This is a 3-Chamber pillow. The center chamber is filled with goose feather, which provides great, resilient support. The outer chambers are filled with 575 loft goose down, which adds some softness and luxury to the pillow.

Down Perfect pillows combine the firmness of feather with the softness of down for the best of both worlds! The outer shell of this pillow is crisp, durable 255 thread count cotton. The inner chamber is made of nylon and keeps the feather core contained. This Firm support is very full and substantive. They make up about 90% of the total fill weight and give this pillow its excellent support.

Down adds a soft buffer against the feather

Support Level

Firm support. This support level works well for side sleepers or those who are taller and broader. While this pillow works for some, more people prefer the Medium support version

How does a feather pillow compare to a down or down alternative pillow?

This is a feather and down pillow, but feather comprises the bulk of the fill!

Look and Feel of the fill: Feathers consist of a hard quill shaft with a series of fibers extending from each side. Down has no quill. It consists of clusters of light, fluffy filaments growing from a central point. Microfiber down alternative is a fluffy cloud-like substance made up of very fine polyester strands.Loft: Down quality is measured by loft (AKA fill power). This measurement is not used for feather or microfiber products.Support Level: Feather provides excellent, resilient support due to the springy quills. Down, by contrast, provides very little support. The small, delicate clusters sink down significantly with the weight of the head. Microfiber is plush like down, but it’s denser and traps less air. Therefore, it is able to provide more support than a down pillow, but less than a feather pillow.

What type of pillow works best for your sleeping style? For the most comfortable sleep, you want to try to achieve even neck alignment. Here are some general guidelines to start from:

Side sleepers tend to need the most support. Side sleepers can benefit from firmer-style pillows, like firm support feather or Down Perfect pillows.Front sleepers tend to need the least support. Front sleepers usually prefer softer, flatter-style pillows, like soft or medium support down pillows.Back sleepers and combination sleepers need moderate support. They usually benefit from microfiber pillows, fuller down pillows or flatter feather pillows.

Title: Perfect for side sleepers
Review: This firm queen size pillow has been the answer for my neck pain and stiffness from cervical stenosis.All of the specialized cervical pillows I've tried have been too firm and gave me earaches, which caused me to toss and turn.This has enough softness to cushion my ears but enough firmness to keep my neck aligned. The down breathes well so I don't get overheated or sweat like with foam pillows.Made in Canada and responsibility sourced too.

Title: Nice quality....not as firm as I hoped or led to believe from the advertisement
Review: I bought these to replace some other down/feather pillows I had purchased on Amazon that were wonderful but needed replaced. I was glad these pillows were Canadian and not Chinese. And I was glad they didn't come rolled up or the air sucked out of them (ones like that can't ever be really firm because rolling them does not allow for a proper fill). These were the most expensive pillows I had bought to date. And I had high hopes that I had finally found proper replacements. BUT they just aren't really firm....more like a medium firm....and I am disappointed. The instructions say to give them a few days and I will. But my old ones came firm, stayed firm and needed no time period. I won't send them back because they are the best option I have found so far. But I am bummed.

Title: Great pillow for side sleeper
Review: I love sleeping on down pillows but they never support my neck well enough as a side sleeper. Then I realized most high end hotel pillows are a combination of down and feathers. The firmness and structure of the added feathers in this pillow give me the support I need as a side sleeper. Highly recommend

Review: Have had this pillow in the firm model for about 9 months. Pillow was good for about 7 months after that it became very flat during the night. Could use it if I put it in the dryer every morning to fluff it up, however now the feathers are now poking through Would be great if held up for a longer period of time

Review: Very fast shipping! Ive slept on pillow 2 nights now. very comfortable and i havent woke up with stiff neck and headache! Title: Just what I was looking for
Review: Pillows are deceiving as they tend to look alike. Even the descriptions tend to be nebulous. For example looking for a pillow for side sleepers you would think would be self explanatory, but it ends up being trial and error. So I took a chance and put a pillow protector over this one, then pillow case, and gave it 3 nights try. So far so good and will keep it.

Review: This pillow is so uncomfortable. I’m not fussy with pillows but do have some neck pain recently so decided to replace my pillow and bought this one. My head is pounding and my neck pain is much worse. It’s hard to describe but it just doesn’t lay properly and I found myself up a hundred times adjusting it so the fluff was under my head.
