Review: These are great quality and blend well! I love the package and how durable it is to store these in and the product is wonderful. There are lots of colors and they work well with water. I use them on watercolor paper and they blend well and have a great hue to them, even after they dry.

Review: Beautiful watercolor pencils. Colors true to pigment. Lay down nicely as watercolor even in a cheap coloring book. The plain brush is a waste. Best if used with a water brush. Great for the price.

Title: Great watercolor pencils at a reasonable price
Review: I wasn’t expecting much for this low price, but I just needed to have some extra colors in addition to the better quality small set I already own. After experimenting with these, I can see a definite difference in the vibrancy of the colors, depending on how they are used. If the color is laid down first (wet on dry) and then brushed with water, they dry fairly light. If you wet your watercolor paper first and then lay down the color (dry on wet), the colors are much more vibrant (see photo). Overall, these watercolor pencils are not bad at all and certainly a good value for the low price. It’s nice that they also included a water brush.

Title: Beautiful Colored Pencils! Read this for info on how to sharpen them
Review: I really like these watercolor pencils. They are beautiful and work well for layering color. I only used them as regular colored pencils; I didn’t use water. I will try using them as watercolor pencils soon, but for the project I was working on, using them as regular colored pencils worked great.I did have some trouble sharpening them, but figured out how to do it:First, use a sharpener that works for colored pencils. Eye pencil - beauty sharpeners usually work well for colored pencils; regular sharpeners eat them up.Second, the proper way to sharpen (so the pencil doesn’t keep breaking) is to hold the pencil in front of you steady in your right hand. Hold the sharpener in front of you with your left hand and insert the pencil into it. Then slowly turn the sharpener towards you (clock-wise); do NOT turn the pencil!There are YouTube videos demonstrating this technique. Hope this helps!

Review: I really like these pencils ! I know nothing about art, but I wanted some pencils that does not leave marks when coloring. The watercolor effect is really satisfying. It may not be very appropriate for coloring books since it needs adding water, and the paper will crinkle a bit, but I love the results.
