Title: Tipped snapped after only a few months of minimal use
Review: Update - as of 9/20, dropping to 1 star. I filed a service / warranty claim on 9/4. They need 14-17 business days to respond. Thats just not right. Still awaiting any form of communication. This will be my last St. Croix pole. Unacceptable way to do business.It’s a nice pole, great feel to it, great weight. The tip snapped off only a few months after buying this and with pretty minimal use. And the scenario wasn’t even unique or it was huge fish, it was in hooked onto one of the guides on way down to the lake, not even tight…. My cheap poles have lasted so much longer (10+ years!). Rather disappointing.

Review: Didn't like when delivered one of the shipping plugs was out of the container. However, rod was not damaged- packaged very nicely inside of tube. The rod itself fits all my need jerkbaits (small) pitches nice (small baits) and handles jigging good. Its a keeper!

Review: This is an excellent rod. However note the rod was shipped with zero protection in just the plastic bag from CA to MD. It arrived with 2 bent eyes. I decided to let this go versus the hassle of a return/exchange. The rod itself was not damaged.
