Title: Small size, Phenomenal power
Review: Don't let the size of this fan fool you as it packs a hell of a punch exponentially for its class.I was looking for a air circulating fan to supplement our window AC during the summer & this little fan exceeded all my expectations & then some. Even on the lowest setting, the fan has been exemplary in circulating the air with/without the AC, not to mention, the fan is deceptively quiet throughout its operation. This is not only an awesome air circulating fan but just a exceptional fan on all fronts, worth every penny.

Title: Highly recommend (for a small-medium size bedroom)
Review: "It's getting hot in here, so hot, so take off all your"....wait you want me to what? Well, rather than taking off your clothes like Nelly suggested, we recommend picking up a Vornado air circulator to cool down your room rather than taking off all your clothes to beat the heat. Now a couple of things to know before you make the big jump to purchase this item. Is it expensive? YES! Will it cool your room down without needing to buy an expensive AC? Sort of. The fan does do a nice job of circulating the air around the room. Placing the fan with the head projected at the ceiling or wall will make the air bounce around in multiple directions to make the "feeling" of the air being circulated around no matter where you stand at.HOWEVER, the large to medium size models does a nice job of "cooling" down a small-medium size room, but it does not have the same impact on VAULTED CEILINGS. We suggest buying a larger model than the large size circulator if you have vaulted ceilings. You will still feel the air being circulated, but not as strongly as you would compared to it being placed in a non-vaulted ceiling area. It does not do a good job of cooling a room with hot air inside. We found that a combination of turning on the AC and turning on the fan allows the cold air to be circulated around nicely, however when the AC was turned off, the circulator would then just blow hot air around. We have a Dyson Pure Cool Link WiFi-Enabled Air Purifier, White and this does a much better job of cooling the room down compared to the $400 Dyson. Our Rating ScaleDesign: 5/5Utility: 5/5Effectiveness: 5/5Is it worth it?: To put it frankly, yes! It does do a nice job of cooling down your room. It is worth every penny (even though it is incredibly expensive!)Noticeable flaws: The newer model does come with a remote control which is a small nuisance in an age of remote access that you have to turn this device on manually. We tried going around this by adding a smart plug to have it turn on and off, HOWEVER we found that the smart plug only turned the fan off, BUT it doesn't turn the fan on.Our answers to the frequently asked questions:Does this fan oscillate?Unfortunately no. This fan stays in one position, however the one position allows the air to circulate throughout the room. You could move the fan up and down, but that is the extent in which the fan moves.Does this fan automatically rotate back and forth, or does is it just stay in one set position? In on set position unfortunately.Noise level? It is quite noisy at high levels. We would compare the same noise equivalent to the Dyson Air at high levels. The lower fan settings is less audible, but it is nothing overly noisy that it would be a distraction.Overall, we highly recommend the Vornado circulator to anyone in need of an innovative fan to cool down a small-medium size room.Like our review? Title: works great
Review: We got this for our camper, it ran 24/7 for three weeks straight the first three weeks this July in 80+ degree heat. it was quieter than our other fans and seemed to move more air for comparable size fans. easy to use, tilt is a little hard to do but found a method that makes it easy, hold the metal slide and push/pull through the base. very quite on medium or low, little louder on high but it is moving a lot of air.highly recommend this brand, might consider the larger one for next years trip.

Title: Best Fan ever
Review: Excellent fan since purchase. No issues. Quiet, strong. Everything as described. Would love for it to be easier to clean though which would change design.

Title: Large/660 Review Mostly great fan.
Review: I have never spent this much on a fan, but I was tired of poor-quality, loud, cheap ones (like the Honeywell HT-900 this is now replacing). I went with the large Vornado 660 to sit in a large (30'x16') "great room" to help circulate air. It sits on the floor of the kitchen opening, where it is cooler, and blows air pointed at the center of the cathedral ceiling in the great room. Very effective at normalizing the temps.Pros:* Just oozes quality. Well packed, well made, very attractive.* Controls on top where they are easy to access.* Electronic control has audible feedback with button presses.* Moves tons of air.* Is fantastically quiet on lower settings. On 1, I can sit next to it and barely know it is even on. On 2, which is quite enough air for this purpose, I can barely hear it at all from across the room. On 3 it is easily audible anywhere in the room, but not annoying. On 4 it is pretty loud, but also moves a TON of air.* White option, which suits my needs better than black. Kitchen has a nearly white floor and the wall it is next to is also white.* Extremely easy to adjust angle. Smooth tilt and stays where it is put. And the rail is also a handle.* Manual has instructions for cleaning, including disassembly.* 5 year warranty.Cons:* No light to tell you which of the 4 speeds it is using or that it is on.* Electronic controls do NOT remember previous state of fan when it is turned off and back on. When you press ON, it blasts at speed 4 (max) immediately. I find this extremely annoying.* Also has no memory for power failure, so if power is removed while it is running, it will not come back on when power is restored. This means it CANNOT be used with an external trigger, timer, or home automation outlet. Worse, this fact isn't disclosed in the description, website, or manual. Fortunately, this won't be a problem for me, but could for other people.* Manual doesn't have any specifications, like wattage, sound pressures, or CFM. Website has only CFM low/max and max watts. I measured the power for you: 1 = 22W/663 CFM/35dB, 2=28W, 3=35W, 4=47W/1638 CFM/54dB. So, oddly, for the airflow, it is more efficient the faster it is set.* Since it has electronic controls and is expensive, they could have thrown in a remote.Only time will tell if this was a good investment. I am currently satisfied. It would have been 5 stars but knocked down to 4 due to the lack of on/off memory and power state memory. Both would have cost almost nothing to design into the unit.

Review: Love it! It really does circulate the air in the room to keep things feeling cool. It keeps our main floor feeling cool and fresh. It helps reduce the need for A/C in the summer, and is a great supplement on those hot and humid days. Quality build, sturdy. Recommended!

Customers say
Customers like the airflow, power, and room cooling of the electric fan. They mention it circulates the air well, produces a powerful breeze, and is a great fan for a large room. Some also appreciate the build quality and size. However, some customers disagree on the quietness and value for money.
