Title: Evidence, Examples and Explanantions
Review: This book is a must buy for any law student in evidence. I have purchased the "Example and Explanations" books for Civ Pro, Torts, Contracts, and Real Property. After utilizing these texts for 2 years now, I can honestly saw they teach me more about the material and subjects than my teachers in class. If you are struggling with Evidence, which a lot of people do, then this text is well worth the small investment. Plus, a law student can keep these texts for future reference forever because they truly help to explain the subjects to students. I have been using example and explanations books since day 1 of law school and I have yet to be disappointed. The best part of the text are the examples a the end of every chapter.

Title: Not just for lawyers.
Review: Too much of what the non-lawyer public learns about the American judicial system comes from television and movies. These media accelerate the real process and take considerable liberties with what might be presentable in a real court. This book helps distill the arcane rules of what can be presented at a trial into something the intelligent, non-lawyer can understand. There are lots of examples and lots of questions with answers. (And lots of footnotes and references, too.) You can read the text and skip the questions, or really dig into the questions, see if you get it right, and then read the answers. The book won't make you a lawyer, but it will certainly help you understand why lawyers sometimes act in ways the lay public finds so convoluted.

Title: Great E&E But Don't Waste the Money on This Edition
Review: The Evidence E&E is hands down one of the best in the series. It's very straightforward and easy to understand. The text is well written and the examples are extremely helpful. I do recommend, however, that you get the 7th edition. My friend bought this edition and I had the previous one. We went through them together and the examples were - as far as we could tell - all exactly the same. We didn't go through all of them - just the ones that applied to our class - but they matched up exactly. So, if you're looking to save thirty some odd dollars, you can feel all right and confident with buying the seventh edition.

Title: Excellent study guide
Review: Great aid for my Evidence course. I started reading it ~2 weeks before my final, but I would recommend reading it earlier in the semester. This EE covered each hearsay exception and other evidence topics in 1-2 pages each, which was the perfect length for quick and efficient review. The simple explanations given for the "theory" behind each rule made everything more understandable and helped make the rules really stick come exam time. The notes after each rule in the appendix section (where the rules are printed in their entirety) were also VERY helpful. HIGHLY recommend this EE. Probably up there with civ pro EE in terms of the the best EEs/hornbooks out there.

Title: Great study tool
Review: I based my outline on this book rather than on the casebook/course schedule because I felt like the book's progression made much more sense. The E&E does a good job of quoting directly from the rules, explaining the rules, and then mentioning any important cases that may have been brought up in class. The examples are also a great way to test your new knowledge to make sure you really get it, or understand the exceptions. There are a few things my professor went more in-depth into that the E&E did not really cover, but aside from that, I thought this was a great study tool to have for exam season.

Title: This E & E was absolutely useless. I think our Evidence class was pretty comprehensive
Review: This E & E was absolutely useless. I think our Evidence class was pretty comprehensive, but this book really didn't relate at all. The hornbook is way better.

Title: How to Calli evidence
Review: I always hear great things about E&E's but have never had the time to read supplements on top of what I'm already reading. I was clearly missing out! Evidence can be such a difficult process due to all the rules and exceptions but this book has made it so easy to understand. I went from struggling to understand past law topics to being the top of my class. Definitely recommend this book.

Title: Another great E&E book
Review: I have used a lot of Examples & Explanation books and I am always happy with the products. This book is no exception. I felt the book was very helpful to clarify difficult concepts and helped me make up road maps for my final exam.
