Title: Useful but takes a little practice if you’ve never used one before
Review: More and more good wine, especially whites, come with screw-top caps now but there are certainly enough with corks to make this compact set definitely worth it. Each piece is easy to use and the opener comes with a USB C cable that makes charging time quick. The charge is also maintained for a long time. The foil cutter fits over the top of the bottle and with a few turns easily cuts the foil and reveals the cork. The wine opener fits well over the top of the bottle and with a press of a button on the side moves down and turns clockwise to insert the corkscrew into the bottle. With the press of another button the opener rises up pulling out the cork. It did take a couple of tries the first time using it to get it right but it was still relatively easy and efficient. The wine spout (or pourer) regulates the amount of wine poured and ensures that there are no drips. The stopper has a little plunger on top that you press multiple times to create a vacuum and seal it. It took about 10 “plunges” to create a tight seal but it was easy enough. All in all it’s a useful set, even if you need a little practice using the opener itself.

Review: I've been using an electric wine opener for years—or rather, I used to, until someone misplaced the charging base or cord. I can't recall which type it used, as it's been missing for well over a year. With the battery finally dead, it’s time for a new opener. God forbid we go back to a manual corkscrew opener (gasp!) or the opener that looks like a little chrome robot with its arms slowly raising in anticipation of the elixir about to be unleashed. No, I will never go back; I must keep moving forward, so electronic it is.After some e-shopping, I chose the VGY Rechargeable Electric Wine Opener.The opener works perfectly, with a quiet, smooth operation and no issues with corking the wine during testing. The cutter works as it should, and the pourer is effective with no dripping or mess. Admittedly, I rarely use a pourer, but it does add a touch of class when I do. I had never really used a vacuum stopper before this one, though I know we've owned one or two over the years. I tried it out, and as long as you follow the directions, it’s super easy to use. Judging by the pressure, it clearly removes most of the air. Speaking of directions, they are included with the product. For what it’s worth, the instructions are clear and concise. They are well written, include well-drawn illustrations, and are printed on paper that is easy to read. To some degree, I judge the quality of a product by the effort a company puts into its directions. Sloppy instructions usually indicate a sloppy product. This company clearly takes pride in its product, and it shows in their directions. Yes, I'm serious.One of the reasons I chose this product is its sleek, unmissable charging station or base, which also holds a pourer, a vacuum stopper, and a foil cutter, each with its own designated area. I’ve had all these tools at one point or another, but they too have vanished into the great beyond. Now, these tools have a home, and it’s obvious when they haven’t been put back. I also appreciate that the wine opener is shorter than my old one (8 inches tall, or one-half inch taller when standing at attention in its base). The more compact, the better. The base uses a USB charging cord but does not come with a charging block. It seems that nothing electronic comes with charging blocks anymore—not even new phones. It’s as if companies stopped including them at some point, and we all must use our old ones for everything. Strange.My only gripe, if I have one, is that it wobbles a bit in the base. It’s not very snug, but I suppose that’s so you can remove it without the base coming up with it. It doesn’t tip out of the base, though, so I’m really just looking for something to whine about at this point (see what I did there?). This is a well-made product, and I can fully recommend it.

Title: Easy to Use
Review: Here are a couple of important things I found out while using this set:First of all, you really don't have to squeeze the foil cutter very hard. The first time I used it, I applied too much pressure and the cutter slipped and I almost cut my finger. Just apply light pressure as you rotate it and it'll easily cut the foil on the bottle.Secondly, when you use the corkscrew opener, press the down button until you feel the screw has advanced to the end of the cork. Then, while continuing to press the down button, lift the opener up and remove it from the bottle. Just press the up button to release the cork. At first, I thought I had to pull up on the device while pressing the down button to release the cork. That's not the case. When you press the up button, it will release the cork on its own.Those are my lessons learned. Title: does it all!!
Review: i was just looking for an electric wine opener and stumbled on to this. it does it all!! Automatic Electric Wine Bottle Corkscrew Opener, Foil Cutter, Vacuum Stopper, Wine Pourer and Storage Charging Stand, you can't beat that hahaha. it takes about 2 hours to charge but it lasts a long time. i am not an alcoholic so i don't find myself charging this device up a lot. it is worth the investment. i tried the foil cutter too and it works pretty well, the cuts are clean. i have no complaints really. i am going to buy my sister one.
