Title: Outstanding
Review: I'm an old-time cook and I know all about Le Creuset, which I love, but this product is the equal for sure. The glaze and overall craftsmanship are just stunning. I've only made a Pot Roast in it, but the results were perfect. I made that on the stovetop using a NuWave induction unit. This "oven" is so nice to look at that I have it out on display in my kitchen. It's big, and it's heavy, but that's to be expected. You don't have to fill it (and I didn't) but I love having the extra space in it for vegetables. I like the "dimpled" lid (underneath) which does do a great job basting throughout the cooking process.Just treat it right and I know it will last forever. More than pleased with it. It's a treasure. To Larder and Vine: keep up the quality control. And your colors are gorgeous.

Title: Really nice for the price!
Review: I've got lots of the French version of these pots and yes they are way overpriced. I wanted a giant Dutch oven but didn't wanna spend hundreds on it as I'd only use it every other month. This one is really beautifully made. It's really pretty and very nicely enameled. Not much different from the expensive stuff at all.Only thing I would question is that the entire bottom is enameled too so it will slip around on the counter. I'm not sure how well the bottom enamel will hold up slamming this thing around on gas grates or the oven grates.Would be great on a glass topped stove and/or maybe wanna place it on a sheet pan in the oven to keep from chipping the enamel. The French versions all have non-enameled bottoms which can be pretty scratchy. The lid knob feels a little cheap too. If it bugs you I suppose you could spend 25 bucks and replace it with an OEM French version knob (and still save a few hundred bucks 😉).Be sure to keep the plastic inserts that separate the lid from the pot (they prevent chipping the enamel edge if you're moving the pot around or while storing it). Obviously don't use them when cooking.

Title: My first dutch oven
Review: Can't really compare to others since this is my first one. Works nice. Easy to clean. A little rust on the unsealed part already so be careful. There are blue specs throughout the white porcelain. I cannot get them off...the lid handle can come off after a few uses...1 star off for this.

Title: I wanted soooo badly to love these…
Review: I bought these as a dupe to Le Creuset… and I shouldn’t have. When they arrived, I was super impressed by the color and what I thought was quality… Even though one cast iron skillet was chipped upon arrival.. I just shrugged that off and thought- oh well. Things happen in shipping. I immediately had them replace it and I gave them a clean slate so that I could see how these pans were going to work. I was excited because these pieces are heavy and just felt so well made! But… to my surprise.. just a hair after the return window closed, my pans started falling apart. You should know that I took care of these pots and pans as if they were ticking time bombs. I hand washed only. I did medium to low heat… I left them on my stove to cool down before washing… if I had to stack any of them, it would only be done with a fluffy towel between both pots or pans… they NEVER ONCE saw the inside of a dishwasher or a single metal cooking tool. I used silicone only…. And they still scratched (as pictured) and also stained!!!! I was so upset. I paid nearly $600 for the entire “set”. I purchased one of every pot and pan that Larder and vine made, and I purchased 2 of their cast iron enameled skillets... Even the cast iron skillets started to perform weirdly! I am normally someone who cooks on cast iron pretty regularly… so it’s not like I don’t know how to season a pan, oil it before cooking, etc. Possibly the biggest disappointment of all was when I contacted Larder and vine & was met with “this doesn’t ever happen” and “we test our pans with tomato sauce and don’t have staining issues”…. They acted as if I were being dishonest and they were pretty insulting. …Which, what they said was sort of funny, because tomato sauce is exactly what stained mine 🙃 They told me I’d need to contact Larder and Vine off of the actual website and have them fix it… so I did. The customer service agent from their site said that they would need photographs (which I have) and that they wouldn’t let me return it, they’d only be willing to replace it. I guess that’s fine if you’re not as fed up with these pans as I am… but for me, that’s not okay. I wanted to send back the entire set and try my luck with something better… from an entirely different brand and hopefully better customer service if I end up needing it. Thankfully, Amazon made it right. Larder and Vine wouldn’t let me return it, but Amazon allowed me to return them for a full refund. Overall, I do not recommend this to anyone. Either bite the bullet and go for Le Creuset… or go with something entirely different! Larder and Vine will make getting your money back very hard on you… and your $600 set of pans should last longer than 1 month past the return date.

Title: Great! Great! Great!
Review: Love this oven! Puts the crock pot to shame. Just made a pot roast in it, yesterday a loaf of bread, great heat distribution, the lid fits with no movement or wobble. Seals in the flavor. Best Paige of cookware I own. It is a little pricey it well worth it. Very heavy duty not to mention beautiful! 5 stars all day!

Title: Well made dutch oven
Review: The Dutch oven arrived well packaged and free of defects. As this was my first time cooking with a dutch oven, I followed a recommended recipe from the Larder and Vine website which was easy to follow and turned out delicious. I am very happy with my newest piece of cookware and looking forward to trying more recipes in it.

Review: Been scrubbing for 30 mins. Cannot get the baked on spaghetti bog off the bottom. Only used it once and it is like it in not enamelled. Only used silicone utensils. And a the scrub daddy can't move it.I guess you get what you pay for. Back to the more expensive known brand for me.
