Marrying the man I hate is bad enough. But falling for him? That’ll be the death of me.

Gabriel Thompson and I are like oil and water. Our New York families control two of the nation’s largest companies and the business rivalry is decades old. We’ve carried the torch ourselves since childhood.

But then we bump into each other after a conference in Vegas. Drinks are involved, and he utters the three little words I can’t resist. I dare you. The next morning we wake up hungover, late, and worst of all, married.

It’s a PR disaster. To save our reputations, we have to sell this marriage to the media and to our families. Go to parties. Move in together. Act in love.

Neither of us have ever mentioned that one drunken night in college, when we crossed lines branded into us from birth. I’d assumed he’d forgotten and moved on.

He hasn’t, and he’s determined to show what I’ve been missing. But Gabriel is too confident, too smug, and far too attractive for anything real. I can never let my guard down.

With his ring on my finger, we’re destined to be enemies forever.
Til’ death do us part… unless we kill each other first.

Title: Best Enemies Forever book 1
Review: This was such a juicy story. I loved the banter, how they challenge each other , and how their relationship changes.

Title: Gabriel and Connie
Review: Gabriel and Connie have grown up being rivals and pinned against each other. Their last names are amongst the two biggest rival families out there so everything they do is a competition. When the two end up at the same conference in Vegas, their competitive side gets the best of them and they keep one upping each other; also the drinks keep flowing. So when one of them speaks up about getting married, their inebriated state, says yes. It’s not until the next morning that they both realize what they have done and the huge consequences this presents to themselves, their families, and the family businesses. Fast forward a bit and Gabriel and Connie end up having to fake the relationship to prove that this marriage was real. The more time spent together, the more their hate turns to lust and those fake feelings might not be so fake.I went back and forth about the rating because overall I thought the story was good. Loved the banter and the chemistry between these two, even from the beginning. But..I am so tired of fake relationships and on top of that, Connie’s character was so weak when it came to her family. She can stand up to Gabriel but not her own family? Ugh! But that is my issue and loved how much Gabriel took her side and defended her..true sign of a gentleman.

Title: It starts with a dare…
Review: It’s a little predictable, yes, but definitely a good read. I loved the characters and my goodness Gabriel is a walking green flag!!!I’m no stranger to Olivia Hayle and she doesn’t disappoint with this one. The chemistry and banter and competitiveness of the main characters isn’t over done, or annoying.5 ⭐️2.5🌶️

Title: Very entertaining!
Review: From page one the bantering between the main two characters is constant and funny. Their chemistry and history together is different from all the billionaires books so far. What happens when two people belonging to two different rival and powerful families fall for each other? Almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet with dysfunctional families more preoccupied with power and influence than the happiness of their family. This is a entertaining book that will not disappoint you.

Title: Pretty Boring
Review: Typical romance novel. Two rich families who are competitors, rivalry between them has been on going for quite some time. These two main characters have known each other for quite some time, one intimately in college. One drunken night in Vegas and they're married.

Title: sworn enemies to lovers
Review: This is the first book in the series. I accidentally read book 2 first, but luckily it had been long enough that I forgot the spoilers. She’s a Connovan and he’s a Thompson. They’ve known each other since grade school, even had a one night stand during law school…but they’ve been raised to be enemies, and so they’ve mostly been that way. Always arguing and fighting and competing until one drunken night in Vegas they end up married….on a dare. Sober in the morning and full of regret they decide to try to annul it before it gets out to their families and the rest of the business world….but it isn’t as easy as you’d think especially given that it was in Vegas. As always Olivia Hayle takes you on an adventure with these two characters. Who will admit their true feelings first? How will their families react? This spicy story will have you turning the pages!

Review: Yes! The Connovan’s and the Thompson’s have been business rivals for decades, and Connie and Gabriel have been in each others orbit for as long as they can remember, and aside from one night in college they’ve hated each other. The chemistry and banter between these two was fire, and I really just loved the little things from Gabriel.I didn’t love either of their families, but one or two members from each side won me over the teeniest bit in the end.Best Enemies Forever was sweet spicy and overall a really fun read! I’m excited for the next Connovan love story.

Review: A bit long winded bit a good storyline. Connie and Gabriel end up married in Las Vegas after a drunken night out. Next day panic sets in as both their families will go crazy as there has been rivalry between them for years. They try to think of a way to annul the wedding, but due to circumstances they decide to pretend to their families that they are legit, lots of made up stories, funny in parts, but a lot gos on between them, she has problems with her dad and brother, Gabriel has problems with his cousin who is fighting against him for the CEO position he is hoping to steal from Gabriel. Lots of drama but a lovely ending. Worth the read.

Review: Constance „Connie“ Connovan, 29, is the youngest of the three Connovan siblings. Her brother Alec, now CEO of Contron, the family’s multinational conglomerate is 11 years older, her brother Nate, overseeing Contron‘s European business is 8 years older. Her mother died when Connie was only 2. Connie is overprotected and underestimated by her father and her older brothers. She works extra hard to gain their respect and trust.Gabriel Thompson, 31, is one of the heirs to Thompson Enterprises. He is in constant competition with his cousin Jacob. Only one of them will become the next CEO.Contron and Thompson Enterprises are rivals and so are the Connovan and Thompson families. It was ingrained in Gabriel and Connie from birth to compete, to win against and never like a member of the the business rival‘s family. This is how Connie and Gabriel went through school at St. Regis and later Harvard Law School and now in their positions for their respective companies. Each time they meet they try to rile and up the other. On a business trip to Las Vegas they both get very drunk and daring each other ends them married at 3:16 am in a Vegas wedding chapel. Both try their hardest to annull the wedding, but this is not as easy as it seems and when a newspaper soon after runs the story of their impromptu wedding they both have much to loose, so they decide to persuade the public and their families they are indeed in love. Persuading their families seems to be the hardest. Or is it persuading each other they are just pretending?I loved how Gabriel is rooting for Connie from the very beginning, always defending her against her overprotective and suffocating family. Connie recognises that Gabriel is not the superficial player she always thought, but had to fight his own battles at a young age, making him more caring and mature than many others his age. Both deserved their happy ending so much! I really loved the book. And yes, Alec was the insufferable older brother most time, but fate did not play him fair so far and he deserves some happiness of his own. So I’m very much looking forward to the next book telling Alec’s story falling in love with Isabel, Connie’s best friend.
