Title: TERRIFIC HOME-USE POWER WASHER
Review: My wife asked for this (for her 69th Birthday !) WHAT A GIRL !We have a home we bought 10 years ago, that WAS BUILT in 2000, so its 23 years old. In all that time, to the best of our knowledge, the 2400 square foot circular drive in front, the 2800 square foot side main driveway, and an 1800 sq ft patio (all concrete) had NEVER been pressure washed or cleaned..... It was a MESS !After spending about 30 minutes assembling the Greenworks 2300 PSI pressure washer, reading up on how to operate it (ALL VERY EASY). We took it out and started it up.... We were actually removing decades of dirt 10 minutes later. It took us about 4 eight hour days to finish it all, but this little beast brought the concrete surfaces mentioned from dingy and near black in places, to a gleaming "like-new concrete look" again....Could we have done it faster. with a 10,000psi gas powered commercial power washer ? Probably, but for the ease of use, ELECTRIC (NOT GAS) powered, relatively light weight (my wife and I evenly split the workload), easily maneuverable (once you got the hang of where to be so you DON'T get tangled up in the hoses), we both couldn't have been happier with it.You start by getting the water flowing through the spray nozzle, then turn on the pump unit, squeeze the nozzle's trigger and after a brief delay, it pressures up and worked flawlessly. we also got the Greenworks 12" ROUND SURFACE CLEANER POWER WASHER ATTACHMENT (which I nicknamed the "HURRICANE" Attachment). It made short work of larger open area's like the side driveway and the patio ! Also got the Greenworks Soap Applicator for car washing, but haven't tried it yet. nor have I tried this on horizontal surfaces like brick, wood fencing or windows yet, but first, she and I are gonna "bask" in the beauty of our 'new' outdoor cement surfaces .....What would I get to improve working ease ? A high pressure "swivel connector for both ends of the hose pressure hose to the unit and to the water gun, a 50 foot long hose, and some of the Quick Connectors for attaching multiple hoses to multiple watering add ons (extension hoses, sprinklers, sprayers etc.) and maybe a 100 foot long heavy gauge extension cord.BOTTOM LINE: If you're not planning on opening a pressure washing business, I see NO REASON for not getting this rig for general HIGH PRESSURE dirt, mold, mildew removal and homeowner use..... I'd BUY IT AGAIN in a minute !

Title: I Like It - Updated Review
Review: UPDATE on 12 APR 2002: Got to use this pressure washer with the surface cleaner that I linked below. It worked well on my driveway. See pictures for a before and after comparison. Also, I picked up this 50' hose to double my reach from the machine: ROYPOWER Pressure Washer Hose, 1/4" X 50 FTORIGINAL REVIEW on 28 MAR 2022: Got to use the new pressure washer over the weekend and I'm pretty pleased. I cleaned a section of my exterior brick wall, a metal-sided shed, wood deck, my hot tub and hot tub cover. Worked very well for all of those. I only have 1 pic (sorry) of part of the brick wall I did, but you can see a good difference there (and it's even better-looking now dry). I used the black "turbo" nozzle on the brick and the 40° nozzle on the hot tub. Here are a few thoughts:Assembly: Easy to figure out with the directions.Materials: Not commercial-grade, but I don't need that. I think they are good enough for regular home-use tasks. Good hose and power cord length.Functionality: Good. I would like to note that the pump motor stops when you let go off the trigger. This is great for noise reduction and minimizing wear on the motor. The catch is that when you press the trigger again it will take a few seconds before the machine ramps up and you have pressure again. Not really an issue for me, though.Portability: Good. Nice, big wheels and the unit is not too heavy. Easy to move around, but stays put where you leave it.Gonna try it out next with JANZ 14" Pressure Washer Surface Cleaner. I'll update the review after that.Overall, a good product.

Title: Design flaws and quality control issues
Review: I bought the Greenworks 2300psi powerwasher based on various reviews. This would be my first time using this brand.Assembly was pretty much figure it out yourself because the diagrams and instructions were absolutely horrendous. Several different sized screws and no instruction on which size goes to what hole. I’m pretty good at figuring things out and you should be too. What really ticked me off was that my packet of screws was missing 1 of the 2 very important washers. The assembly could not be completed without this washer. So, in the car I go to Lowe’s for one single dang washer. I’m glad I brought the other one with me because of the hundreds of little washer drawers in that aisle, not a single one was the right size. I ended up having to buy a multi pack of 10 various sized washers just to get this taken care of. Greenworks basically lost any future purchases from me on this alone.I store this unit in my small storage closet when not in use. Right away I saw 2 serious design flaws. You cannot store this unit with the wheels flush against the wall because the wand handle sticks out too far when in the holster. Every inch matters when your storage closet is small like mine. So, I had to remove the wand from the holster to gain a few more inches of storage space. And speaking of the wand holster. What an absolute joke. Probably the lamest, with no thought put into this design holster at all. In a nutshell. It doesn’t work. The wand just falls out when rolling the machine through grass or sidewalk. One reviewer said he used velcro to make his work. Another reason to carefully research any future powerwasher purchase.Next, I finally got around to using this after having it a couple weeks. Initially I had problems with the motor coming on when I turned on the unit. Then, it would come on and and I would start powerwashing and it would cut off after maybe 15 seconds. The plug was fine and it was getting power so it was something to do with the machine itself. This happened a few times and I was already thinking that I was going to need to return this dud. Greenworks was quickly moving closer to the bottom of my list of brands to ever purchase again. Finally, the motor decided to cooperate and stay on after numerous tries and I was able to complete the job I set out to do in about 1 hour. One positive is the large power nozzle attachment. It worked wonders on the curb. This isn’t unique to Greenworks though as I noticed other brands also supply these in their nozzle attachments. Now that I have gotten past all the initial headaches I have had with my first Greenworks product, I was happy with the results. BTW, this unit is louder than the Sun Joe model I am replacing. It is advertised as quiet but I thought it was pretty loud. Now I will see if I have the same motor startup issues when I use it the next time in a few days. If I do, I will return it, update my review and go buy another brand. The photo attached is the slab of concrete I cleaned. I used an attachment (bought separately) that is a 15” large metal disc with castor wheels. It attaches to the wand and works very well with minimal effort. If you are doing large patios or driveways, I would highly recommend one of these. Don’t get the cheap plastic ones though. The heavier metal ones with wheels work better because they stay on the ground and don’t float like the lightweight plastic ones do.
