Review: THANK YOU for putting this in spiral bound format. I wish more recipe books would do this. I also greatly appreciate all the pictures. It was like they knew how to appeal to people who like to cook (and eat). Give me a recipe book in spiral bound form, and provide pictures of each (or most) recipes, and I will pay loads more for it over the pictureless recipe books. I cook based on what appeals to my tummy when I see it. Good job on this!I love the variety of recipes. Something for everyone! I think this books makes a great gift. I wanted it, but I bought it for my husband as an upcoming Christmas present. He likes chili, and I think would participate in the kitchen with recipes like these. I love volume food (big eater, and some foods are great as left overs and beyond).So far, I am very pleased with it, and I think the hubs will be too.

Review: As a self proclaimed chili expert, and part time recipe user I found this book absolutely amazing! The day it arrived (literally the same day Iâm reviewing it) I read it cover to cover. âBut why would you read a cook book cover to cover?â Ahh yes, good question, I did it because of the author. I have been a fan of Brian Baumgartner since the first day I watched the office. Subsequently my excitement for this book is only amplified each time I re-watch the office. My love of the office is not the point of this review, this review is to express the wonderfully laid out, visually appealing, and easy step-by-step instructions that are found within each of the 177 (bonus recipes as well) recipes.The lay out and design of this cook book make it easy to read and understand. Itâs very simple to find the chili you are looking for, or based on the meat you have on hand.The visual appealing pictures are so well done, my cat attempted to eat them as she read over my shoulder. Truly stunning images, that only make you want to attempt each and every recipe.If you are in need of a comprehensive guide to chili, are a fan of Brian, a lover of the office, or of fine recipes, this book is needed for your collection.

Review: I was hesitant about buying this book because I wondered if anyone really needs an entire book dedicated to one dish.After receiving and reviewing it, I have no regrets.The book itself (spiral) is made REALLY well. The narrative portions of the book are engaging. The recipes are well written.I think what I appreciate the most is how much obvious care and love went into creating this book.Excited for all the chili I'll have to make now.

Review: I am so pleased with this book! I ordered the spiral bound edition which I highly recommend. It is well made with a hard cover, semi-glossy pages and if I'm not mistaken, there's a photo for every recipe along with a bio of each contributor. Additionally, Brian includes a history of chili! I have made one recipe so far and it was fantastic. Great job, Brian Baumgartner!

Review: I'm a huge fan of chili and I recently entered a chili cookoff and got one of the prizes. But afterwards, it occurred to me that I've been making more or less the same chili for my entire life and I wanted to see what else was possible. I saw so many different kinds of chili in that competition that I was intrigued to branch out. I've tried a few recipes here from this book and they've all been great so far. Looking forward to going through more. Thumbs up!

Review: If you're a chili head you will want this title on your bookshelf, despite the criticisms I'll now lay out. There's a broad range of recipes in here to take inspiration from and try out for yourself, but if you're looking for technique look elsewhere. A lot of the recipes use processed foods for key ingredients which is surprising, and if you have a European palate you'll want to halve the amount of salt in most of the recipes. All that said there's a lot to take inspiration from in here and when the recipe calls for tin of 'this or that' you can always upgrade by preparing 'this or that' yourself. Overall, recommended.. but it won't change your life 🙂
