Title: Reliable and Effective--So Good I Purchased a 2nd Time
Review: This collar and remote are by far the most effective I've tried. This review is for the second collar/remote set I've purchased. I've previously purchased several really junky units, or units that I felt were uncomfortable for my dogs. This collar and remote are so much better. The collar unit has three sensations--a beep, a vibrate, and a "zing" (that's what I call it). The beep and vibrate are self-explanatory. The "zing" is interesting, because it is NOT an electric/battery shock like people often think when they see my dogs wearing their collars. The zing feels like a weak version of a "TENS" device stimulation. A lot of physical therapists use the TENS device after a treatment. The sensation doesn't hurt, but it's not comfortable. It's a very weird, gross feeling. It's so hard to explain unless someone has either used a TENS or put the collar on their skin and zinged themselves (which is a REALLY important thing to do, by the way, just to know what your dog will experience).I have one dog that is 17 pounds and another that is 105. My 17-pound guy is a major barker. He HATES the vibration mode. The beep is enough of a deterrent if he hasn't worked himself into a frenzy (which happens quickly, lol), but when I press the vibration button, he stops. The only times I've used the third sensation (I call it the "zing" mode) are once when he ran into the road and wouldn't respond to my call, and recently he started chasing someone's chickens. My 17-pounder (Boo) is the reason I initially purchased the collar, but somehow I lost the remote. We HAVE to have the collar for Boo. The remote can actually run TWO collars by sliding a button (up for one collar and down for the other). So, I purchased a second collar/remote combo (so then I had the new collar, the old collar and a new remote). I programmed the new remote to operate both the old and the new collars. My big guy (Sunny) is a thick-necked, 105-pound lab/retriever mix. The same collar adjusts to be big enough to fit him at the largest point. I hardly ever have to move past the beep with Sunny. It's loud and it irritates him. He'll usually shake his head and stop barking when he hears it. I've only had to use vibrate a handful of times. I have never once had to zing him.The collars have been so helpful, and if these wear out, I will definitely be repurchasing if needed (if I lose the remote again, lol).

Title: Works great! Long battery life
Review: My dog has a VERY high prey drive for squirrels and I was at my wits end with counter conditioning and desensitization. I had previously used an e collar for peace of mind with recall, so I decided to give it another go. I only use the beep in case he goes over threshold, it doesn’t replace counter conditioning but MAN does it help. It’s also enabled me to take him off leash more. Note that this collar, or any collar, requires training to use it effectively and humanely. The battery life is really long and it works perfectly for my needs.I can’t speak to the “shock” or “vibrate” as I don’t use them. But I did try a low level shock on myself just in case- seemed to work just fine. The only problem I’ve had is accidentally switching the mode from 1 collar to 2 and not realizing it but I think that was more user error than anything

Title: Works well and more streamlined than older yellow model, however, needs a few tweaks for 5 stars
Review: We were happy to test this updated version of the Bousnic Shock Collar on our 12 pound Bichpoo in many different outdoor environments. We had already been using the earlier model, which has the yellow colored remote and a slightly bulkier collar profile, and have been very happy with the many features included therein, such as, a REALLY long battery life, easy charging capability, the collar receiver device vibrates when it gets powered off, the yellow remote has a nice identifiable color and grippy feel, the yellow remote has a convenient wrist strap to which we have added our own neck strap so it could be used hands-free. On the other hand, the newer model has a sleeker profile than the older one for both the receiver and the remote. The newer receiver has two rubber prongs that seem shorter than the older model, however, if your dog has long fur or a thick neck there are extension prongs that supposedly help. Our dog's neck is small so we didn't need to use the extensions. One downside that we encountered, however, is that unbeknownst to us, the prongs got loose over time (we never had this problem with the older model). We didn't realize that the prongs in the newer model easily unscrew themselves with the constant friction against our dog's fine hair, and, unfortunately, one of them fell off and became lost. We will contact the manufacturer to see how we can get a replacement because without both prongs the device is much less effective. The newer light gray hand held remote is shorter and has a nice look to it, however, we really miss the wrist strap for better security and/or to make it into a hands-free option. This is especially helpful when you have to hold your dog's retractable leash in one hand once you want to go off leash with the e-collar on. Also, a minor downside to the gray color of the newer remote it that it is a little harder to identify and locate when placed on a cluttered counter or tossed in a bag/purse. Overall, the sound and vibrate settings work really well on our dog. Typically all we have to do to get her attention and come back to us immediately is to press the top sound button. We rarely have to resort to the vibrate option. We have never used the shock option because the other two sound and vibrate buttons are effective in getting her to stop in her tracks. One reason we think the Bousnic E-collar has worked so well for us is that we started using it soon after we got her when she was a young puppy. Now at 1 year and 4 months, she responds very well simply to voice command. We still use the e-collar on her when she is off leash at the beach, in the woods, or open fields just for safe measure if she were to go behind a tree or romp off in the distance and we want her to come back within view. One never knows if a squirrel or another distraction may suddenly catch her attention and lead her to go a bit astray. The e-collar gives us a lot of peace of mind when she is off leash. We attribute our positive results to early intervention, consistent use of the well designed Bousnic e-collar (we used older the yellow version) and our dog's intelligence. We would highly recommend the e-collar with a few tweaks: advise owners to check and tighten the rubber screw-in contacts of the collar device frequently and improve the design so they don't unscrew so easily, add a strap to the hand remote, perhaps add a flash of color or bright logo somewhere so it's easier to identify, and restore the vibration shut off feature back into the collar receiver device, and perhaps better weatherproofing. The newer collar device is slightly more sleek and maybe a tiny lighter. This matters especially for smaller dogs such as ours. One last comment is about the buttons on the remote. Since we take our dog to the beach a lot, granules of sand tend to attach to the button panel of the remote. I wonder if there is a way to have a more impervious seal between the buttons and housing of the remote so granules cannot get stuck or even water droplets in case it rains or snows? There is a warning that the remote is not waterproof. Maybe at some point the design can be tweaked to be more weatherproof and less vulnerable to sand and dust particles entering into the button crevices. Thanks for this opportunity to test a really good device. I would highly recommend the Bousnic shock collar with the few reservations I have mentioned.

Review: I have so many good things to say about this! 1st - it’s the first collar I found that was aesthetically pleasing and when I received it, the quality is incredible. The remote is so sleek. And the collar itself is not too big and it looks great. We were worried bc we didn’t want a shock collar and this one is one technically but all of the collars that didn’t have the shock at all just had absolutely awful reviews and were all hideous looking! So we took a chance on this one and it turns out you can just not put the shock knobs into the collar, we’ve tested it out even with pressing the shock button and it doesn’t work. Best collar around! It’s aesthetically pleasing, sleek, amazing quality, the battery lasts LONG, and it WORKS. It’s perfect for training our dog with pressing the beep button first for a warning and if she proceeds then we use the vibrate button - it also has about 15 levels (I can’t quite remember the exact number, but it’s a lot) of increasing the intensity of the vibrate as well. Don’t hesitate to buy it. I wish we bought this and found it sooner!!!

Review: This collar works great for my dog, I only had to vibrate her a few times after she tried to ignore the beep.We live on a farm so she is an outside dog, but she's still young and likes to get herself into places and things we would rather her not. Now it's a quick beep and she comes straight back home. We removed the metal studs as she doesn't need the shock. And I'm afraid I'll accidentally zap her. I only really need it once or twice a week, for example when she is annoying the cats or getting into the septic field that we need to get fenced off.My only issue is that it keeps turning itself off. I wish there was a way to avoid this, even when fully charged I have to make sure it's on every morning, and often it's shut off again later that afternoon.Otherwise, this is a great collar.. maybe just a bit more work for a young farm guardian dog.I would recommend it.

Review: We are disappointed in the quality on the remote screen. It scratched the first time using it and we didn’t even have it near anything that should have scratched it that quickly or that bad. Otherwise item works good! Just disappointed in quality.

Review: The vibrate feature on this collar is perfect for getting my dog’s attention and taking her excitement down a notch. It doesn’t hurt or scare her, just gets her attention. I like that you don’t even have to install the shock feature.
