Title: My miniature schnauzer looks great!
Review: These clippers work great and have detachable blades so you can swap out the blade size to get the correct length cut. I would recommend getting a clipper with this feature because if you want to groom at home long term they will pay off and are a great investment. These come with a standard size 10 blade that is sharp and works on my schnauzer great. I prefer having detachable blades over the clip on attachments because they cut closer to the skin and produce a cleaner cut. With the detachable blades you can switch to different size blades quickly throughout the grooming session so you'll get that professional quality look.We used to use an Oster with the clip ons but those cut horribly and never gave a clean, even cut. I'm so glad I switched over to the Andis because now I'm able to have an array of different blades. The blade does get quite hot after about 5-10 minutes of constant use so I do recommend frequently lubricating or buying a blade coolant spray, which Amazon carries. The Andis clippers are not any louder than any other brand you would get and my dog tolerates it well on her body and legs. She does hate it however when we clip her ears and head area so we are thinking of picking up a pair of mini clippers to accommodate this one.I recommend these clippers for someone looking to start grooming at home. The size 10 blade is sharp, you can detach and switch the blades, and the clippers have a strong motor. They also come in a nice sturdy hard box with a set of clip ons, oil, and manual. It did not come with a small brush to clean the blade, which was a bummer. If you have the time you can always watch grooming videos by Andis online or other channels and they show great tips to groom specific breeds. Have gotten many compliments on my dog's haircut so far so I'm satisfied with my purchase! The only cons are that it does get hot and is corded for those who need wireless.

Review: Great clipper for your pet!I used this on a feline with fine, angora-like fur. Worked like a charm, even on dreaddy areas.I would recommend trimming your pet's nails first, because even though this trimmer is ultra quiet, apparently the thought of trimming spooked my cat a little...and we all know what happens when a cat gets perturbed. Meowch!I'm thinking it reminded him of the veterinarian, where this type of tool was used before with him, but for a briefer period of time. Once he realized he was not at the vet's, or going there, he calmed down significantly, and I was able to get a SIGNIFICANT amount of dreads removed without him being bothered much more.Tips: I always use a positive re-enforcer like a pet treat or favorite food afterward, so pet associates the trim with an enjoyable experience. Before first trim, I would recommend running the clipper near the animal for a little bit of time, to accustom them to the noise machine, so they know it won't "bite" them. Also be sure to oil it, and take a break once in a while, because as with any clippers, they do get a little warm after a while. I would not say they get hot enough to burn, but they probably could if a break is not taken once in a while, for a very long trim. (break should be taken also if working for a long time just so that the animal gets a fresh air break- even a quiet trim can be stressful- I'd say every 15 minutes or so, taking a 5 minute break will keep stress down.)Have not had to use the combs yet, but they are easy to apply to the trimmer. Changing blades is a bit of a trick, that's why I took off one star. Even my "assistant" had to work with it for a bit to get it to work smoothly. Again, oil oil oil, and it will really help smooth things out.Overall, great value for a one-speed trimmer! Very safe to use, no worries there. Was recommended by the vet, and the vet was right! Does have a cord, so if you need a cordless version, you'll have to go into another price bracket. But if that is not an issue, I'm thinking this would work fine for you.

Review: Cuts nicely, but it does get really warm when you run it for extended periods. My dogs started squirming then I stop for the clippers to cool. I was told ceramic blades stay cool but these didn't. Easy clean also.

Y recién salida de la caja la probe para ver si no había precipitado la compra, para mi sorpresa, la coloque sobre mi pequeña y corto como si nada, tal mantequilla sobre sartén.PS. Su pelaje tenía un largo de aprox. 8cm.
