Title: Best kindle for the average person and a nice upgrade
Review: The 7inch screen and increased speed of responsiveness is a nice improvement over the last generation of paper white. In my opinion, the paper white is the best kindle for the money. The basic is a bit too small, the signature has some nice but unneeded features, the color soft you are paying another 100+ for color when the vast majority of books don’t have colored pictures, and the scribe is more of a notebook. So if you want the most practical one for your money, go with the paper white. Not sure why people complain about not having more buttons. It’s perfect without extra buttons.

Title: Screen looks more like paper, page turns feel instant, it's slimmer, less headaches
Review: I didn't realize how much the prior screen tech was impacting my eyes. This new edition helps immensely with eye strain and headaches. I am not good at remembering to wear my blue light glasses for reading, and this Kindle accommodates. It's thin and lightweight enough to feel like a small paperback, which makes my neurodivergent brain very happy. The back is nice and smooth. I added a popsocket to it and it's a wonderful fit. This is a sustainable way for me to read electronically. My tablet was causing massive headaches and is much too bulky. My hand was hurting badly. This Kindle weighs about as much as a paperback too, so the feeling is similar. I am not swiping my finger to turn the page? I just tap it. It's the same software lol? The only added feature is a scrolling mechanism on the home page which is wonderful.I am comparing this one to the last version as my last version was wonderful but began to glitch and run very slowly. It would ruin my reading experience. This is a massive upgrade and I am happy I got the Paperwhite. I don't even know if I need to get a clear case, as it feels protected?I was nervous the color would distract from the reading but you can barely see it, so it really just acts as a tiny border around the book, which is quite fun.The packaging was a single cardboard box, which made me very happy as it was easy to open and there was no unnecessary plastic use. Will be sending my old Kindle back for the trade-in, as this is wonderful!I know everyone misses the Oasis and wants page turn buttons. I never experienced buttons, so this isn't an issue for me personally. I am sorry to the Oasis fans.I really love this Kindle though, I gotta admit. I'll be in book world until further notice!Yes I blurred out the serial number etc, as I do not want to share that info lol. It does have the serial number and whatnot imprinted on the back though.

Title: Freezes up on the tree screen and becomes nothing more than a paperweight
Review: Traded in my older Kindle on the new Paperwhite, and about 3 months after I got it, it locked up on the tree screen and has been there ever since. I have tried all the different steps to get it to restart, but no matter what, it just stays locked up on this screen. Wish I had never upgraded, as I'm not only out this Kindle, but also my original, functioning one as well, and now I am too afraid to spend the money to buy another one, just to have it lock up as well.

Title: Perfect considering today technology.
Review: I have been using my old Kindle Paperwhite 3rd generation (2015 model) for many years and figured it was time to upgrade. Wow what a difference almost a decade makes. Slightly bigger in physical size, and weight but thinner than Gen 3. Viewable screen size is much bigger. Clarity is improved, and this thing is very fast for menu navigation and page turns. The biggest game changer for me was the changeable background color as I can adjust it to a more natural almost white color which I could not do with the old kindle paperwhite. Add that feature with improved clarity and it makes a big difference especially if you read in the dark which I do a lot as part of my bedtime daily routine. I say "Perfect considering today technology" because the only flaw I can find is this thing is just like all tablets in that it attracts finger prints much more then my old kindle. That is due to the fact that the old kindle had a physical plastic (non screen) frame that you would hold it by so you never touched the screen on it. Not a big deal to me but something I noticed.

Title: Game changer for me!
Review: I’ll preface by saying this is my first experience with any type of Kindle or e-reader so I don’t have anything else to compare it to, but I absolutely love it so far! I recently got back into reading and have traditionally preferred a physical book, but after a few recent vacations, I’m realizing how much of an effort it is to have to pack a heavy book with you. This is so lightweight, easy to transport, and doesn’t have the same harsh glare/brightness as my phone which sometimes can cause me eye strain after a while if I’m reading from the Kindle app.I see people mentioning that the screen is too yellow for their liking, but I personally don’t think so and prefer the warmth anyway. The contrast is excellent even on lower brightness and the device is super easy to navigate.Looking forward to getting more use out of it!

Title: Love it!!!
Review: I’ve been wanting a kindle for ages but could never get myself to make the leap to buy one. Upon seeing the new ones come out I finally convinced myself and I am so glad I did! I love the lightweight feeling, it doesn’t put strain on my eyes, and it’s the perfect size! I see a lot of people have issues with no buttons but I honestly love being able to just swipe or tap the screen to go to the next page. Battery life seems super so far, 30 minutes of reading and only went down by 1%. Can’t wait to keep using it!
