Title: I love it!
Review: - The texts are very crisp and clear.- Battery life is very good. I've had it for more than a month already and only had to charge it twice. I read a lot.- It's very light. Doesn't strain my hands/wrists even during prolonged use.- It's really nice to be able to adjust screen brightness just by swiping on the left side of the screen.- This has Kindle Paperwhite features in a Kindle Basic body. I love it!- The only downside for me is I have to connect it to my computer (thru calibre) or my mobile phone (thru type c cable) to sideload books. The send.djazz.se is somehow not working for my device. The delivery, however, is another story, it was delivered 2 WEEKS AFTER the estimated delivery date. I had to coordinate with multiple Amazon CSRs just to have it shipped. It took a month for my order to be delivered to me (I am in the Philippines).

Title: Great eReader, easily the best choice on the market currently
Review: I got this for my step-daughter as an alternative to getting a Kindle since she was going to be mostly side-loading PDFs, epubs and comics. Kindles are less friendly for loading your content, since they're designed to consume books bought from Amazon. It has the newest generation of eInk screen, the Carta 1300 vs Carta 1200 which is in most of the other B&W readers available.During my initial test drive to make sure it was a reasonable alternative to a Kindle Paperwhite I was impressed by how snappy the UI was, and how much more user-friendly it was than the Kindle. I put a CBZ file directly onto it and it worked without issue - which isn't something the Kindle can do. End result was a big win - cheaper than Paperwhite and all positive differences during use.The biggest surprise? While trying it out, I liked it so much more than the current-gen Paperwhite that I started looking for a Kobo for myself to supplement / possibly replace my Paperwhite.I'd recommend the Clara BW to anyone looking for a compact eReader. I didn't notice a size difference between the 6" screen on the Clara BW vs the 6.8" Paperwhite screen.Only downside of the Kobo is case/cover selection. Kindles have less expensive, good-quality first-party cases. Kobo's first-party cases are good, but limited choices and are more expensive than the Amazon-branded Kindle cases. The aftermarket cases for the Kobos are hit or miss on quality or fit.

Title: Great eReader!
Review: I did a little bit of research and ended up on this ereader. I have to say I am super happy with it, it is exactly what i wanted. The screen is nice, the interface is nice, I love being able to use Libby, side loading books is easy, battery life is long. If you want something other than a kindle.. get this.

Title: Amazing e-Reader!!! Well worth the cash!!
Review: I was skeptical at first when it came to reading books off an e-reader. I love the feel of having a physical book in hand and turning pages but reading off these books is amazing. The ability to change light settings and brightness is great for reading at night. As you can tell from the video, it’s quick and responsive when it comes to turning pages or going to the menu or switching settings. The weight of the device itself is pretty light. The plastic it is constructed from feels sturdy. At first it felt and looked cheap but I’ve dropped it once from 3ft and it did not get a single scuff. It is waterproof since I’ve taken it into a pool and got zero damage. The screen itself also feels sturdy.Battery life itself has proven to last quite some time. I charge it almost every two weeks and I do heavy reading on it (3-4hrs a day). I did play with the settings a bit on separate occasions, once the battery only lasted barely a week and a half and the other time it went over 2 weeks. The device itself has never overheated and I don’t see why it should.Storage space wise. There is no way I will ever fill up 32gb worth of books. I currently have 8 books loaded up on it and they’re all 5-20mb in size, with another 7 loaded up to be transferred. When it comes to loading books onto the device, you can easily plug it into a computer via the usb-c cable it comes with. Open up the device folder and drag and drop right into it. Once you’ve safely removed the device from the computer, your device will load and it will show your new books. I haven’t bought or tried out anything from the built in store, not sure how it works but looks like you can download an app on your phone, but the books there and then they will download to your device.TLDR: it’s better than a kindle in my opinion. Spend your money on this model and sideload books by drag and drop. Where you get your ebooks is none of my business but there are places where they are free…

Title: Won't Sideload EPub Files, No Send to Device Function
Review: I was hoping that my new Kobo would side-load EPUB files better than my Kindle Paperwhite. Nope! I can't add them without getting their formatting screwed up and all of the images in my books separated in my library as their own separate titles. Also, there is no equivalent of the Send to Kindle function or app, which is frankly an embarrassment. I shouldn't have to doc my Kobo just to get a 1 mb file onto it, especially when it already syncs to wifiI hate Amazon's blatant monopolization of their own E-reader ecosystem, but at least their hardware works. So unfortunately I will be switching back to them.

Title: JUNK. 2 in a row arrived with dead spots in display
Review: First unit came with a single pinhole defect in the light layer of the screen, initiated a return. THE SECOND BRAND NEW REPLACEMENT CAME WITH MULTIPLE PINHOLE/BRIGHT SPOTS IN THE DISPLAY. Absolutely zero quality control from Kobo, now I have 2 useless pieces of junk I need to deal with shipping back.
