Title: Does What It Is Supposed To Do, Very Well
Review: I've had an EV for a few weeks now, and as I write this, my Level 2 charger is being installed. Yet I haven't felt the slightest bit inconvenienced by this portable charger which has been doing the job in the meantime. Easy to set up, straightforward, and well weather-proofed, this unit does EXACTLY what it is supposed to to, was sent to me with alacrity, is easy to operate, and will be in my frunk for the distance!

Title: This is meant as an emergeny option and works as expected.
Review: Let's say you drive out to your lake house for a weekend and end up staying a day to long. Uh-Oh EV needs a little charge up to get you to a bigger charge station so you can get back home. Well this is where this charger shines. Yes it's slow but for a 110 Volt option in a pinch it can't be beat. And yes the 220 Volt will work faster if you have an appropriate plug available.

Title: Make sure you know what you're doing
Review: This has the potential to be a very decent slow charger. I bought one to use while waiting to get our level 2 installed, then to keep in the car as a backup if we ever need it.My biggest complaint is that it has the easy potential to pull an unsafe amount of current from a standard household outlet when using the included adapter. You MUST know to adjust down the amperage manually before using the adapter, or else you will end up with the issues reported elsewhere in these reviews, like melted outlets and damaged wiring.If you trust yourself to always make sure you're not setting the charger to exceed the amperage rating of the outlet you're plugging into, then you should be good to go.I like the ability to adjust the amperage (not just because of the safety requirement to do so) since it gives me the ability to turn it down even further to use with a extension cord, if ever needed.Otherwise so far so good using this to charge my Kia EV6.

Title: One BIG problem
Review: Honestly the charging speed is pretty good. Especially for the price. Size, etc. is great BUT... the thing gets stuck in the car. No other charger we have used does this so it's not the car. And it's not the user because my poor wife tries and tries and can almost never get it out and then she yells for me and it usually takes me on average about four minutes and 20 tries to get it out. I literally pulled a muscle in my shoulder fighting with it. I really wish it didn't have this problem because it's kinda perfect otherwise.

Title: Does an excellent job for the price
Review: I use the charger in my garage with 120v with a Kia EV6. The LED display is quite handy to see how the unit is performing during charges. Very slim and light - easy to handle. The cable is long enough and easy to work with. Have had the unit for a month and seems to be holding up well. No issues whatsoever as a Level 1 Charger. Have not used it with a 220V outlet but wanted to have the option in the off chance that I came across one of those plugs when I visit friends or family. Has a nice case for travel. Excellent value for the price. No need to buy those more expensive units!

Review: Avec un autre chargeur acheté juste avant, mon bloc électrique a fondu en plein été !!!! Car ça chargeait toujours au maximum de l'intensité à 16 Ampères. Là, je l'utilise à 12 ou 10 Ampères et mes cables ne chauffent plus. C'est très pratique aussi d'avoir la valise de rangement pour mettre dans le coffre avant. Je l'utilise avec un Porsche Taycan 2021, jamais eu un seul problème depuis 4 semaines que je l'utilise en appoint. Excellent produit. Très beau design.

Review: Successfully charged my Hyundai IONIQ 2020 at 3.6 kWh using this.BEWARE - reviews of EVSE chargers like this being a fire hazard, causing sparks, burns, or melting, are sometimes not due to a problem with the product but improper use and inadequate electrical service.For Level 2 charging, this product needs a 220/240V 20A line and receptacle (NEMA 6-20R).For Level 1 charging, you must use the included adapter in order to plug it into a regular NEMA 5-15R.You should not use any adapters or extension cables other than the adapter that came with this product unless you have MADE SURE the adapter/extension cable can handle the sustained electrical load of EV charging. Basically don't use it with any adapters or extensions that aren't thick heavy duty rated.This charger is great because the house I'm living in only has 100 amp service and putting a dryer plug near the garage was not feasible.With this charger, I was able to have a 240V 20A circuit breaker and line installed running to a NEMA 6-20R receptacle and double my charging speed.

Review: The EVDANCE EV charger is a good durable and adaptable basic EV charger, supporting both NEMA6-20 (240V) and a standard 110V plug, which gives flexibility for drivers charging at home or using a standard outlet on the trip. The adjustable amperage (from 6 to 16 amps) is another helpful feature, allowing me to set it according to my car's charging needs and the outlet’s capacity, which is ideal when I'm not in a rush to top up or want to avoid overloading a circuit. While the charger works reliably on 110V, it’s definitely slower than I’d prefer for everyday use; it’s great if you have time, but not ideal for faster top-ups. Unfortunately, this model doesn’t support NEMA 14-30 or 14-50 outlets, which would have been a valuable addition for quicker Level 2 charging at home.The 25-foot cable is plenty long, making it easy to reach different spots around my garage. The waterproof build of the charger has also given me peace of mind, especially in wet weather – it feels sturdy and reliable even if it’s exposed to some rain or moisture. Setup is straightforward, and I found the unit easy to mount and connect. It’s also fairly portable, so I can bring it along on road trips where charging options might be limited. The carrying bag is definitely helpful when I am taking the charger on the move. Potential users needs to be aware that this charger does not support a Tesla without an adapter, which is not included in the package.
