Title: Best Foreman grill I’ve owned!
Review: This is my third George Foreman grill and in my opinion, by far the best one! I had the original behemoth and a smaller two person until we moved last month. Clearly a long time user and lover of this product, there were places on the old models that were too close to the heating implement to clean properly. My two person version was caked with grease in certain areas and the ‘no stick’ surface was so damaged, even with olive oil non aerosol spray, my impossible burgers always stuck. The original was heavy, bulky and the heating/ready light had broken off, but still worked after 20ish years. After several years of wanting this model with REMOVABLE PLATES, I was so excited to finally purchase one (the budget has been unbelievably tight the last few years). I cooked my first burgers last week after the instructed 15 minutes to burn off the coating. The smell isn’t pleasant - I recommend opening windows for sure! That said, the Foreman grill did what it’s supposed to do - cooked my burgers evenly and quickly without all of the fat! There is also a better space to slip the grease tray into for a snug fit. On the older models, often the grease tray would move if you opened the top of the grill for any reason. This tray didn’t budge. Zero stick and a very easy and FAST cleanup! If I could give this grill ten stars I would!

Title: Really good indoor grill, easy to use and to clean due to removable plates
Review: I recently replaced my old, still functioning smaller George Foreman grill with this one. I liked the older one, but it was something of a drag to clean, since I had to be careful not to get it too wet below the plates, as they weren't detachable. I didn't use it as much because of this. Also, some of the non-stick coating had rubbed off over the years, probably from my using Pam-type sprays in the past. This one has plates which come off and can easily be washed in the sink with a bit of dish soap and something like a Scrub Daddy sponge (and not steel wool). That it's easy to clean is a real plus in my wanting to use it more often than the old one. It's really probably best cooking for 1-2 people at a time, as you might have to cook a second batch for 2 more people, since you'd be kind of jam-packing the available grill space. There's no temperature control or knobs; you simply plug it in, wait about 4 1/2 minutes for the other light to come on to alert you that it's heated up enough, and then add your food. It grills both sides of the food at once, so no need to flip it. I've cooked turkey burgers, boneless chicken breasts, hot dogs, grilled cheese so far and plan to try salmon and other things soon. You might want to experiment how long you want to cook things, as 4 minutes for a turkey burger certainly cooked it, but, as advertised, it drains a lot of the fat from the food. Perhaps a little less time might keep a bit more of the juices. The fat collects in the plastic reservoir, which is placed in front of the machine and is easily cleaned when you've finished cooking. To turn off the machine, simply unplug it. Of course, leave some time for the plates and the machine to cool down before attempting to remove the plates to clean them. I'd also recommend not using Pam or other kinds of sprays which have added chemicals which will rub off the non-stick surface. Instead, I use a plastic spray bottle and use real olive or other oil to spray on if you wish to do so. This grill won't heat the house, either. The first time you use it, the instruction book tells you to run it for like 15 minutes without any food in it to burn off any residuals chemicals, and it might smell or smoke which it says is normal. That happened as they said, but after that, it works really well, no smell except for the food being cooked, and I am very happy with my purchase.

Title: Works well and easier to clean than the old one.
Review: So they say 4 burgers, however I like bigger burgers so only 2 will fit. This is OK because it is an easy size to store. Best of all are the removable plates that can go in the dishwasher. We have a large Foreman grill and it is sized for up to 6 burgers and it works well, however cleanup is a pain. In the end, I like this newer unit for cooking just a few burgers or hotdogs and cleanup is so much easier. CAUTION, when you remove the cooking plates, the heating elements are exposed! Make sure the unit is cooled down before removing the plates. It gets used very often and works as I had hoped. Definitely worth the price.

Title: Love This
Review: Easy to use, food turns out evenly cooked. It’s faster than some other cooking methods. Cleans easily. Perfect size for one or two people. The electrical cord needs to be longer. I definitely recommend buying, love Paninis cooked on this!

Title: My favorite!
Review: This is not my 1st GF grill, but my favorite so far because of the removable plates, so much easier to clean. I use it nearly every day. It's great for paninis, other sandwiches, fish, french fries, and grilled veggies. I have even cooked eggs and bacon on it (although the eggs were a bit messy). I have a tiny kitchen and using it doesn't heat the whole room. It's also a very healthy way to cook!

Title: I like it!
Review: I can dry-fry things at about twice the speed! Gotta get used to not seeing what you are cooking, and just getting the timing right. Worth it for daily standard cooking. Especially with my everything-goes-in-a-tortilla approach. Cold-wrapped cold-cuts become better than mere sustenance with some browned stripes on them. Weird but true. Easy cleaning? Hard to say. The shape of the surface makes it a pain to wash by hand, and non-stick means nothing to my dishwasher. Melty stuff and meat bits stay on there. Unless you are a germaphobe, though, a damp sponge after it cools a little seems like enough cleaning for something that will be 400 or so degrees next time you put food on it.

Title: Perfect.
Review: Grilled food is so much healthier, tastier and visually appealing. I recommend grilling turkey burgers from frozen. Yummy. If you prefer rare steak also try cooking frozen. Perfect size cooking for 2. Clean up a breeze with removable grill plates.

Review: I bought this to replace my previous grill which didn't have removable plates. The removable plates are AWESOME. Cleaning now takes 30 seconds, and they even fit in the dishwasher. I just use it for burgers and steaks, nothing too fancy, but it cooks everything evenly and quickly. Personally I think it's a better option than a propane BBQ even in the summer (charcoal still wins for the extra flavour of the smoking...)

Customers say

Customers like the ease of cleaning, performance, and removable plates of the countertop griddle. They mention it works well, cooks well, and the plates are removable. Some are also happy with the ease of use and cook time. However, some customers have different opinions on the size and heat up.
