Title: Almost makes me want to cut my dog's nails
Review: I am a nurse. I have done trauma, transplant, OR and the emergency room.But when it comes to clipping my dogs nails? I am a complete wimp.When I was young I remember doing my pup's nails and I snipped to far.He cried, he bled, I cried. It was traumatic for both of us.I do rescue and foster. All of them are super active.Except one who is sick with Valley Fever. And her nails grow like crazy!I bought these to help cut her nails.Everyone has told me how easy and safe it is.It looks simple and I still couldn't.It is my goal for next year

Title: Only good for large dogs
Review: These are very heavy duty clippers. They'd be great for large dogs but the blades are too thick for me to feel comfortable using on my small dogs. The light helps reveal the quick with white nails (not black) but it would be more effective if the light were positioned under the nail instead of on the side.

Review: My dog does NOT like having his nails trimmed, so it's important for me to have strong and sharp clippers so we can get through it as quickly as possible.âï¸These have a good comfortable gripâï¸ They're sharp and cut thick nails with no crushing or breakingâï¸ They have a guard to prevent you from cutting too deeply if the dog movesâï¸ They have a lock to keep them closed and protect the blades when not in useâï¸ They have a bright light that helps to see the quick and light the paws so you don't catch hairsThese are as good as any clippers I've ever used. I do appreciate the guard to prevent deep cuts as my dog does push and pull his leg as I'm trying to trim. It's not a guarantee that you won't ever cut too much and cause some bleeding, so always keep styptic powder handy to stop it if it happens.I'm really pleased with these clippers and don't hesitate to recommend them.
