Title: The Firm (Piano Solo Songbook)
Review: It is advanced music for this person who has played the piano for church, weddings, funerals, banquets, etc. since I was 10 years old and played consistently for 35+ years. Then, I stopped playing the piano to enter the business world. Now, I want to begin playing again and will start by playing a couple of the slower tunes, and also I listen and love the soundtrack. if you do not own it and like the genre of music, please consider making it a priority of having it in your music library. Arrangements seem to be done well in this advanced piano version of The Firm.

Title: Excellent Dave Grusin piano solos
Review: Iâm a professional pianist, and I bought this for my own enjoyment. I was very pleased that the transcriptions lived up to the original recordings so I could have fun learning how Dave Grusin does his exact voicings and rhythms. I bought them for his piano solos and ignored the rest.

Title: The arrangements sound just like the movie
Review: I love the arrangements of these songs, if you can play them, which I have a hard time doing, even with years of experience playing piano. The songs are worth learning, and I look forward to delving into these arrangements until I can play them without stopping every few seconds to squint at the notes, and get my fingering right. They are challenging songs, but once learned, anyone in another room might think you're watching the movie.

Title: All the Grusin pieces are superb. An "average" piano player can eventually learn with practice
Review: I love the soundtrack from this movie. The Grusin pieces are the real value here, not the other additional non-Grusin songs. The pieces sound just like the originals. While the difficulty of the pieces might at first intimidate or confound the "average" piano player, after some practice, I found that I could play them relatively well, although certainly not like Dave Grusin, the master himself, of course.

Title: You, too, can play jazz. ...Really!
Review: For the rusty piano player, this is challenging music, but oh so fun to learn it. I recommend buying the cd too so that you can listen to how it's supposed to sound as you try to get your fingers to play all those notes. This is my favorite piano music purchase in a long time!

Title: Rings eg would be better for page turnings by a pianist
Review: Music is remarkable. The method of publishing cheap. Rings eg would be better for page turnings by a pianist. Staples improved. Publisher insults the composer with a cheap method of binding

Review: Recommended this book and so glad I got it. As other reviews mention it's definitely for more advanced players as Dave Grusin pushes you. Loved Memphis Stomp and Rays Blues particularly. Been great to play when I'm needing a lift from the day job! 🙂

Review: nicht zu einfach, nur für fortgeschrittene Spieler zu empfehlen. Davor am besten einmal anhören sonst versteht man den Rhythmus nicht

Review: I was looking for the track 'Ray's Blues', but the version in this album is only 3 pages long and I am aware of a longer one. Otherwise, a great soundtrack of piano pieces.
