Title: Works great for the price
Review: I bought this as a portable back up to my current charger. I hooked it up to my generator and it showed it was charging but several hours later my van hadn’t charged at all. Works great when plugged in at my house so I’m still looking for one that works with my generator.

Title: Great charger
Review: I am enjoying my Evdance charger. Installation was easy. I mean I hired an electrician but I helped. We already had 220 power at my house from a jacuzzi we used to have. It was in the backyard so we had to route it to the front of the house.Note: The grey lock box in the photo does NOT come with the charger. My electrician provided it for a way to lock up the charger to prevent driveway pirates. I could have just had a 220v outlet installed but a thief could unplug and walk away with it or I would have had to unplug and stow it away daily to prevent theft.Anyway I like the clean design and it’s really easy to use. The cable is long enough to reach my car whether I park first or second in our tandem driveway. I also feel the the price was reasonable.I highly recommend Evdance!

Review: Excellent home level 2 charger. Fits right into a 240 outlet 50amp plug. Charges both my Tesla and non Tesla. Much cheaper priced than other chargers. Very happy with this purchase.Update: STOPPED WORKING AFTER ONE WEEK. Do not recommend

Title: Home ev charger
Review: Excellent, no problems. Charges quickly overnight and stops when fully charged. No need for fancy additions that other chargers have, my car app tells me everything that is going on regarding charging. Shop around for electrician-estimates ranged from $1,500 to $277.

Title: works great - no issues
Review: I ran 6 guage wire (for 50 amps) from the fuse box to a NEMA 14-50 receptacle, and wired that to 50 amp circuit breaker in the fuse box. Works great. Be careful to use heavy enough wires or they will get hot and possibly start fire. 8 guage wire would have sufficed for 40A, but I wanted that extra margin of safety. Be sure your wiring connections are rock solid because you are pushing some serious power levels.I am not noticing any significant increase in temperature at the charger when set at 40A. The cable between the charger and plug will get a little warm, but well within normal ranges. The temperature at the plug is only a few degrees over ambient temperature. Both the charger display and the car dash readout are in agreement on the charge rate...around 9.6kw typically.I prefer to keep the charge rate set of 32A just for some added safety margin, and only bump up to 40A if in a hurry. I don't notice any warmth on the charge cable at that lower level. Charging is not 100% efficient and there is always some heat generated as a byproduct, and those repeated heating/cooling cycles will add wear and tear to your charging system (both the charge unit and the car's internal circuitry and the connectors). I suggest setting your charge rate at the lowest level that will charge your particular car overnight. Anything above that is a waste and extra wear and tear.

Title: Really Good except on high output
Review: This works really well. I have a 2013 LEAF and a 2022 Mach-E. Works with both cars well. My only concern is that the charging handle gets hot at 40+ amps. I lowered it to 32 amps, and it solved the problem. It just takes a bit longer to charge now.I do like how easy the controls work in changing the amperage output and also the starting time.

Title: Amazing Charger for the price
Review: My car shows me the charging status so I didn't need a WiFi version. This meets my needs and has variable Amperage settings, perfect for EV/PHEV charging. The cables are long and heavy duty which is great.

Review: Reçu hier,je l’ai installer et commencer à m’en servir, tout es arriver bien emballer et la borne est dans un sac de transport ce qui est assez pratique si vous devez l’emmener avec vous. Le possibilité de pouvoir changer l’ampérage juste ne appuyant sur le bouton de façade est très pratique suivant où vous devez charger.
