Title: Sturdy and reliable fan for cooling and circulation
Review: I bought this fan after the cheaper Amazon fan I originally bought kept rattling when dust would accumulate on the blades. I've had this fan running for almost a consecutive year and have had zero problems at all - it does not rattle or make unwanted noise - and does a great job maintaining air circulation for my room. I live in a city with a lot of ambient noise and the lowest setting is loud enough to block out unwanted city noise but not too loud that I can't sleep at night. The medium and high settings are a bit too loud for me but I have this fan in my bedroom which isn't huge, so the low setting is strong enough anyway.

Title: Compact, Strong, Sturdy
Review: I've generally been using box fans which work fairly well, and I haven't really paid more than $20 for them. I realize you get what you pay for, and while some have lasted more than a couple of years, they've all tended to be kind of flimsy, especially the plastic grills on the front and the back. And I clean and maintain them regularly. Having said all of that, they are kind of cumbersome and get in the way. This year I figured I'd invest in something a little more expensive, a little more compact, but that serves the purpose of keeping the air circulating in the house.And this Vornado doesn't disappoint in the slightest. The first thing you'll notice is how compact it is. Which makes storing it or just chucking it in a corner when it's not in use very convenient. Despite its size, though, it's pretty darn powerful. And the circulation is great, even on the lowest of its three settings. Another thing is that for a small unit, it's SO sturdy and heavy for its size. The base is solid and there's very little chance it will even tip over. The unit swivels up and down fairly well, so you can really position it for maximum effect and efficiency.Best of all is the warranty: I mean, when's the last time you purchased something that has more than a year's warranty? This little Vornado comes with a whopping "5-year hassle-free promise and supported by a customer service team based in Andover, KS". All in all, a great purchase and worth the price.

Title: A+ for cooling and air circulation
Review: This is a quality fan and it really circulates the air and cools amazingly well for its size. It’s heavier than I expected so seems durable as long as you don’t drop it. It’s very portable and easy to fit in a variety of areas. It’s good on the floor or a table.I just wish for white noise it was louder. I like LOUD and this is fairly quiet but still okay for white noise.

It's not very loud and I can easily hear the TV or music with the fan going on high. Very highly recommended.

Review: This is a good fan to put on the floor or a chair to blow air into a room that your AC doesn’t cover too well. It does not rotate, but the three speeds are good variables to use for just one room. Good fan to use at night, especially in bedroom. Only noisy on high. low is comfortable, but you can get a good blast on high. Like it.

Review: The fan came fine, looked like a new piece. No physical damage. I plugged it in, the sound was low and the air speed was good. And then there was burning smell, smoke and then the fan died.All in all it looks like a well designed product, and I may just have had the bad luck of being delivered a faulty unit. And if that's the case I will change my review, but until such time that the seller sends me a replacement, this review stands.----Received the replacement, it was broken and not working! Adding pictures of the same!If you're in India looking for a circulatory fan there's an option from acer, I've ordered that, let's hope that doesn't disappoint.

Review: Okay, it's not 100% silent. It's not noisy though, just not completely silent.It's a fan, it moves air around, and that's going to make noise.That being said, It's very good at moving air around.I'm the kind of person that hates oscillating fans. With an oscillating fan you either have lots of air, or no air at all.This fan isn't like that. It's not a particularly large fan (though not small either) and doesn't oscillate. But by some weird magic it gives a gentle breeze throughout the room. There's a slight breeze even where it's not pointing directly at me. Even when on the lowest setting which is quiet enough for me. Not sure how it accomplishes this, but it's pretty great.I haven't used AC nearly as much this year so it's been well worth the price.
