Title: Don't listen to the haters...This works for personal cooling!
Review: Okay , this will not cool a room of any size except maybe a closet, however if you are in a hot room and need something better then a fan that actually blows cold air then this is for you. I work in a HOT office and I put this next to me on my desk and it feels like an air conditioner. I turn it on low/medium and get a nice cold, not warm air , breeze. To really get cold air from it you need to make sure you run the cooling tray vents under cold water , freezing them only lasts a little while. Put ICE CUBES in the water reserve and then add water. I swear it is cold air that will blow out of this thing and keep your personal space cool. I have bought 4 of these for my family .

Title: Don’t waste your money. It doesn’t actually work.
Review: Maybe I’m mentally challenged or something, but I followed the instructions for this thing and did what I was supposed to do as far as I can tell and it didn’t do anything. It just pathetically wheezed out some fine mist and that was it. No cap. The so called fan didn’t blow any air out of it or anything it legit just hissed and nothing more. So yeah, it’s very quiet. Suuuuuuuper quiet. Because nothing happens when the fan is on. Nothing but fine mist creeping out of it. And the mist isn’t cold either. I don’t know how you’re supposed to get cooled off just by looking at a creepy fine mist leaking out of a useless contraption but…ok. If that’s how it’s supposed to work I must be doing something wrong. I did not get cooled off by looking at the mist. I must be broken. Oh, and don’t even think about using it without freezing the filter or adding ice because then it becomes even more useless than it already is. Wait, those things don’t actually help. Lmao my bad. It doesn’t work no matter what you do. But hey, if I just happened to get a defective product and that’s why nothing happened when I used mine I will gladly retract my review and post a new one. Maybe mine was just defective? I hope that’s the case because I would hate for other people to also spend money on this thing if it doesn’t actually do anything.

Title: It's small, loud, a glorified fan and only works for about 2 feet but, it kind of works.
Review: My first Amazon review.Look, I think this thing gets a bad rap from the other reviews. I really do think you get what you pay for with this thing. It is a glorified fan, it is loud, the light is always on. But, it kind of does what it says it does.Is it a bit over priced for what it does? Sure. This thing is not an "air conditioner" it is a humidifier like little swamp cooler thing. It blows humidified air to in turn "cool" down about 2 feet from the fan. It "works" if you don't expect it to be an air conditioner and you intend to sit within 2 feet of it. I set mine in front of me on my coffee table or next to me on my desk.With the limitations and kind of "issues". It is an okay little unit. Please understand what you're getting.You're not getting a cheap "air conditioner" you're getting an expensive fan that kind of works like a swamp cooler.

Review: I was skeptical at first hard to believe it could do as it says, I was anxious to try it out after watching a review show on you tube about theese small personal coolers, I learned they are NOT A/C units They are evaporative coolers and work like a swamp cooler,, It definatley does cool you off I often have to turn it off because I get too cold,,but it does not cool off the room much if at all,, it does work great if it's close to you and pointed at you,,,I rated it low like that because of some things it doesn't do as said, like the water chamber/ holder can last all day, not for me it would last a long time but I had to fill it more than one time a day, I did 2 times if on all day,, the other reason I rated it low is because of how loud it is, It is so loud, but luckily I'm not bothered by noise, but I can see alot of people having a issue with how loud it is its a loud swoosh blowing air with mechanical sound,, I don't know if you have heard a cpap machine turned on with out putting it on your face it sounds like that but louder, I Love the nite light and diffrent colors and I like that it has 3 settings, high, medium and low,, I do love this little cooler and have been using it every day since I purchased it,, another thing I read because it's a evaporative cooler you need to have a window open near for the?? to escape? You will have to read up on that I don't understand how some things work but I get what there trying to say, so opening a window obviously isn't going to help keep the room cool, but it will definatley cool you off, also I like how light weight and easy it is to bring with you if your going to family or friends,, and they are not hot like you ( are all the time) or they don't have a/c or a fan,, so it's very convenient and has a very long cord,

Review: I'm a day sleeper and needed something beside the bed that could cool off my torso area quickly. This little gizmo does the trick. Yes, it's loud on the high setting, but so is my bratty neighbor joyriding around on his dirt bike on summer break, so I sleep with earplugs anyway. I only use distilled water, as was the recommendation. It makes sense as I have heavy water and using the alternative will extend the life of the filter. Glad I didn't buy it on the website of the commercial. I saved over $40 going the Amazon route. It won't cool down a room, but it does the trick in close quarters. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Review: Ich habe mir den Arctic Air gekauft, da ich sehr unter der Hitze im Sommer in einer Dachgeschosswohnung leide.Ich bin positiv begeistert. Das Gerät kühlt tatsächlich etwas. Natürlich kann man das Gerät nicht ansatzweise mit einem mobilen Klimagerät mit Abluft vergleichen. Dennoch für mich ein tolles Gerät. ich hab es auf dem Nachttisch stehen. Ist leider etwas lauter würd ich sagen, aber ich bin da nicht so empfindlich. Durch die 3 Stufen kann man einstellen wie stark das Gebläse ist.Ich bereue den Kauf nicht und schon gar nicht mit Blick auf den Preis. Ich werde noch einen bestellen. Bin überzeugt!
