Title: Tasty meats every time!
Review: So far all I've cooked is chicken breasts, pork chops and burgers but they have come out perfect every time! I absolutely love this grill. The temp gauge seems to be pretty spot on. It's sear function works great and the next temp down is 450° then 350° and so on. The meats retain their juices and can be easily monitored by a good digital thermostat. The cooking times suggested on the directions are pretty accurate, nothing over or undercooked yet. I've encountered next to no smoke and just use my kitchen fan and crack a kitchen window a bit. I bought this mainly because it can be too hot out to grill or turn on the broiler. Easy to clean up after wuth a brush made for Teflon grills, (Oxo has a good one). Only drawback is the only way to turn it off is to unplug. But to me that's no biggie. All in all I highly recommend this for anyone that wants to grill meats for 2 - 4 people.

Review: I must I wasn't sure if the product works for me. I bought it base on customer review. It is easy to put together. It's easy to hand wash, perfect size for my kitchen. Very light to move and made the best wrlldone steak. I was hoping to buy it on sale but never went on sale. Tomorrow I will grill kabobs. If that turns like steak. This is priceless. During cooking steak there never was any smoke.Definitely great gift for anyone. I highly recommend

Title: Superior, well designed product. A cut above the rest.
Review: Below are several reasons I chose this particular grill. I feel each is important which makes this a superior product in my view.- It sears - does a great job.- It has actual temperature indicators on the dial, not just low-medium-high settings. The settings are 200, 250, 300, 350, 400 and sear (which is 450). This temperature feature gives you greater control.- The unit is 1200 watts (not 1800) which would work great in an RV. It only uses 3 volts according to our meter and 10 amps. And it gets VERY hot.- The lid design is extremely well thought out. First of all - it has one! And with this particular lid design, you will find little difference between this grill and an outdoor grill (other than the quantity of food you can grill at one time on an outdoor grill). In addition to heat retention, the lid is quite high above the grill plate so you don't have to worry about fitting larger, thicker items (such as really large chicken breasts or thick cut steaks and ribs) on the grill. This is the reason I didn't consider the Delonghi Perfecto which received complaints about the lid touching the meat.- It's not a contact grill. This was important because I want to control the cooking - not be controlled by the grill. I want to turn the meat at my discretion and I like to keep the juices in - not have them squeezed out by the weight of a top plate. Then there's that searing thing again (which is great.)- The meat doesn't sit in grease while cooking. Since the grill plate is "slatted" and not solid like our old Presto, this is not a concern just as it is not a concern with an outdoor grill - same design. The grease drains off naturally and falls between the grates into the drip tray.- The heating element is embedded in the grill plate, so no worry about hot and cold spots.- The cleanup is easy enough.- Not overly heavy. Easily transportable.- If important to you, the unit is attractive to leave out on the counter.I feel there is precious little difference between this grill and an outdoor grill when it comes to both design and performance. As I said this grill is plenty HOT - preheat as directed just as with other grills.For us this was a great purchase - well pleased.

Review: I've been using the Hamilton Beach Electric Indoor Searing Grill for a few weeks now, and I'm generally satisfied with its performance.The nonstick coating on the grilling plates is impressive. Food releases easily, and cleanup is a breeze. I've grilled a variety of foods, including steaks, burgers, chicken, and vegetables.The grill delivers a decent sear, and the food tastes great. Setting up the grill is straightforward, and the temperature controls are intuitive.The removable plates make cleaning a quick task. However, I did find that the grill can take a bit longer to preheat than I expected. The grill is compact enough to fit on most countertops, which is a plus. It's perfect for smaller households or apartments. The cooking surface is adequate for a couple of people, but might be a bit small for larger gatherings. I haven't experienced any issues with overheating or smoke. The grill is stable on my countertop. I haven't noticed any wobbling or tipping during use. The only complaint from my husband is that the cord is short. Only reason I gave it a 4. Would give it a 4.5.Overall, it is a solid choice for those looking for a convenient indoor grilling option. While it might not replace an outdoor grill entirely, it's perfect for year-round grilling.

Review: Es como una parrilla eléctrica convencional realmente. Quise hacer un corte de rib eye de 1 pulgada de grueso y si los coció bien pero por ejemplo el gordito queda poco cocido y no lo hace chicharrón. Puse elotes amarillos y los tuve que sacar y meter a mi freidora de aire pues iba muy lento todo y eso que lo tenía en SEAR que es la temperatura más alta. No tiene sabor tipo asador (ahumado). Quizá sea buena opción para carnes delgadas y algunos vegetales pero no para una parrillada tradicional. Las salchichas quedaron crudas aunque por fuera parecían súper cocidas. Lo bueno es que no genera humo para nada y la limpieza es fácil.Si lo que buscas es una experiencia tipo asador con la venataja de ser dentro de casa así como lo anuncian, NO lo recomiendo.

It is very easy to assemble out of the box and very easy to clean.It grills steak quickly on the sear setting and achieves a med rare,juicy steak with nice grill marks and no smoke which is why I bought it.
