right over the container, some powder still ends up around the rest of the work space. BUT I found an easy solution (thanks youtube) is to just do your dip nails over a piece of printer paper to catch the dust, then when you're done you can just funnel the powder from the paper back into the container for easy clean up and to save powder (doing this saved more powder than i expected it to!)- Can be time consuming to smooth out the powder coat before applying top coat. Depending on how smoothly and quickly you dip after applying the base coat, you can end up with uneven clumps, and it can take a long time to smooth it out with a regular nail file before applying the top coat. The more I use the kit, I'm getting better at dipping more smoothly and therefore avoiding making big clumps to begin with, however there are still times when i have to file the powder surface down to make it look smoother. Another tip I saw from youtube was to get an electric nail file to save time with filing-- I just ordered a cheap electric file for $12 from walmart, so we'll see if it makes it quicker.Anyway, very impressed and very much recommend this kit.

Review: I absolutely love Beetles Gel Nail Polish! It's a game-changer for trendy and long-lasting manicures. The colors are vibrant and stylish, and the polish goes on smoothly without streaks. It dries quickly under a UV or LED lamp, saving time and ensuring a flawless finish. The best part is that it stays chip-free for weeks, making my nails look fabulous for a long time. If you want salon-quality nails at home, Beetles Gel Nail Polish is the way to go!

Review: I tried this product with tips to make my nails full length the first time I used it. You must take your time applying it, to not get the powder on your nail beds. It required alot of filing down, and I would suggest buying a couple naul files of various grits to get it super smooth. All in all would buy again.

Review: I was paying $80 plus tax for dip manicure in the salon. This has a bit of a learning curve but it’s actually pretty easy to do. I recommend not getting any of the lacquer on your skin because it’s kind of a pain to remove but you can use a file to get it off. Very good value for the money, lots of really nice colors
