The Victor Ultra PestChaser emits high frequency ultrasound that effectively repels rodents. The Ultra PestChaser is ideal for large sized areas like homes, businesses or even warehouses. To keep rodents from becoming accustomed to the sound, the Victor Ultra PestChaser emits ultrasound at varying volumes (peaking at 100dB) and varying frequencies (ranging from 32 to 62 kHz). With over 80 oscillations per second, this rodent repeller sounds like a jackhammer to mice and rats. The non-repetitive volume and frequency levels cause discomfort and an unfriendly environment that discourages rodent infestations. It is important to note that ultrasound does not travel through walls, furniture or other obstructions. Use one Ultra PestChaser unit per room and place in an open area. This PestChaser is safe for humans, cats, dogs, birds, and fish when used as directed. Rodent pets like hamsters and guinea pigs will simply need to be moved to a room without a rodent repeller. In order to be effective, a pest control effort needs to use several different tools and methods. First, rid your space of rodents using one of the many solutions offered by Victor; whether your preference is snap, electronic, live, or poisons, there is a solution to fit your needs. After the rodents are eliminated, use the Victor Ultra PestChaser to keep them away.

Title: this product works.
Review: i bought mine after friend plugged in his and we could hear mice in the ivy scurrying away and then watched as they ran from safe cover towards open field. thats unnatural for mice to do that. literally moment we plugged it in? they took off running so plan your location , follow instructions . these cover limited distance, drive them from your home . you may have to move it a couple times to get rid of existing or may need another 1 due to size of area. but well worth it.

Title: This actually works great for mice
Review: I never believed these electronic pest repellers worked and some of the cheaper ones I bought didn't. This one actually works perfectly for mice. My apartment building is infested with mice. My downstairs neighbor has 3 dogs and leaves food out for them all the time. He also never cleans and you can see pizza boxes piled up in the kitchen through the window. It's the perfect home for mice. Eventually, the mice climb up through the walls into my apartment. One year, I caught 7 mice over 2 nights. I had gotten some cheap electronic repellers, but eventually they stopped working. I bought some others that didn't work and within a week, I had mice in my apartment again. I was hesitant to get this one because it's quite a bit more expensive, but I gave it a try. I haven't had one single mouse in my apartment since. I know exactly where the mice come in, through a hole for the plumbing behind my dishwasher, so I set this repeller on the floor pointing right at that spot. I never even hear them in the walls anymore. I've had friends bring dogs and cats to my place to visit and they don't notice the unit at all. This isn't the cheapest pest repeller, but it does work great. If you have a big problem with mice, it's worth the money.

Title: Completely Silent Where The Two-Speaker Model Bought From Lowe's Makes A Little Noise
Review: I don't know if this particular one is defective, but bought two from Lowe's which would be the model with two speakers and those had some noise that could be heard. This one, however, is completely silent. But the reason I have to return it is that it has absolutely no effect whatsoever. I live near a park and the rats are aggressive! They chew through the house into my kitchen. The bait blocks worked at first but through natural selection those that didn't munch on them survive. Now I have to find other ways. The small ones that you plug in like night light all did not work or worked for only a few months - I tried four or five brands. Yes, you should be aware that those little ones even when they work, they only work for a period. The rats get used to them and come back! So I'm on to these bigger ones from Victor. Also, when I'm gone on vacation I intend to use ozone generators to make the environment absolutely unlivable for these rats. It's a war alright. Sometimes you win but over time, the rats prove how they have always survived to pest us and keep us on our toes trying to invent the better mouse traps!PS - I'm redeploying the two-speaker model to the kitchen. It was placed elsewhere because I wanted to put this more expensive three-speaker one in the kitchen. Will see if that one actually works with the little audible noise that it makes indicating that it at least turns on or does something.

Title: Racoon and Mouse Problem Gone!
Review: Problem: field mouse running in the attics, and recently, one timely and consistent racoon came down the trees on to the roof and ripped a small gap on the side allowing the said racoon (and more mouse) to get in and out the attic. We have several fruit trees in the yard, so I believe these small animals are here for the buffet. Drove me insane around 1-2am. Got the Victor M793 after reading Amazon reviews, ordered it around 1:45AM and received it by 5PM, plugged it in, and started to work slowly night by night. The first and second night, yep like clockwork, I would hear the racoon coming down the tree, running across my roof, same route to the place where he/she clawed a gap. BUT- with the repellant on, the racoon would not enter. The mouse problem also improved because I do not hear little footsteps running inside of my ceiling anymore. You'll have to put it in the right place allowing the sonic wave to travel, place it somewhere central and point it to the general direction where you've been hearing noise the most. When you turn it on, it has a very faint buzzing sound, my dog doesn't seem to be affected by it. The M793 also has a pulsating red light. Not police siren red, but a dim kind of red. I guess small critters will find it annoying, even blinding?!??We live in the suburbs of LA. We have the usual urban small animals running through our yard grabbing fruits and finding shelter- possums, squirrels, rats, mouse, stray cats. The worst on the list are skunks and racoons. I have "mastered" skunk- Havahart cage and a generous wad of peanut butter- done! Racoons come down from the trees on to the roof, so they're a bit more tricky and sneaky.I have this machine on every night since purchase on 5/29/2015 and today is 6/30/2015. Haven't heard any noise in my attic or inside my roof since the purchase, so.... highly recommended.

Title: Doesn't really work after awhile
Review: I don't know if rodents get used to the sound or if the product stops working. It did seem to help for a month or two, but then I started finding signs of them returning. Back to the traps. Really wish I had just stuck with traps and saved the money.

Customers say
