Title: too small to fit around the top of a standard tank
Review: Not only is it too small to fit around the top of a 10 gallon tank packaging was horrible and the suction tube is extremely short. Definitely do not recommend unless you were literally putting it in like a one or 2 gallon tank.

Title: Nice little filter
Review: I have a small 3-gallon shrimp and plant tank. I first purchased a Penn Plax Cascade 20 but didn't really like it. So, I ordered this Filter G1 Ultra-Quiet 80. This a really nice filter. What I like about this filter is amount of option packed into this small filter. First is the sponge filter on the intake and another one inside the right chamber, which you can use as a polishing filter floss. Secondly, the left chamber is deep enough for bio balls and either charcoal or purigen if you prefer. Third the filter has a nice skimmer that sits on top of the plastic tube that will adjust to your water level. Lastly, this filter has a water flow adjustment on the intake which adjust very well from a full flow to a trickle, and it doesn't bypass your inside filtration like some others filters on the market.As far as the noise level, the filter is about a foot away from me on my computer desk and I barely can hear it. It does make a very small vibration type noise but it's extremely low compared to the distance I am away from it. The only thing I wonder is how long the motor will last on it since I never heard of this brand.

Title: tiny external filter.
Review: Quiet and efficiant works well for 10 gallon gold fish tank. The skimmer part needs to be completely level to spin and then is kinda tempermental (the water level needs to be *Just* right) Or you can tilt to the side and partially submerge and it seems to function the same, but doesn't spin or get the air bubble. We just , luckily you can tilt it to the left or right to achieve this. When cleaning the tank or if the fish get curious, the skimmer part can be knocked free easily. Instructions included in the box are minimal and can be difficult to prime. But overall for the price is a very good choice, minus 1 start due to lack of comprehensive instructions and difficulty with skimmer functioin.

Review: Bought one 2 weeks ago for one of my 5 gal. beta tank and wasn't sure if the water flow is too much for my beta. This filter is great and customizable with my own bio media. Water flow can be adjust so it's great to beta tank. This is my 2nd order for my other beta tank.

Title: It’s loud
Review: Had it for a day and I already found it annoying. I got it for my room and it makes so much noise kinda sound like an air pump. It’s pretty loud. If you don’t mide the noise or have it where you can’t hear it, it’s a good filter but I wouldn’t get another one

Title: Doesn't filter well.
Review: I put this filter on a small beta tank. It was not very helpful as a filter unless I cleaned it every other day. Also found the parts to be flimsy.
