Title: A great toothpaste my cats love and a toothbrush I love
Review: (Please see an update at the end of my review.)I’ve used CET Virbac Toothpaste in the poultry flavor for more than a decade. I’ve never had a cat that didn’t love this flavor. It works well and makes toothbrushing much more tolerable for cats like mine who are used to having their teeth brushed. CET Virbac is a brand that many vets sell and recommend to clients, which is why I first started using its toothpaste and toothbrushes with my own cats. I would have a very hard time brushing their teeth without the help of this toothpaste!I have never liked silicone finger brushes, or any brush with silicone bristles, so I have no use for the finger toothbrush that’s included in this kit.The dual-head toothbrush in the kit, on the other hand, is one of my favorites for my cats’ teeth. I only use the smaller, compact side of the toothbrush for my cats’ little mouths. It’s very soft and has a low-profile that allows it to fit in the small space between a cat’s cheek and gums.Unfortunately, I haven’t yet found what I would call a ‘perfect’ cat toothbrush, and I think I’ve tried almost everything. Right now, I’m using two different toothbrushes on each of my cats to get the job done, this brush and the Nyanko Mind Up Cat Toothbrush, also sold on Amazon, which is quite tiny and allows me to get to areas in their mouths that I can’t quite reach with the CET Virbac brush.I’d tell anyone who might ask that brushing a pet’s teeth regularly really is worth the effort (for me it is, anyway). I would not recommend brushing an adult pet’s teeth without first having its mouth checked by a vet, though. Brushing could cause pain or even do some damage if there’s an existing dental issue. So please first check with your vet and get the go ahead before you start brushing. You can also get some great tips from your vet to make toothbrushing work for both you and your pet. Nobody has to get hurt, including the person doing the brushing! After checking with your vet, I think you’ll find CET Virbac products incredibly useful like I have for so many years. 🐱Update: After writing my review I opened a recent purchase of one of these toothbrush and toothpaste kits. At a glance, everything looks identical. Sadly, the toothbrush has changed. The new toothbrush's bristles aren't as soft. I found the bristles to be a little too firm for my cat's mouth. So although I continue to use CET Virbac's poultry flavor toothpaste, I've stopped using the toothbrush that comes with this kit. I still use the Nyanko Mind Up Cat toothbrushes I mentioned in my original review, but I've replaced CET Virbac toothbrushes with Colgate Kids My First Toothbrush for babies 0-2 years. The bristles are soft and can be softened even more by soaking the head of the toothbrush for 30 seconds in a cup of hot water.CET Virbac, please go back to using the same soft bristles in your dual-head toothbrush that your customers loved!

Title: Virbac toothpaste is a treat to my kitten.
Review: My 5 month old kitten loves to chew on the double-sided toothbrush, like a treat (she loves the flavor.). The smaller brush is better for her size. The clear piece has become a toy (it is for a larger pet, like a dog). A good investment for dental hygiene!

Title: Used for >13years with 5 dogs
Review: I wish the toothpaste was sealed but it wasn’t. It was fresh and fine in the kit with the brush and finger thing toothbrush is much weaker than it used to be. I have my old dog’s brush and the new one. My 10wk old puppy nearly destroyed the new one on 2min of chomping to get used to toothbrushing. But she loves the flavor. I’ve had 5 dogs use this product (the toothpaste— NOT the gel!) for over 13 years with great teeth. Rawhide chews and soup bones help so much y vet said my dogs had the nicest teeth she’s ever seen of all her patients in all her years. Recommended but use the finger thing with caution at first they will chomp it to get used to the feeling of toothbrushing for awhile u til they’ll sit for a brush.

Title: Product is EXCELLENT, our cat is a little difficult!
Review: We adopted a feral cat from a shelter about a year ago. We took her to a vet for a complete check up and she needed the tartar removed from her teeth. It was way more expensive than getting my teeth cleaned so we went online to Amazon and decided on "Virbac C.E.T. Oral Hygiene Kit for Cats and Dogs". First, you never really get a feral cats complete trust. My Husband squirted some of the paste on the finger brush and attempted to get it near her teeth. It's been a few weeks now and our cat loves the taste and consistency of the poultry flavored paste so while she's busy licking it off the finger brush, my Husband brushes what tooth surfaces he can get to. This is an Enzymatic Toothpaste with 30,000 ratings. Our cat has had zero issues with it, she loves the stuff. We are going to keep using this and see what the vet says on her next check up!

Title: My dogs LOVE this dental kit esp. the toothpaste
Review: Purchased several times for my two dogs, a Lab and a Corgi. Both of them absolutely love the taste, which makes brushing time so much easier. Instead of resisting, they now look forward to it, and it has significantly reduced the stress for all of us. It's great to see their excitement when I bring out the toothpaste! Also, the dual end is super convenient and allows me to easily switch between brushing my lab's larger teenth and my corgi's smaller one. Highly recommend it!

Review: A mi perro le encanta. Desde cachorro la empecé a usar y le gusta mucho. Las de sabor a menta o hierbabuena si se la come pero no se emociona como con esta. Lo entrene a subirse a la cama, ponerse panza arriba y esperar que lo cepille así que en cuanto me ve que tomo el cepillo y le pongo pasta tira un salto para esperar que lo cepille. Es café sabor pollo por si siguen con la duda. No es pasta humana blanca o verde olor menta. El hocico no le huele mal, se los cepillo a diario. Aún así he notado unos puntos de sarro ya lo llevaré al veterinario a ver por qué es esto. De todas formas piensen que esto lo crea un laboratorio, eso lo hace una mucho mejor opción que marcas que solo venden cosas para perros como fancypets. No cambiaria este producto por ningún otro.
