PERFORMANCE - Max. Flow 300GPH, Max lift 4ft, Power 20W. For tank size of 40-150 Gallons. This fish filter provides not only filtration, but also aeration and circulation to your tank. The flow rate is adjustable to meet different requirements to grow fish and plants. The filter’s height is 13.2inch (33.5cm) and diameter is 2.56inch (6.5cm)
FULLY SUBMERSIBLE - This fish tank filter is fully submersible with epoxy sealed motor. Each product has been submerged in water and tested with super high voltage before ex-work to ensure the safety.
3-STAGE FILTRATION - 3 sponge blocks - COARSE SPONGE filters out large size impurities such as food residue, fish excrements, plant leaves etc.; CARBONIZED SPONGE removes odor, chlorine and fine particles; FINE SPONGE polishes water before it goes back to tank. PLUS the transparent box makes it easy to observe the filtering material when they get dirty. Search code “B0CHVQKW1X” for the replacement sponges.
2 WAYS OF USE - 1. AERATING MODE - Aeration is very important to your fish. This aquarium filter also provides an air venturi and air tubing to increase oxygen supply in your fish tank. The air flow is adjustable with the regulator. 2. RAINFALL MODE- Filtered water goes to the spray bar and flow out from the holes to create water agitation at the surface, which is very favorable to fish. The Rainfall Mode also provides more even and gentle water distribution.
MULTI-PURPOSE / EXTENSIVE USE - This filter can not only work as a filter for fish tank, but also as a turtle tank filter, or a filter for small ponds. It can be placed vertically in aquarium tanks, or horizontally in shallow water of turtle tanks / small ponds. Note: whichever positon the filter is used, make sure the filter is FULLY SUBMERGED in water.

Title: Best filter I’ve ever had and it’s affordable
Review: The first day I installed this filter my water was like a greenish color. The walls of the fish tank were disgusting, even after using a magic eraser to clean off all the scum. The next morning, my water looked just like it did in the video clear. The walls were cleaner. The fish were moving around a lot more. I cleaned out the sponges After that first day and it’s been running for maybe three or four days now and the The sponges are still their normal color and the water hasn’t been clear for this long ever.

Title: Loud
Review: Unfortunately I had to purchase a different filter because this one was just way too loud. I tried it with and without the spray bar, and while always fully submerged I also tried it vertically and horizontally. I feel like this filter did the job, so I will give it 3 stars, but it was way too noisy for me!

Title: Strong fist line of defense, could be good for small tank
Review: Pros: very strong, will clear your water quickly (using the aeration function). Not really loud, although sometimes I can hear it, usually prior to cleaning. Be prepared to catch debris that will fall out of bottom basket when you turn it off for cleaning (I use a net, I saw another post about a solo cup). I think this would work well for a smaller tank although IDK about the effectiveness of it long term w/only sponge filters (I would research that, I am using with other filters in a large tank). It is long. Strong water movement (IDK on the waterfall setting, not using that).IDK if this item has longevity or not yet. Have had it about a month.Cons: (let me preface this by saying this was brought in for extra aeration on a 75 gallon freshwater tank, during a fish emergency, where there are a more large fish living together until a new second tank is set up). In this situation where I have a tank filter and a HOB filter, this filter is for extra aeration but due to its power (good or bad) and its intake being very close to the substrate, I think it is acting like a "first line of defense", taking in larger particles, etc, before they get to the other intakes. I have to clean this filter every 3 days or it stops working. As you can see in the photo, the 2 top sponges get sucked up towards the grated barrier before the impeller and then water/air stops coming out. ( I have it set closer to MIN on the strength dial and those plants have nothing to do with how it functions). Maybe in a smaller tank with less giant fish (not pictured) it wouldn't do that, but 3 grades of sponge vs. a coarse material, charcoal and a sponge for filtration seems odd to me, and over time in this situation, the sponges get sucked upwards. (I will note that when I go to clean it all, the impeller isn't dirty, so they block that, good or bad.)The rotating/clicking of each section to take it apart/put back together is annoying and sometimes I have to have another person with better grip do it. Eventually it will probably break from this activity. But for the price...maybe ok..I haven't priced out replacing sponges yet.Keep it submerged.I did not use it parallel or with "fountain" attachment or as a pump-out.

Title: Garbage - Zero stars
Review: I put it together and ran it for a week. The water was pretty dirty because it's predecessor, another one that i bought on amazon, failed and leaked water all over my wood floor. Anyway, I took it after a week out to clean it and change out 1 of the fine filter pieces for the ceramic biosphere balls or sticks, whatever. I put it back in the tank, plugged it in and...nothing. it won't work, but it does get hot. I'd not waste my time or money on another one.

Title: Great for home bait tank
Review: Purchased as a way to keep mudminnowa/shrimp/ croakers etc alive in my garage. Since we travel on fishing trips all over Florida, it's nice to catch or buy bait ahead of time. This pump converts a 150 quart cooler into an awesome bait tank. Highly recommend
