Title: Economical and Green
Review: This is a handy little mower! Donât expect to do the back 40 with it, but itâs the Little Engine That Could.I bought it to do 3 newly seeded sections of lawn that my lawn guys were tearing up with their heavy 360° mowers. So lightweight, itâs kind to new grass.Black and Decker has many good entry level products, and you can add this one to the list. Plus, electric mowers are very green and kind to the environment. I would recommend for small jobs!

Title: Easy assembly. Great little mower. Incorrect screws.
Review: Love this lightweight Black & Decker mower. It was easy to assemble, but it came with incorrect screws. I had to use screws lying around my house, but it works! My lawn grows TALL and THICK, and this mower runs through it all. Even for smaller yards, I recommend a 100-ft outdoor extension cord. I'm using a 50-ft cord, and it's really inconvenient.

Title: Awesome Mower
Review: The unit was easy to assemble. You basically just attach the handle with four fasteners, plug the unit in to power, and start mowing.I got mine after months of physical incapacitation that prevented me from properly maintaining my 3/4 acre lot's lawn spaces. My grass was disgustingly out of control. In the back yard, it was well over waist-high.This mower cut through that over-grown grass with no problem. At all.The benefit of an electric motor is that it makes all the torque it can from zero rpm up. That is very useful when the job gets "tough" and I don't think a mower like this would ever be asked to tackle anything "tougher" than the chronically overgrown lawn of my back garden. A typical gasoline-engine push mower would have suffered engine stalling when faced with what this Black and Decker unit was faced with. It's quiet. The handle is very comfortable. It leaves a nice, even cut.Honestly, I can't think of much negative to say about the unit. There is a lot of plastic involved in its construction -the entire mowing deck is plastic rather than metal like the common stamped steel decks found on gasoline engine push mowers. It seems sturdy in spite of this and, of course, plastic can't rust.It is a corded unit, and I had some concern about the cord providing the power being a tether that would just get in the way. A little minor planning of movement in tackling my yard space really made the power cord a non-issue in my use.Time will tell how durable the unit is but it did convince me of one thing: I'm not going back to gasoline engines for push mowers. Electric power is far superior.

Title: Defective product. Never worked and no recourse from Amazon.
Review: Total disappointment. Amazon shipped a defected product. Cannot get service for it and cannot get a refund. The cost of shipping it back to Amazon is more than the cost of the lawn mower. Amazon refuses to come to some solution to pay the shipping cost. The electric supply seems defective from the manufacturer, and it is a total loss of $200.00 US. Shame on Amazon. Once they have sold a defective item they dont seem to care about the customer.

Title: Great cut, light and easy on my arthritis!
Review: This lightweight gem was exacIy what I was looking for! I rarely write reviews, but had to share how pleased I am with this mower. I'm 50 with arthritis and two yards to mow, so pushing and transporting a mower was very hard on me and I gave up and hired a service a few years ago. When I lost my job I couldn't afford a service anymore. I did a lot of research looking for something I could handle myself. This mower is perfect. I can squeeze one handle or the other and push using different parts of my palms to ease off the pressure on my hands. It's so light weight I told my son it feels like il a kid pushing a toy mower, but it cuts great! It has only 2 screws needing a Phillips which was good for my hands too and came together in about 20 minutes. Read the instructions on how to mow to avoid cord damage - it was a breeze. It will take me a while to get used to the pivot feature, but I already like it because the weed eater is more jaring on my hands and now I won't need to use it as much. I can very easily pick this up and put it in the back of my Prius too! The bag fills up very full before you notice cuttings on the grass, that's how I knew it was time to empty it. That was a little challenging to do because the bag was packed pretty tight with cuttings, but I figured out that if I use one hand to hold the bag, resting the back end on one knee, I could pull out about half with my other hand and shake down the rest. Overall I am extremely pleased and hope this helps other arthritis sufferers make an informed decision!

Title: Workhorse BUT Broken
Review: I loved this mower until it broke. This is lightweight and powerful and can handle any lawn. Easy set up out of the box. I am sad to say when I ran over a fallen branch it broke the mower. The plastic housing holding the blade to the deck broke and is no longer useable. My fault-but I will not be buying anymore mowers with plastic decks. Too bad as this was a great mower. It was quiet and easy to maneuver. If you are just cutting grass this is the mower to get. Make sure you don't run over any rocks or wood larger than twigs. The high lift blades work really well. This would be a fantastic mower if it had a steel deck.

Title: Not for a big yard
Review: If I didn't have a half-acre of land to mow, this would be the perfect lawnmower for me. It cuts clean, it's easy to adjust. It was kind of a hassle to put together, but once I got everything connected, it was definitely easy to use. A little hard to turn, even with the pivot feature, but it moved smoothly once you got it going. Downside was the grass-catch bag filled up REALLY quickly. I couldn't mow more than 3 or 4 rows before I had to dump it. Like I said, great for a small yard, maybe a quarter-acre or less. Do NOT get this if you have more than that, trust me! Amazon made it SUPER easy to return, though!

Review: For the price, a very good lawnmower. Only downside is, you HAVE to attach the grass bag, otherwise, it shoots right into your legs.

Review: I was dubious, going from a 175cc gas powered beast to a small electric mower, but this little guy does the job and then some. It made short work of my very overgrown backyard and once Iâd gotten the hand of not running over the cord and electrocuting myself it was actually a breeze to use.The weight of the thing is excellent and itâs far easier to manoeuvre around garden obstacles and through gates, itâs easier to use than my old power assisted one.I did have to mow the lawn twice over, once on the longest setting and then shorter, to avoid the motor burning up but thatâs just because Iâve left it a month between mows due to my Toro exploding.Great value and Iâm happy I gave it a go.
Customers say
Customers like the functionality, ease of assembly, and lightweight design of the lawn mower. They mention it works great for their small yards, the high-lift blades work really well, and it's easy to maneuver. However, some customers have reported that the motor stopped working after one use and is blowing smoke. They are also disappointed with the plastic quality and durability. Opinions differ on value for money and ease of use.
