Title: A Fine Addition for my Decor
Review: You know, even if you don’t live in a country house, you still want some greenery in your life.That’s why I decided to "plant" some artificial trees, and this time I chose a pair of four-foot ficus trees.They look very realistic, just like in the pictures.Everything arrived in neat boxes, and assembly was quick: you just need to connect the top and bottom parts. By the way, the bottom part is quite flimsy, so it’s better to add some ballast, like rocks.You can bend the branches and leaves as you wish to make the tree look more natural or, for example, to ensure it doesn't obstruct passage (I placed one of the trees by the front door).I’m very happy with my purchase! Excellent value for money.

Review: I wasn't sure how an item like this would ship, but I bought it online anyways. It came tightly packed and needed some fluffing (not unlike a Christmas tree), and then looks great. It's obviously fake up close, but still adds some green to the house that I'm not in serious danger of killing.

Title: Decent fake tree
Review: HAIHONG 5FT Artificial Ficus Trees with Realistic Leaves and Natural Trunk is a pretty nice item. When tucked away in a corner it looks real enough to flow with the rest of the room without drawing attention to itself. It's not real enough to pass as a tree up close though. All in all, if you just need a reasonably priced item to add a bit of greenery to a drab space, this is a good way to go. One last note, is that the base on this item is REALLY small, so you may want to consider getting a floor sitting planter to sit this in; it'll add a bit more stability & aesthetic.

Title: Very pleased with result-- if planting outside, buy a UV spray to prevent fading
Review: Since this came with two, we decided to "plant" one outside as we are re-doing our landscaping. The other is indoors by our front door.We think they look great. For the one outside, I sprayed with TriNova UV Spray (you can find here on Amazon) to try to keep it from fading in the sunlight. These are the 6ft tall versions. Once "planted", the one outside stands more like 5 ft, which was a good height for us. I am planning to add some ornamental grass or mulch or something around the base.The 6ft version comes in two pieces-- a top and a bottom piece. To keep the wind from blowing it over, I did glue them together once I was sure I was happy (I used Gorilla 2-part epoxy, but any kind of "outdoor" glue will work).They definitely want to fall over, since they are top-heavy. So if you are "planting" one like I did, put heavy rocks or bricks on top and around the hole to keep it from shifting around, and completely bury the base. For indoors, I'd recommend putting it in a close-fitting pot with some gravel to make it more sturdy. Glue the top layer of gravel in place to keep kids and pets from getting gravel everywhere.

Title: Great trees, bad packaging
Review: The trees themselves are very well made and look pretty real. I didn't like the fact the box they came in was too small and they bent the top of the trees and many of the leaves were bent/crushed. The tree looked comparable to the "Charlie Brown" tree when first taken out of the box. I expected to have to shape the tree. But it took a steam iron and considerable time to get the tree back to life getting the leaves smoothed out.
