The microfiber strands trap and hold dust instead of just pushing it around and it does so without the need for cleaning chemicals. The soft, comfortable handle and light, fluffy head make it easy to dust picture frames, knick-knacks and other delicate items. Title: works great at first
Review: I really liked this duster the first few times I used it, but seems to wear out quickly. It isn't nearly as effective now as when I bought it. I tried washing it. It helps a little, but it takes a long time to completely dry. Also, don't wash it in hot water as the glue holding the duster in will melt and the duster will fall out.

Review: But only slightly. Some dust still goes flying. But a lot of it sticks. I love that it's washable and my cat's don't eat it. I'm a housekeeper and I've had to replace to many feather dusters bc of my cats

Review: This is well worth the price if you read reviews of cheaper versions! Usual OXO quality; no strands have detached. Quite a large head with hundreds of strands, but can be squeezed through smaller gaps when cleaning more robust items like TV, bookcases etc. Incredibly good for complex light fittings, shades and items with variable gaps / mouldings; saves time not having to thread dusters. This is sad, but you actually look forward to cleaning. (Note to self: “Must get out more”)
