Title: Loving this electric kettle
Review: I grew up always having access to a kettle and I honestly forgot how convenient it was. There is only so far a microwave oven will get you when you need some boiling water. I have recently been getting back into tea, so I now have a selection of various green, black, and herbal teas. Brewing these teas using a microwave can be very inconvenient, particularly with loose herbal teas.This kettle is reasonably well-designed, although I feel that the infuser attachment could have been better thought out. The infuser works extremely well, but it attaches to the lid using a couple of relatively delicate bits of plastic and I forsee these accidentally getting broken. I really like the base and how the kettle can be rotated. The handle is comfortable and thick and you don't need to worry about your fingers touching the hot glass when you pour.I was really surprised at how quickly this kettle brings water to a boil, I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it's quicker than a microwave for the same quantity of water. When infusing teas, the temperature selection is easy and intuitive. I didn't need to check the manual to figure out the buttons, but I did check it for recommendations on the temperature to choose for some of my teas. Some of my teas require a full boil, others want a lower temperature for the best flavor extraction.I have brewed two loose herbal teas and two "bagged" teas and every single one of them turned out better than anything I have produced with the microwave - particularly with loose teas. The fine mesh of the infuser combined with the mesh in the pour spout means that the vast majority of the tea dust stays in the pot and doesn't end up in your cup.I like this pot so much, that I'm not even going to take a star for the infuser attachment design.

Title: Great tea kettle!
Review: This electric tea kettle is awesome! It's easy to use with a few different temperature settings for different varieties of tea. The built-in infuser makes it simple to use loose-leaf tea, which is often cheaper, better-tasting, and has less packaging waste than tea bags. It's pretty easy to clean, seems reliable so far, and the price is right. No real complaints at all!

Title: Lots of Bells and whistles, colored lights
Review: I liked its size and its quick heating element. It is an attractive design. This has different colored LEDs for each 5 different temperature ranges, pretty cool. What I didn't like was the plastic lid contacting the boiling water, my lid also arrived dented. The temperature probe appears to be siliconed to the bottom of the kettle INSIDE the water vessel. I'm sure the science is there but silicone and plastic contacting my coffee water creeps me out a little bit. I am a early riser , and there are others still sleeping near by. When I make myself coffee, at 4 or 5 am ,this kettle loudly beeps when you put the kettle on the heating unit, again each time when you adjust past each of the 4 temperature ranges on the way to the last one , the boil, and again after you pour over your coffee and replace the kettle. So much for being on the down low. Some people will absolutely love this clever and attractive kettle, but for me all the visual and audio cues, detracts from my lifestyle of quietly and stealthily waking up and enjoying my morning coffee, planning my day before most of the rest of the world stirs.

Review: I had read a review that this shattered on someone for no reason which made me not buy it for a long time, then it was put on such a good sale I decided to risk it. I found that the reason that person's kettle shattered was probably because they boiled water, used the water, then perhaps tried to clean the kettle by putting cold water in it. This is a HUGE no no. You do not put cold water on hot glass, trust me. This has been a most wonderful kettle. I love the color of it when you switch it on, neon blue. It turns off by itself when it's ready to go. It boils quickly and quietly, and it's nice and fat. The "steeper" is that what it's called? Is awesome. You can steep all your loose tea in it without a bag. I love this kettle.
