Title: Best e-reader I've used... to this point!
Review: So far, all good. Insofar as meeting my needs what I desire in any e-reader.This reader is now my preferred to all I've tried/used previously.I cannot think of any additional features I would want, or add.

Title: Great e-reader
Review: this e-reader is a great eye relief at the end of the day and helps me read more.the screen is big enough for manga. a bit small for western comics, but feasible. long battery life - 1 week of active use and up to a month with no-so-active use.cons:- can't import custom dictionaries- the e-ink color screen doesn't have high ppi (you'll see pixels), I guess it's common for colored e-ink- sometimes works weirdly with the pocketbook smart cover (the screen doesn't sleep)

Title: Everything I've always wanted in an e-reader
Review: I capital-L LOVE this reader! It's everything I've always wanted from my Kindles but never got.Pros:The light is bright and easily adjustableE-ink technology ensures perfect readabilityColor e-ink for graphics, graphic novels, or illustrations in ebooksNot tied to Amazon - you own your content and can get it from any sourceOnboard storage ready for thousands of booksAudio and other functions not found on standard KindleEasy to use and NO ADS anywhere in the interfaceCons:I guess there could be more options for cases? All in all this is one of the greatest purchases I've ever made. I love it and recommend it to anyone considering an e-reader. If you decide against it let me know, I have some old Kindle readers I don't need anymore.

Title: Product does not work.
Review: Purchased as a gift and immediately the device says it’s unable to charge. Multiple attempts were made to troubleshoot both software and hardware problems. When the device was plugged into a computer and used to open a e-book, it would crash. Pocketbook customer support was not able to help and said to return it to Amazon.

Title: Syncs Sideloaded Books
Review: Reader is pretty good. Best part for me was that it syncs sideloaded books with the cloud. This allows easy resuming on my iPhone when I’m on the go.Colors are alright. Can’t be compared to iPad or computers. Must closely resembles the colors found in the comics in the newspaper, especially if the newspaper has sat in the sun for day.Color temperature light is great. Doesn’t automatically follow the sun like kindle does. However, it allows you to build a schedule for both the brightness and temp to adjust automatically. Vertical swipes on the left adjusts temp and vertical swipes on the right side adjust brightness. It does have page turn buttons, but they are awkwardly placed. Nook is the best for having buttons on both sides.Reader is a little slow, especially when looking up definitions. Comparable to Kobo/nook/kindle of 2017-2019.

Title: Been looking for a color e-reader
Review: I've been looking and looking for a color e-reader that will offer at least a semblance of the color my wife's mini iPad offers. All I want is the ability to see things like graphic novels in full color, download books from the Internet (and possibly, pick them up via emails I send to myself with the books attached), and transfer via USB from my computer (PC) to the reader.Oh - and have it be intuitive and relatively brainless.Who would have thought, in an age of such tech glory, that this would be impossible to find? The pros on this: Weight is low. Screen feels like it's sturdy. Easy to charge. Once I realized I had to go through the steps on the reader rather than read any real directions, it was easy to set up. Wifi capability is good.Cons: The color is horrible. I don't know why it's getting good reviews anywhere because most of the color is covered with a brownish hue. Lots of browns and reds, a bit of blue, next to no yellows, oranges, greens. The color was so disturbing that by the time I finished looking at a couple of things, I was already resolved to send it back. Not intuitive, not even remotely. You might think consulting the extremely small directions would help but no. All those directions do is tell you where various things are located - back and forward buttons, home button, on off button. I have to say that I found the placement of the back/forth buttons extremely awkward. Having everything facing me, black tabs on black plastic, made it very difficult to see or do anything quickly while I was reading. Then, transferring from a PC to the Pocketbook. I had to join Pocketbook's something-or-other. Then, I could email myself books if I figured out how to set up the file I think I needed in order to have somewhere for the books to land. Look, I'm pretty tech savvy; I've spent my life working with technology. But I could not figure this out for the longest time. i wound up having to find directions from another source on line. Even then, it was far from seamless, and it took forever. The most annoying thing, though, was the amount of garbage on the machine that was completely unnecessary. You would think, on a color e-reader, it would be easy to find a spot where you could adjust the hue, wouldn't you? Not so much. The only adjustments I could find after much searching were to make the screen night-friendlier, or brighten/darken it.The much vaunted automatic night and automatic brightness left the screen too dark to read from, and the pinching a la iPads to make the font bigger or smaller was abrupt and annoying - either too much or too little. Unlike a computer mouse, there was no way to slow the response time or action down.Speaking of response time, there's also an annoyingly long lag when you do pinch the screen to change the font size - and then, a white screen for a moment or two - and then, finally, your new font size.Given Kindle's share of the market, I would have thought a smart company like Pocketbooks would work at doing what the Kindle Fire does, only simply as an e-reader, and better. Instead, it's worse.A real shame. This is a very expensive piece of equipment, and should be better. Two stars just because it is in color. Sort of.

Title: Online Features No Longer Work
Review: I wanted to love this, I really did. Unfortunately, the ability to email myself books and use the cloud for documents just isn't possible. Both on their website, the android app and on the tablet, you aren't able to create an account anymore. Even on their website, the USA is removed as an option for a location. It's really too bad because they made a decent tablet, albeit way way way slower than the kindle paperwhite. I liked it overall, but have to return it because I just don't always have access to a PC to upload my docs. Should they fix this in the future, I'd consider buying it again.

Review: A cool device, but for me a little bit to slow. It's really magic with the colors, and the reading experience is great. But overall a bit laggy, I know all e-readers are slowish but I prefer an iPad.

Review: I chose POCKETBOOK because of the variety of supported files. So I'm not limited by libraries. When you get used to books, the manufacturer is not important, but only whether or not you can read the book. I read a lot and in different languages. And I have encountered such problems before
