Title: OMG!
Review: Fab-u-lous ! Freaking Fabulous! Not only was it great but I intend to buy all of their books...potato, muffin, shrimp...If those books are as good as this cookie book, I will be the queen bee on my block for parties.

Title: Most Educational
Review: My family has specialized in baking cookies for Christmas gifts for the last sixty years. This book has taught us things we never knew about ingredients and the proper way to prepare and use them. An excelent book. PS: I never write reviews but this book certainly deserved one!

Title: Disappointing collection of chocolate cookies
Review: I have two other cookbooks by these authors, The Ultimate Candy Book and the Ultimate Ice Cream Book so was really looking forward to this one, especially as I love to bake. There is not one photo, and the recipes are just lumped in alphabetical order with no kind of grouping by type. I didn't see too many original or exciting recipes but I will say there are some helpful general tips on baking at the front of the book.

Title: They look really good
Review: Okay so I just read the book and haven't had time to make any of these recipes. But they look really good. Well, there are some I will never make-I'm not vegan so I see no need to ruin chocolate chip cookies with tahini LOL. But they have a good reason to use it. I am not sure butter is vegan though. The Kindle version does not have pictures that I saw. But it was 99 cents when I got it so I'm not complaining. They have a great history of chocolate at the beginning and a lot of great recommendations on how to use ingredients that will be useful for those of us whose experience baking with chocolate is nestles chips thrown into batter before baking.
