Title: Great for gophers!
Review: My garden has been overrun by gophers for years. I still will not kill or trap them so most everything I plant has to be in a raised bed with wire lining the bottom or in wire gopher baskets. I decided to give these a try and boy am I impressed! They actually work! I put these next to two areas in my garden that have plants that have grown out of their wire baskets. I noticed that gophers had been eating the roots of these plants and pulling the tops of them into their holes every single day and it was so frustrating. So, ever since I placed these gopher stakes near my plants I've been checking on them every single day and I can't believe it, but there are no gophers eating those plants. There are no new gopher holes nearby either. So exciting! Another thing I noticed was that I thought since they were solar they would only work during daylight hours. I had occasion to go outside last night at 1am and I could hear them still beeping. Not sure how long they beep at night but working that late into the night is pretty awesome! I think I will be purchasing some more of these gopher stakes. YAY!

Title: Happy so far
Review: We put one of these on each side of our shed several weeks ago. The ground is pretty hard and we had a hard time getting one of them as deep as it should be. It makes more audible noise if it is less deep. But we have to go to the shed to hear it anyhow.We've had a family of groundhogs living under our shed and I'd like to get rid of them because they eat my plants. Since we put these out we haven't seen them. I can't say for sure that they've left, but we haven't seen them. So far so good....

Title: So far they work.
Review: Really like these compared to others I have had in the past. They sit more flush to the ground and they do not have that annoying light. They are a little lower pitch when they buss so you cant hear them like the others I have. Seem to work well at keeping chipmunks away so far.

Title: Easy to set up but not sure if it was working well !
Review: I have been using the mole repellent for years just to control the mole visiting from my neighbor yard . It worked well but perhaps these moles were getting used to it so I had to use them in combination with the Tom Cat worm food product. I loved the fact that these are solar so I don't have to change out the battery. I would give it a four stars rating for ease of set up but took 1 star off because I have not been able to keep these moles away from my yard for 1 week since I placed it on the ground. Will update my rating if needed.

Title: One down
Review: I ordered this pack and played them outdoors facing the sun in the off position for one week. Then put them in their places around the yard. One died within a couple days, we are in a drought and it wasn't subject to any rain so I deducted a star for that. The others are going strong. It's a good value for four of them as I had one given to me that was fourth dollars for one. Installation was easy, I used a little auger bit for a drill to pop the holes in the ground. I will say this about this device, it doesn't seem to drive them away as much as repell them. We had a bad mole problem here. Installing these seemed to make the moles mad and caused more damage. Killing them with poison or a trap like i did. Then Installing these is the trick. Our mole population is almost zero now because the stick prevent new moles from filling the vacancies.

Title: Good idea but…..
Review: I like these mole repellent sound makers. Solar powered which is great however, after 4-6 weeks of usage, only 2 of the 4 units are now working. That’s a bummer but it is what it is.

Title: Keeps critters away.
Review: I like these 4 Pack Mole Repellent stakes for a few reasons, besides keeping moles/voles and woodchucks out of my garden/flower beds. One important reason like the fact that they are solar operated. Love not having to do the whole battery thing. The whole stake part is one piece and solid. They do have an on/off button so while I was charging them up on the deck (to take to the country house) I was able to shut off the buzz/vibration and didn’t have to listen to it. It could be annoying if they were placed too close to one's house or patio. They get direct sunlight where I placed them. I have had effective results in deterring moles, gophers, groundhogs, voles and without causing any harm. A great plus is that they are eco-friendly and solar-powered. A sustainable choice for pest controlI.I recommend these mole repellent stakes as a safe and humane solution to deter the little critters..

Title: Better mole deterrent
Review: I have used the battery operated versions of these for a number of years. It's hard to say just how effective these are but they do seem to have some benefit. The moles do try to avoid the area that they are in but the effective range allows them to just move to another area of my lawn. If you add more spikes they work better - no surprise there. In any case I do continue to use them but need to remember to change out the batteries at least once a year. These new spikes are an improvement over the old ones by being solar powered so not needing batteries. They seem to work the same once installed.
