【Telescopic Travel Fishing Rods】KastKing Compass spinning and casting telescopic fishing rods are the perfect, go anywhere travel fishing rod for active anglers. Never leave home again without your favorite fishing rod because you don’t have space to take them with you. These rods collapse down to just 17” long to travel anywhere.
【Lightweight, Sensitive Graphite Composite Blank】KastKing Compass Telescopic fishing rods are made using light, sensitive and durable graphite composite blanks. Graphite composite rod blanks are lighter than fiberglass fishing rod blanks and transmit energy better providing for better performance and bite sensitivity. The split rear handle design reduces weight and provides for better balance.
【Available in Spinning and Casting Models】There is a wide range of lengths available in both spinning rods and casting rods. Spinning models are available from a light action 5’6” rod that is perfect for young anglers, trout and panfish, all the way to a 7’ medium heavy action that is perfect for bass, trout and walleye. Casting rod models are available in a 6’ medium action, a 6’6” medium heavy and a 7’ medium heavy for a wide range of species.
【Premium Components and Construction】 Only high-quality components are used in the construction of the new KastKing Compass Telescopic travel rods. Lightweight graphite spinning reel seats and graphite casting reel seats with a trigger will keep fishing reels securely in place. Stainless steel guide frames with Titanium Oxide ceramic rings are perfect for use with mono, fluorocarbon and braided fishing lines. Each travel rod also includes a Drop Shot style hook keeper.
【Easy to Pack and Travel 】 One piece and even 2-piece rods are difficult and expensive to travel with. The KastKing Compass Travel rod series will pack easily into back packs, luggage, on an airplane, golf bag, motorcycle or just about anywhere you want to go. Never leave home without a fishing rod! You never know when you’re going to come across a great place to go fishing and wish you had a telescopic fishing pole with you. They also reduce fishing rod storage space at home between trips.

Title: So far so good.- value rod
Review: I got mine sept 2020 and am looking to buy more.I hope they did not change quality. Looking at all the 1 star reviews.I took it fishing in california, montana, arizona and belize.Yes the tip is super bendy allowing some fish to set themselves free - pike and bonefish will get off easily. It performs beautifully as long as you don’t try to set the hook like a maniac.Small and big mouth bass, porgy, trout, catfish, bluegill, snapper.Had some snags where I had to yank the lure, hook out of rocks and branches - still works.Aligning the guides takes a while to get used to but gets easier with practice.I also have the blqckhawk which has free floating guides. That is a pain to align. That one has the guides fixed to each segment. It will not replace a fast action or a deep sea fishing rod- you will not be able to catch swordfish with it.But in a pinch, it works. And is fun.Because of the bendy tip you feel uthe fight.I wish kastking would send me some of their products for review. Or at least the missing buttcap - haha I travel a lot. Will be ordering another one and will update here on how it goes.Pros:Portability - can have one in the car all the timeReliable so farNice feel in handLightCons:It takes a little while to get used to casting accurately because of the bendy tipLost the buttcapNo other cons. I enjoy fishing with this rod.

Title: Excellent Travel Rods!
Review: Excellent travel rod! I needed something ultra portable to carry with me in my fishing crate on the rear rack of my e-bike. I tried a couple other Amazon seller brands, but I've recently become quite partial to KastKing after trying a couple of their products (specifically the KastKing Zephyr baitcasting reel) and decided to buy this as my portable spinning rod solution (6'6" Medium). I decided not to buy the Compass combo and instead paired this Compass rod with the KastKing Centron instead, which looks really sharp. I also bought the Compass 7' Casting Medium-Heavy rod and paired it with the KastKing Zepher baitcaster reel that I already had. I actually prefer my spinning rods to be medium-light, but it's very difficult to find that in a telescoping/portable rod, so I was actually pleased to find something less than medium-heavy. The rods extend and retract nicely, cast fairly well (telescoping rods tend to have a smaller diameter lower guide which inhibits casting a bit), and seems durable enough. I suspect the butt cover will continue to get loose and/or fall off (like it did in transport), but I'll just keep an eye on it.

Title: Broke after 1st use.(edit)
Review: First rod broke after catching first fish, but company replaced it free of charge. Maybe it was just a defective rod because the 2nd one has been holding up great. Very light and compacts easily. Be careful retracting the rod because sometimes it gets a little stuck and you might end up bending the eyelets

Title: Sent wrong size, broke in half when fishing
Review: I was sent a smaller pole size Then what I ordered didn't realize it until I took it out fishing. when fishing it broke in half when I set the hook. Only fished with it for couple of hoursUPDATE: Was contacted about my review. I was really impressed by their customer service and how quickly they answered emails. I was sent a replacement rod and offered a one year warranty on the rod. After fishing with a new rod I do not Confident in the rod and I would only use for Pan fish like sunfish blue Gill and croppy tip. Seem like tip of rod wanted to break a didn't seem very reliable. I was hoping they would send me a baitcaster reel I really wanted to try one of there baitcaster did not want to spend the money on it just because of the poor Is quality of the rod. I don't think the reels would be that good Maybe in distance future By their customer service I feel this company is gonna Grow to make good products just not right now by my opinion.

Title: Budget Travel Option
Review: Nice rod to stick in my luggage. Extending the unit takes a little effort, which I would prefer to it being too loose and sloppy. I banged the unit around some while using it in a local river. But I was able to snag a 4-5 pound catfish on it, worked fine. Was able to close it up . Works well for what I needed.

Title: Awesome rod to keep under the truck seat
Review: After driving by too many juicy looking fishing spots because I didn't have rod in my truck, I decided to buy a telescoping rod to keep under the front seat. This thing works great, and collapses down to a very compact size. It's not as sensitive as a high-end one-piece rod, but it is usable for sure. I paired it with Lews Hypermag 3000 spinning reel and it is very well balanced and lightweight. I can't wait to get some bigger bass with this combo once the spring comes. The shipping package was very nice and the rod was well protected. It also included a re-usable plastic piece that fits over the tip and wraps around the rod to protect it and keep it collapsed when you are not using it. I ended up sewing a little leather pouch to keep it in, but the plastic piece that is included would work just fine.I have tried a few other telescoping rods in the past and none of them lasted more than a few outings. This one feels like it will last a long time. I'll update the review if I run into any issues, but for now, 5 Stars!

Title: Perfect for work rig!
Review: I like to stop my some local holes on the way to or from work. My work vehicle tends to be packed quite often. My two piece rods have gotten damaged before getting them in and out and stuff shifting. So this is perfect for tossing in the cab with me in such a small foot print. I normally salmon fish and would like a bit longer but this is easy enough to toss in my backpack without out snagging on branches and whatnot. The sensitivity is pretty good and a good back bone. Price was spot on for being a travel rod. I would recommend this for any travel fisherman. Can’t wait to throw it in my suitcase as well.

Title:
Review: For the price, it's a great telescopic rod, feels well made. I might replace the reel though, it feels pretty stiff and you do have to put a lot of effort in to closing the bail by reeling which makes me worry for the longevity of that mechanism.
