Title: Perfect Fit and Escape Proof!!!!!
Review: The Gooby Escape Free Easy Fit Harness is exactly what I needed for both of my small dogs who are escape artists and my big dog who scares easily at sudden or loud noises. The design is brilliant—I love the martingale-style cinch - it’s secure but comfortable, and my pups can’t wriggle out of it like other harnesses I’ve tried. The step-in style makes it quick and easy to put on, which is a big plus when you’re dealing with an excited pup!The harness is lightweight but durable, with soft padding that doesn’t irritate the skin. I also appreciate the range of colors, as it’s nice to have something both functional and stylish. Our walks have been so much easier and worry-free with this harness. Highly recommend for small dog owners, especially if you’ve had issues with other harnesses! But we big dog owners can enjoy the security and ease this harness provides. Every walk is now a joy!

Title: BEST harness for.small dogs
Review: First off, i have 5 dogs, so harness is extremely important for my dogs and tbh, my safety. However, like everything, not all harness aes alike & ive tried A lot ! Goobys are the BEST! They are comfortable for your dog to wear, easy to put on & i love that it haa just a bit of give bcz it helps with tugging I also bought the matching leashes which i alsoLove. The leashes have rubber grib handles ao there is no slipping fromYour hands

Title: Lightweight, comfortable, and effective. Great harness! Review with sizing tips
Review: This is a great harness. The material is sturdy, but it's still very lightweight and comfortable; my dog is able to freely run in it.With the right size, this harness also functions like a martingale collar in that the more you (or the dog) pull on the leash, the tighter it gets around the body. That mechanism helps prevent the dog from slipping out.I've attached photos to show how different sizes fit on a small fluffy dog that weighs 18 pounds and has a chest circumference of about 19 inches (18.5 inches if the tape measure is pulled tight).The small size harness did fit, barely, but I would've had to pull the harness even tighter in order to bring the two ends of the leash rings together to clip on the leash -- that is, for normal wear. (Just FYI, the circumference of the harness is about 21 inches here.) Also, I could tell that the harness sides were too small and uncomfortable on my dog.So the Small size was just too small and too tight and uncomfortable for my dog. I had originally tried this size because I was concerned about excess slack making the leash ring ends flop around, but the small harness left no slack at all.The medium size fits perfectly. You can see in the photo that there's enough slack to pull the harness tighter when needed, but otherwise, the harness fits comfortably while he is relaxed.The large size also did fit, but you can see in the photo that the harness fits loosely even with the adjustable belts at the smallest lengths. That meant the harness couldn't be pulled any tighter to prevent the dog from slipping out. Plus the leash ring end belts would easily flop around.So, based on this experience, my dog's 19 inch chest was at the very end but within the limits of the Small size range; in the middle of the Medium range; and just below the range for Large. The Medium size harness fit the best, and it was also the only one that allows the harness to function like it's supposed to.Overall, I highly recommend this harness. Just make sure you get the right size for your pup. I just wish it was a bit more affordable and that it had a ring on the front for attaching ID tags.

Title: Great fit!
Review: This is a great fit for my Cavalier King Charles, she's usually wears between a size S or M. The medium was perfect for her 21" girth.For the cost I am disappointed that it frayed so soon with no cause. That's the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star. I am going to order another.

Title: Secure Harness
Review: This is actually the second Gooby Easy Fit harness I have purchased, for my second dog. The harness is well made and my dog cannot escape. It adjusts easily and fits perfectly. I purchased the medium size for both my 21 and 16 pound dogs. It is easy to put on and take off and it is a true red, which easily matches the leash.

Title: NOT Escape proof for small dog
Review: I purchased this a while ago for light walking (as I had an enclosed yard) of my ‘houdini’ rescue pup, a chiweenie. I am only now frustrated enough to share my review. I recently moved and now need to walk both of my dogs multiple times a day.The plus is it is easy to put on and seems comfortable for dog. However, even though the fit is good, he has to be watched like a hawk on every single walk so he will not back out. In their instructions, in order to be escape proof, they say to make sure to maintain pressure on harness. Well, walking two dogs at the same time and picking up the poos, while trying to keep pressure on my ‘houdini’. He has slipped his harness so many times, including on the nearby county highway I live next to, that I am just lucky to still have my pup.Maybe this would be escape proof for a large long-legged dog?One star. It is a fail.

Title: These are great harnesses!
Review: My dog has been using this style harness for years and it's still in good shape--it's a proven winner so now I've purchased another, this bright orange version for the fall season. My guy is about 17 pounds, a low-rider terrier mix who takes a size M. Keep it properly adjusted and hold the leash vertically when needed to stop the dog from backing out and it works great and is gentle. I've been using it every single day for years. Well made, lightweight and nicely padded with a neoprene chest, buckles have held up. Thank you, Gooby, for a great product!

Review: This is a fantastic harness! I have a French Bulldog and he is the fussiest dog I have ever met when it comes to wearing a harness...I literally have 15 failures ahead of this one. Review: My pug managed to escape from 2 harnesses prior to trying this one, which a friend recommended. We've been using it for 2 weeks now and she's not managed to wriggle out of it yet! She is still a pup and quite wary of new places and situations so spends a fair bit of time dragging back, but this harness has held tight. I'm a Gooby convert and have recommended the brand to a number of others!
