Title: I just can't get this to work
Review: This looked great when I first saw it on line. When I received this it looked a bit tall, way taller than any of my cans. Since the opener detaches from the stand, there is no reason to make it so tall and take up more room. The charging light is so bright you can read a newspaper, so I put some blue painters tape on it to tone it down.The first time I tried to open a can it was difficult, and after a few minutes the can was finally open. A week later I tried another can (most of my cans are pop tops), and again I had great difficulty opening the can. After a long struggle it finally opened. The instructions are no help - something about placing the magnet on the can and held against the geared wheel. Then press down. Sound simple? Wrong! I tried the can opener again a week later, and no matter how I tried, no go! Fort Knox would be easier to get into. I grabbed my hand crank can opener and 5 seconds later the job was done. That did it! The opener is going back. I cannot recommend this tool. I can change the oil in my car, thread my week whacker, replace the kitchen faucet, but I can't use this can opener!

Review: Warning to Customers in UK, like me, this is only for use with 110v-120v NOT 220v as in UK ! Therefore have no been able to use it - but fortunately I am moving to 110v country - so hopefully will be able to use it okay then.
