Title: Efficient, simple testing with quick turn-around
Review: Chose this test based on positive reviews. Test arrived as sched. Was very simple to undetstand and perform on my small Puppy.Sent it back into their lab and results back to me (online) in just 15 days. Results Report seems accurate, identifying 9 different breeds for this "mutt", and was loaded with general, but useful information for each relative breed.Also offers a variety of upgrade options.Would recommend.

Title: Easy to use, and great response time
Review: I bought this because we wanted to find out the complete genetic background of our beautiful princess pup. As it turned out we were only aware of two particular breeds of dog in background. This DNA test showed us that there are at least five confirmed breeds among her ancestors, and offered us the option of unlocking her medical background to find out what disease and disorders her particular breed(s) may be prone to.Although we didn't take advantage of the medical aspect of the DNA test, it did give us fairly detailed information about her direct ancestors, and even identified other dogs that are related to her. We discovered she has an older brother (from a previous litter) living about an hour away from us, which is kind of a cute little factoid.For the price of the DNA panel, and the information it provides, I was very happy. The swabs were fairly easy to use, although the princess seemed to think the collection swab was a dog treat at first. If you choose to unlock additional information, ie medical info, etc, you will have to pay a little bit extra, but the turnaround time was very fast, and their website is very easy to use once you create a userID and password.Overall, this is a great purchase. Very informative, and easy to use. I would highly recommend this for any dog owner.

Title: Surprising and Accurate DNA Results!
Review: We've used Wisdom Panel before for our other dog, and the results were spot on, as we knew the parents' breeds. So, when we adopted a rescue puppy and were told she was a Lab/Shepherd mix, we were curious to confirm. The test kit is super easy to use, and I loved their tracking service, which lets you follow the kit's progress from mailing to results. We were shocked when the results came back, showing our pup is a mix of several breeds—Great Pyrenees, Chow-Chow, and Boxer being the top three! So much for the Lab/Shepherd mix—LOL. Overall, it’s a great product at a great price. Highly recommend!

Title: Interesting Insight into Dog's DNA
Review: My wife and I adopt rescue dogs which are almost always mixed breeds. It is fun to know the breeds of a rescue dog. It is also good to know for potential health issues. While these DNA tests are not perfect, the do provide interesting and valuable insight.

Title: Accurate results & great customer service!
Review: For 11 years I've wondered what my beautiful black rescue dog might be, and now, thanks to Wisdom Panel 3.0, I finally I know! Most people think he looks like a wolf, but there are obvious non-wolf characteristics, like straight back legs, a curled tail, and a GSD-like personality. ("I'm the Dog, and I'm here to help!") There are several breeds I've suspected in his lineage, but before getting the test results, I forced myself to pick the four I thought were most likely. When the test results arrived, I knew they were right on, because Wisdom Panel found the same four breeds I'd predicted: Chow, Malamute, German Shepherd, and Gray Wolf. The family tree was arranged in a very plausible way that made perfect sense. I didn't know the test can identify the type of wolf, so I was extra-pleased to see that they were able to tell me that his great-grandparent was specifically a Gray Wolf. Their weight prediction was accurate, with his adult weight of 77 lbs falling right in the middle of their range.The kit is easy to use, and the directions are clearly written. Sample collection requires sticking a small round soft bristled brush inside the mouth, rotating it for 15 seconds against the cheek. This must be done twice, with each of two brushes provided. It's probably not an issue for most dogs, but my dog has never been too keen on me sticking stuff in his mouth (no tooth brushing for him), and he's not the type to be forced into anything. (Maybe that's a Chow-Malamute-Wolf thing.) The first two swabs went flying across the room, getting thoroughly contaminated. I contacted customer service, and they were friendly and helpful. They sent me four more brushes and some suggestions on how to get him to accept them. I used one as a training swab, gently brushing him around the mouth and lips with it daily for a few weeks. After much praise and lots of treats, he relaxed and started to enjoy it. One day I broke open two fresh swabs and got the samples without him batting an eye.The mailer is postage paid, so I just dropped it in a mailbox and waited for results online. Results were ready about 2 1/2 weeks from the time they received the samples.I am extremely pleased with the Wisdom Panel 3.0, and look forward to testing my other dog!

Title: Great product
Review: I got this for curiosity purposes since my dog is a mix. The results came quickly. He top 5 breeds are American Staffordshire Terrier, American Pitbull Terrier, Rottweiler, American Bulldog, and Cocker Spaniel. I'm still scratching my head about the Cocker, but maybe he's just not showing any of the traits...I highly recommend checking this out! It's a bit pricey, but I am glad I invested in it!

Review: Don’t buy if you are in Australia, they don’t service here. They are also impossible to contact for issues, took half a year before I got to someone, who then let me know that our efforts to post to the US were wasted as the sample was nowhere to be found, and that they don’t do this for our area. Not sure if US people or areas have a better experience but this one was not good for us. The two stars is just cause they eventually did give us our money back after much running around and emails.

Review: Mambo was sold as a caboodle, but he looks nothing like a poodle. He is also far too big (22kg) to be a cavoodle. Wisdom Panel results came back showing that Mambo is 37.5 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, 25% Golden Retriever, 12.5% Labrador Retriever, 12.5% Poodle and 12.5% Shih Tzu. (No picture and no information about Mambo given.) The fact that poodle was in Mambo's genes finally justified why he was tagged as a cavoodle. The strong retriever component also made sense in view of his built. Now everytime someone asks what breed is Mambo, I can give a definitive answer. Really cool product, thank you! =D
